| mara's point of view
"Did Jimin tell you something?" Jungkook asked on our way out of the building basement, "You were avoiding him the whole time."
"I'm just not used to him that's all." I easily lied but Jungkook was far more clever to believe a word I say.
Jungkook gripped onto my wrist, "Mara, did he tell you anything?"
His gaze was scary. Jungkook was scary. I still don't know anything about him. I know he has secrets, everyone does but why can't I find it? He was too clean; too careful to the point that being with him scares me.
"No." I answered back.
"Then why do you look so worried?" He asked me, suddenly his voice was soft as if he was genuinely concerned.
"What are you hiding?" I looked into his eyes, his cold black eyes. I didn't know what I was looking for but I needed an answer. "Jungkook, what is with Jimin? Taehyung called me. He kept bringing him up and now you. You're both acting like there's something to Jimin that I mustn't know."
He broke eye contact with me before I felt him tugging my wrist and soon enough I was being dragged towards his car.
"Why are you not answering me?" I asked him again as he got his seatbelt across his chest.
"Wear your seatbelt." He said but I ignored him.
"Don't start with me right now." Jungkook leaned over as he pulled my seatbelt on for me, "Ask one more question and I'll kiss you."
I glared outside the window throughout the drive. We arrived at his house without the two of us speaking a word to each other. Jungkook honked twice and the gates opened for him. He parked the car in the drive way and threw the keys to one of their personal drivers.
"Come out." Jungkook opened the door and grabbed my hand when I was taking too long with my bag.
"I can walk on my own!" I yanked my hand back only to receive an annoying smile from him. "What's that smile about?"
"Nothing."
I followed Jungkook to his room. Like a helpless prey, I stood in the middle of his room; a spacious room for a single person. It was insane how he had a walk in closet the size of my own room. Jungkook took his shirt off in front of me, flashing his nicely built body. He looked amazing, his toned torso is chiseled to perfection; so tempting.
"I was really happy you chose to trust me over Jimin." Jungkook said as he walked towards me, still half naked.
"I haven't decided yet." I replied and he laughed. "Aren't you going to put a shirt on?"
"No." Jungkook smirked as he unbuckled his belt and dropped it on the foot of his bed, "This is my room. I can do whatever I want. That includes you."
A knock came on the door, "Jungkook?"
Jungkook unexpectedly pulled my hand. I lost my balance and was easily thrown on the bed. Our eyes connected and I was speechless as I watch him tower over me.
Shit.
"What the fuck are you doing!" I yelled at him as pinned me hard on the sheets, "Get off me!"
Jungkook shushed my lips with his finger, "Just cooperate with me and this will be over before you know it."
He then took my blouse off with great difficulty as I thrashed my body around, desperately trying to get myself free. I began swearing at him but then he acted fast and placed his hand over my mouth, muffling my screams.
"Jungkook?" The woman behind the door called again, she sounded very familiar.
"We're right on time." Jungkook glanced at the door before pulling the sheets over us. He leaned in closer and slowly let his hand loose over my mouth. "Any minute now Sewon will open that door and catch us in here. I will pretend to fuck you and you're going to sound like you're having the best sex of your life. Got it?"
"What! I haven't had sex before. How would I-" Jungkook's hand was on my mouth again. I tried to stay still, setting aside the discomfort of his weight on my body.
"I'll help you." Jungkook then smirked before he latched his lips on the skin of my neck, "Just let it come naturally."
"I'm coming in."
Jungkook's hand locked my wrists together above my head while his other hand supported his weight. We were both half naked and our skin touching. Jungkook held my attention for a second before he open his mouth and kissed me, the fabric of his jeans pressing hard against my skirt.
The door creaked open. Sewon stood frozen at the doorway, eyes fixed on us but before she could even say a word, Jungkook dived down on the crook of my neck.
I shut my eyes close and screamed when he bit me and then licked my skin with his tongue. "Good girl. That's how you scream when I'm on top."
*
I didn't speak to Jungkook on the way home. He insisted on driving me home. I felt really bad for Sewon. I could imagine what she felt back there, her tears were so real. She really loved Jungkook. She seemed like she was still in love with him but why is Jungkook doing this? Why are they making it hard for each other? They could literally just tell each other how they feel and they'd be off.
I don't even know where this started but I'm in too deep. I can't just walk away. The car came to a stop. I realized that Jungkook has pulled over in front of my house.
"We're going to Jimin's villa for the weekend." Jungkook said. "Jimin invited everyone."
"Uh, sorry but I have other things to do over the weekend." I told him right at his face, "Like I have a life outside of school just in case you forgot."
