-let's clarify...i'm okay. but if that's what you believe, i guess doing it a lot makes you better at it, so i would say practice. it's really cool to see my growth in writing from nine months ago, like i've gradually gotten so much better and i think that's awesome. it also helps if you have good grammar and you know how actual novels and stuff works. i read a lot too so that helps as well.🤓📚

When did you start writing this and why?
-i officially started writing this in november of 2015, and like i said i adopted this book when it was at chapter 7 so i'm not sure when the first chapter was published. in terms of why, i decided to save it from being discontinued bc i felt like i could put my ideas for it to use and see what would come out of it. it was really just an experiment.🔬⚗🤓

-i planned all of the events out for it a long time ago, but when an idea comes to me about it, i write it down so i don't forget and i try to find a place where it will fit in.

✨ side note: guys, i know how cringey a lot of the beginning chapters are and that's why i re-edited(??) the time and everything to where it made more sense, obviously it was unrealistic, but i guess you have to take into consideration the fact that i didn't start out writing this so i didn't really know the original author's intentions on the whole thomas and kate relationship. i just kind of wanted thomas out of the way so i could start developing luke and kate's relationship so this book didn't take forever, but trust me when i say i know it was pretty unrealistic, that's why i went back and filled in some holes so kate and thomas had been "hanging out together" for like almost three months, you know just to give her time to actually start liking him and all that so it didn't seem dumb for her to be crying over it if you get what i'm saying. you can feel free to read back so you can see what i'm talking about, but i was just giving a heads up!😊 ✨

How do you feel writing the, let's just say, "lesson" scenes?
-awkward af to be honest. i think it comes with practice, and the more you write it the better you become, but sometimes it makes me feel uncomfortable. also, i really had to find my style of writing smut and figure out what i liked to write and what i didn't, and that came with reading a bunch of it, and i mean A LOT. and obviously i like reading different things than i'm comfortable with writing. like, i don't like using technical words for different things and that's why i use replacements a lot, but i try to have multiple different replacement words for different things so it doesn't get too repetitive. i also like more fluffy stuff, so making it rough and all that with a bunch of dirty talk is definitely not my thing, i'm fine reading it but i feel really uncomfortable writing it. all in all, it's truly a very mature thing to write and even to read so you have to have a sense of maturity for it and as long as you're being mature about it, it's totally fine.🙃

What's your favorite thing about being in the 5SOS Fam?
-the music and the people. like i've always been kind of misunderstood but the outside world and when i found a group of people who were just like me it felt really liberating also most of you guys are really nice and the music is great and the boys are funny af and hot af and can sing v well and i'm so in love okay bye

What inspired you to write this fanfic?
-i felt like i had a lot to offer and i wanted to twist the story so it wasn't strictly smut. i believed it had much more potential than that

Why did she cry so much after finding Thomas with Lexi? Like she only knew him for a week...
-hahaha that's where you're wrong lol. if you go back and read, you'll notice that they'd been hanging out for like 2 1/2 - 3 months and she honestly believed he was going to ask her out soon. and i know a lot of people were like, but you had sex with luke and all of that, and yes that's true but...she actually liked thomas and she was gearing up her emotions for him to ask her out or whatever and she just had luke giving her the lessons so when it came down to if she were to do anything with thomas, she wouldn't seem inexperienced if you get what i'm saying. she didn't, at least she thought, have feeling for luke at the time, but thomas seemed to be going behind her back the whole with this lexi girl and tried to cover it up by saying she was his cousin and so kate ultimately caught him lying to her face along with the pain of being so excited for him to ask you out but he doesn't and then some. idk if that makes sense but that's how it happened and why she was crying so much. ps. i know it was a little dramatic, but i don't really care, there was still smut at the end so...i'm not complaining (rebound sex, but he didn't stop her & this is where the plot started to unfold 😉😏)

Why does Kate cry so much?
-she's emotionally unstable...jk no she's just really sensitive i guess. if you look at her back story and how things kind of played out when she was younger, i guess you'd realize that she doesn't want a repeat of things and that's one of the main reasons why she denied her feelings for luke so much in the first place. it didn't work out the first time and she was kind of hurt by that, she didn't want a blast from the past. then her parents are always away, so she thinks they don't really care. and basically she feels like she's been alone throughout this whole ordeal like she wasn't able to go to her mom the first time she realized she had a crush on luke because her mom was always away, so she's never really had that structure that most people need and i guess the only way she really knows how to deal with her feelings is cry, but not just cry because she's sad or whatever, most of the time she cries out of frustration. and if any of you have ever cried because you were so frustrated, you should know how that feels because i definitely do lol😪💔

