"No matter how much it hurts, every day I practiced. Trying to get used to spending a day as if it's nothing.
I don't think I can forget you anyway."

Jaejin woke up early and jumped out of the bed. He remembered about his friend and ran out of his room.

"Hyung!" he yelled, as he barged into Hongki's room, earning a grunt from the older guy.

Jaejin jumped on the bed next to Hongki and shook his moodiness out of him.

"Hyung! How did you know about the audition?" Jaejin chirped.

"I just did." was all Hongki said.

"Hyung, tell me!"

"Why are you so loud?" Hongki snuggled into his covers, but Jaejin pulled them off him.

"Hyung how did you know I was going to be recruited? I'm going to be an artist hyung!" He shouted excitedly and danced on Hongki's bed.

Hongki felt slightly annoyed, but he couldn't blame his friend. Jaejin had waited all his life for this opportunity.

"Get out. I want to wash up." Hongki said, getting up from his bed.

"Hyung I am so happy. I will treat you dinner." Jaejin laughed, still jumping on his friend's bed.

"I get it, now get out. Don't you have contracts to sign today?"

"Oh, right, I'm late." Jaejin rushed to the door. "Wait, how did you know hyung?"

"I guessed right." Hongki answered, hoping Jaejin wouldn't ask more, and luckily he didn't.

Jaejin nodded and ran out, yelling, "I'll see you again hyung!"

"Good morning."

Seolhyun looked up from her book. "Ah, Hongki-ssi, you're here. Good morning. Please come in."

Hongki walked into the studio with a big smile. He reached where Seolhyun was standing and pulled out a bouquet of flower from his back. "For you."

"Thank you. I'll put this in a vase. Please have a seat." She said, and off to find a vase for her flowers. After she was done placing the vase of fresh flowers, she returned to the coffee table where Hongki sat waiting for her.

"Coffee or tea?" She asked.

Hongki looked up and smiled. "Coffee, please."

"Okay." She smiled back and went to the kitchen. A few minutes after, she walked out holding a tray of hot coffee in a pot and two cups.

She poured coffee into Hongki's cup first, as Hongki's eyes roamed through the interior of the room. It was just like how he remembered it. A poster stuck on the wall caught his eyes and his smile faltered a little.

It was a poster of the upcoming dance audition.

Seolhyun put the filled cup on the saucer in front of him and continued to fill hers. When she was finished, Hongki scooped a cube of sugar and put it inside her cup.

She was really surprised, and she couldn't help but to look at him in astonishment.

Hongki was really flustered. He added the sugar into her cup naturally like he had been doing it for a long time. They were together for a short matter of time, but he remembered everything about her, even the little things, like how many sugar cubes she would like in her coffee.

In an attempt to cover his act, Hongki reached out for his cup and sipped a big gulp on his coffee, not knowing that it was hot. As soon as the hot liquid touched his tongue, he spluttered. The hot coffee scalded his tongue and throat.

"Ah, hot." He mumbled, swallowing on his saliva to cool down his throat.

Seolhyun chuckled. "How did you know? The sugar.."

Hongki smiled awkwardly, making a mental note to be careful. This time he made sure to blow his coffee.

"So, are you a dancer?" Hongki asked, pointing to the poster.

Seolhyun turned around to see what he was pointing at and smiled shyly. "Yes, that will be my first audition. I am really nervous because I don't think I am good enough. That's why I often go to pray."

"Nah, I think you'll do great. You dances effortlessly." Hongki blurted and immediately regretted it. Seolhyun was watching him wide eyed, like he had just revealed the biggest secret.

Who wouldn't be surprised if a someone who you just met said something about you like he knew you for a long time?

'I did it again.' He thought.

"So are you going to pray today too?" He asked, desperately wanting to change the topic.

Seolhyun smile widened as she nodded. "I'm going after this. You want to come, Hongki-ssi?"

Hongki almost chocked on his coffee. "Can I? Really?"

The girl in front of him smiled and nodded.

"You can go first. I'll park and come later." Hongki said, as he dropped her in front of the church and turned his car around to the parking lot. After he parked his car, he went to the bumper and took out an umbrella.

He sucked a sharp breath as he walked into the huge church. It was just a few days ago that he went to that church to pray for the last time for his dead lover and now he was there again with her.

It was very quiet in the church. There was only a couple of people who prayed in there, maybe because it was working hour. He found her sitting far at the front. He quietly slipped into the seat next to her and made the sign of cross. He prayed for a while, so that she would live longer, and so that their relationship would last on forever.

He wasn't that religious type of person, but if she believe he know he will too.

When he finished, she was still praying. Eyes closed and hands clasped together with a rosary between them. He studied her features from where he was sitting. Her calm expression as she talked to God, and the way her eyebrows would move a little as if she found something interesting.

He only realized how much he loved her when he heard about her death. He went crazy and even cursed the doctors for not being able to save her. It was then he knew she meant the world to him, and that he would do anything to get her back and tell her the three special words.

He knew he would give away his life in exchange for hers.

Just then Seolhyun opened her eyes and made the sign of cross quietly. She turned to her side and caught Hongki staring at her. He turned around abruptly and coughed.

Seolhyun smiled. Was it weird to think a man you just met cute?

"Have you prayed, Hongki-ssi?" She asked.

Hongki nodded.

She exhaled and looked to the front. "This is so nice. I liked it here."

He turned to her and practiced the words he thought about before he met her that morning. It was very easy to say it out loud when she wasn't anywhere near him. Balling on his fists, he asked for a strength from heavens and cleared his throat.

"Seolhyun-ssi.."

"Hm?"

"I know it's too soon.. But, would you go out with me?"

Seolhyun's heart stopped beating. They just met, and it was against her stance to go out with a guy she just met, but she won't ignore the fact that she felt the pull when she's with him.

"Um.."

Hongki stared at her as she tried to find a word to say and immediately thought that she was rejecting him. Right, what was he thinking? They just met yesterday! Just because he saved her, it didn't mean she want to go out with him.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. Please ignore that. Ah, it's embarrassing. You don't have to think about it."

"But Hongki-ssi, I was going to say yes."

"I know you must think I'm crazy now..." he blabbered again, and then stopped to turn at the girl. "Wait, you said yes?"

Seolhyun nodded. Hongki felt the excitements rose to his throat.

"How about tomorrow?"

"I have dance classes tomorrow, and the next day." She pouted, and Hongki felt happy inside.

"The day after that?"

"Friday? Sounds perfect."

"Friday it is then. So it's a date?"

She chuckled and nodded. "I think it is."
"Can't wait. Shall we go now?" He held out his hand. She took his hand and stood up.

They were outside of the church now, and Seolhyun noticed the umbrella on Hongki's hand.

"It's not going to rain today. Why did you bring the umbrella?"

He smiled and walked a few step before stopping to look on his watch.

"Wait." He said and opened the umbrella. He then wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him.

Then the rain poured down.

Seolhyun was pretty shocked. She was surprised that he knew a lot of things that people usually didn't know. She knew she should be freaking out right now, but everything about him excites her. The curiosity built inside her. He mesmerized her, and she knew her life will change the second he saved her from the reckless driver.

Little did she know that he had already went through time to change everything.

It was dark, and the road was starting to be deserted. Hongki reached the zebra crossing where he saved Seolhyun from being hit yesterday. He pulled out the article which he tore from the news yesterday and stared at it.

In his mind, he made a promise to change the fate, once and for all.