"You look so cute whenever you think I'm asking for your permission." He smirked as he leaned in closer to me, "Baby whether you like it or not. You are coming with me."
My heart pounded hard for a fraction of a second before I heard the click of his car door being unlocked. His stare was piercing through me and his smile was a warning that I should always be cautious of.
His eyes traveled down to the base of my neck where his bite mark was prominent, "Sorry for that bite. I had to make you scream." He smiled, recalling the event in his mind. "You did better than what I expected."
I pushed him back, giving myself time to collect my self before speaking, "Fine. I'll go. But this better be a decent retreat." Jungkook kept the smile on his face as he listened to my exaggerated theories, "I'm warning you now. I'm pretty skilled at handling cutlery."
"I can't promise you anything since I have no idea what would happen too." He shrugged his shoulders, "You just have to hope for the best." Jungkook winked playfully.
I watched him drive off before I trudded alone to the front door. Mom wasn't home yet so I have plenty of time to think of an excuse for this weekend. It's not going to be easy because my mom is a pretty good judge when it comes to excuses.
"I was wondering why you were gone so fast after school." Taehyung popped out from nowhere, looking as lowkey as possible with a plain white shirt and jeans. "So you've been spending time at Jungkook's house? In his room?"
"Are you stalking me now?" I started, letting him know that I'm not happy to see him. I rolled my eyes at him and turned to walk away. "Don't follow me."
Arf! Arf! Suddenly, a little furball was wagging its tail at me. He was waiting at my doorstep. I recognize the cute furball and so I picked him up and cradled him in my arms.
"Aw. Bailey, you poor thing." I cooed as I ruffled his damp hair, "Did Taehyung let you play in the rain? He's a bad owner, isn't he?" Bailey stuck his tongue out and squirmed excitedly, "He's using you to get to me, isn't he?"
"Hey I'm not!" Taehyung countered. I turned to him and noticed that he was also damp and wet from the rain. "We were waiting for you but then it rained and we couldn't find a place to stay."
He looked so harmless right now but I reminded myself that these boys are very dangerous. They are not to be trusted.
"Come with me. You can dry yourself inside." I told him and he immediately smiled like an innocent child.
Taehyung dried Bailey off first with the small towel I gave him. He took my hair blower to dry the puppy's hair but he was having a bit of trouble making him stay still. "Uh, can you help me hold him down?"
I sat across him on the floor and held the puppy with both of my hands until he was finished blow drying his hair. I threw him a warm blanket as he was drying his hair, "Give me your shirt. I'm gonna put it in the dryer. You can put the blanket on you for the mean time."
"Seriously. I'm fine Mara." He insisted but I was more hard headed.
"Don't make me repeat what I said."
He smiled before stripping in front of me. I have seen him half naked. I have seen Jungkook half naked earlier so it doesn't bother me anymore. Jungkook had a nicer build and Taehyung was more slim but whether they're dressed or half dressed, they're still fuck boys.
I threw his shirt in the dryer and set it for five minutes. That should do it. Then I returned to the living room and busied myself with anything just to avoid looking at him.
"Do you want something to drink?" I turned around and found him already behind me. The blanket barely covered his chest.
"Mara, I've been wanting to talk to you for a long time." Taehyung started. We were only one step apart.
"Okay. But will you back up a bit." I told him and surprisingly he listened to me.
"Look, I know I wronged you. I really messed up big time and that's why I'm here, to tell you I'm sorry." For the first time, he couldn't look me in the eye.
It's like he wasn't the Taehyung I dated for a month. The Taehyung who'd crack sex jokes at me every time he got a chance. The Taehyung who'd say mean things to people. He wasn't that Taehyung anymore and I only realized it now as he stood before me.
"I did a lot of bad things but only because I thought it was right." He lifted his head up and looked at my face, watching my reactions, "I'm so bad at making decisions. I didn't know any better and for that I'm sorry, Mara."
"I forgive you." I said and smiled at him. It was easy to forgive than to continue ignoring him. I didn't like the feeling of hating someone.
Taehyung pulled me in tight embrace, "Thank you. I feel so much better now."
My cheeks flushed pink at the situation I was in. I could feel his warm skin against mine and his scent that reminds me of cashews. I don't know why.
"Um, you're welcome?" I broke the hug and watch a smile grow on his face.
"I'm on your side, Mara. Don't worry. You can trust me. I put my loyalty to you. I promise to be 100% honest with you at all times." Taehyung said as he flashed a familiar warm smile. "But there's a few more things I need to confess to you."