What is your favorite 5SOS fanfic and why?
-omg this is such a hard question, you'll have to let me think, and i'll get back to you on that one...*2 months later* uh it's a lot of tough competition but I'm going to choose one fic for each boy really like 7:15 by fivesaucewhoop (ashton), Fall by fivesaucewhoop (luke), Roommates by sugarplumluke (calum), and That Boy Next Door by bmthemmo (michael) & remember those selections are just based off of what i've read, and just note that i stopped reading fanfic when i started writing just so i didn't get side tracked by a story and also so i didn't let a story influence my work. i'm aware that there are a ton more fics that i haven't read yet but i'm working on expanding my horizon a little more

-it's really cool honestly. like when this book first like "took off" i was so excited and i didn't know what to do with myself lol but yeah it's awesome to see everyone commenting and telling me how they feel about certain stuff and all that, but i'm kind of losing the motivation to write and all that because people don't seem to be enjoying it as they once were like, i barely get comments on chapters anymore you know and it's just kind of down putting, off throwing, whatever you'd like to call it. it's like i'm losing connection to the readers because now i don't know what you guys think that much anymore so yeah. it almost feels like y'all think it's boring and i don't like to write it if i don't think it'll be good, so is it starting to get boring? if it is i'm sorry, i'm trying to keep it as interesting as possible i promise😞

-omg, idk. um...it depends on what kind of past we're talking about. if it was an intimate past, i'd be sad, but you also have to be mature about it and respect the relationship they have, and i know it's hard especially if you like them, but you can't let your feelings get in the way of their relationship bc trust me you'd feel even worse if you were the one who ruined it. if you really liked them, you should be able to put your feelings to the side and be supportive because it'll work out for you in the long run😌

Where do you usually find the inspiration to continue doing what you're doing, whether it be in life or for this book?
-i guess my goals...like when i reach them i always strive for better. my mom says that i set the bar so high sometimes that i'm the only one trying to surpass me, which is probably true (like who gets all 100s and above on their report card? pfftt) yeah and if i'm having a rough day, i just remind myself of what i'm working for and all of the hard work i've put in so far that it's too much to just quit. i used to have panic attacks all the time around a couple years ago, and they just started only being sporadic around a couple months ago, but you know i had 5SOS and that's really all i needed. i had this technique i used to calm myself down, and it only helped more when carry on came out so i'm grateful for that, and i just made up in my mind that i was push even when i couldn't go anymore, and that's actually one of the many things gymnastics taught me. but as for this book, it's you guys really. idk where you all came from but i'm glad you're here bc i honestly wouldn't still be writing this if no one was reading bc that's pretty pointless. i love all of the feedback i get and the constructive criticism, and i know someone in the comments pointed out that i always clear stuff up in the comments, and yeah i try my best to do that so people can understand a little bit better or if i worded something wrong, but it's mostly to get a better understanding of where the characters are coming from. but yeah you guys keep me motivated, like i never thought i would be here and it's so incredible so thank you😇💕

How did you find 5SOS?
-long story, but i'll make it as short as possible. so i was in the 6th grade and my friend was really obsessed with adele, but i didn't really care for her. she begged and begged for me to listen to rolling in the deep, and i refused like no tomorrow. one day, she sang it all day and only agreed to stop if i watched the video when i got home, but i had to call her for proof. so i did, i looked up the video and watched it with her on the phone, we bickered a bit bc i still wasn't a big fan. i liked the song, but it was nothing to gush over. anyway, when i was done, I went looking for more to watch, so I scrolled down and chose from the videos on the side (i'm sure you know those) and i saw a nasty thumbnail with 2 boys (you could barely see their faces, but i immediately recognized the guitar in the background and that intrigued me) in it with a title of Rolling In The Deep - 5 Seconds of Summer (cover) curiosity took over and i clicked the video. i noticed luke first and i though he was cute, then i noticed calum, and i kinda fell for him bc he could play the guitar and i thought that was cool. needless to say, i watched until the end, and i was hooked. i went to their youtube and i watched all the videos they had. that's when i was introduced to michael and ashton, and i was naturally drawn to michael for whatever reason. i stayed update with their music and stuff and i've been here ever since i watched that cover video in 2012💖😁...andddd breathe😅
