Bad Uncle
Back in the days after my internship to Montero High School, my sister Jenny had this weird trip to Moscow.
So, by all accords I was staying home with mom for the next three months.
If it wasn’t for dad, I would’ve been already a home runaway kid.
It happens a lot in my place.
Last year, three kids were found in the woods, all by themselves.
And no one ever even did something about it. Like the whole police force is just there seated on their butts as children run away from home.
What would they do?
Well, in the least, they could maybe follow up the kid’s parents or something.
I’m not a cop but yeah, at least, as long as they do something about it, L’ll be happy.
Jenny left with a stockpile of clothes, giving me the impression she was to come in late April, five months.
When I tried asking her, she hesitated and I knew why.
Going to this tour was never her plan. Guess who but Uncle Timothy that had set the whole thing up.
Lucky for me, he hadn’t given me anything like “Come on my dear, come for the trip, too!”
Probably due to the fact that, I stopped replying his phony messages.
Dad hated speaking about it and until now, it just gives me goosebumps to know that Jenny had some phony deal with him.
Thus guy or uncle or whatever they called him, was definitely not the right guy to hang out with.
