The rest of the day was a total mess. Mom came at the hospital. I think Norah either out of fear or just normal girly caution, must have called her using my phone.

In a matter of seconds, I had to explain what had got into me to start 'wandering off into the streets, and meeting random strangers.' Since when did I have the guts to start dating...."He's not feeling well. He needs rest and you seem to be stressing him the more." Thanks doctor Charles.

"Doctor, he's my son. I have every right to talk to him however I want.""Ma'am, I don't think you read the hospital manual...Ma'am!" Thanks Doctor Charles, my head was hurting but I could make out the pair moving out.

"You are gonna face it rough. You and this hospital are gonna face it rough!" My 'mom' said before storming out of the hospital door. Norah was seated next to my bedstand.

"She's such a rude mom." She started."I guess?""What did you do to her? I mean, she can't be so rude when you're in such pain.""Ask her for me Norah!" I retorted, "By the way, it's awesome you're by my side."

"Yeah. And it's just our first getting to know each other!" She beamed with a smile on her face. "I think our meeting each other wasn't a mistake after all!"

Although she wasn't the girl I was looking for, the simple fact that she had given her all was enough."Can I hug you?" I said gently, as she silently nodded.
