Your boyfriend Mingyu has been asking you to dinner for the past two weeks but something would always come up that prevents the two of you to spend some alone time. You had to babysit your twin siblings. Your mom had planned on hiring someone to take care of them for the weekend but you didn't trust strangers around your younger sisters. Mingyu understood and even offered to help you to take care of them.

"No. I doubt you'd be able to handle them", you chuckled.

"What? You think I can't handle babysitting?", he asked.

"No I think you can. But taking care of twins who are very hyperactive is hard. They sometimes listen to me but they can be a handful", you said.

"It's fine. I bet they'll love me", he smiled, hugging you.

You rolled your eyes and grabbed his hand to continue walking towards your building. When you entered the apartment, your sisters quickly embraced you in a hug which followed with hugging each of your legs. As soon as they saw Mingyu, they hid behind you.

"Mingyu, this is Ha Eun and Ha Rin. They're a bit shy when meeting someone", you said, glancing down at both of your sisters.

He crouched and smiled softly, waving at them.

"It's okay. I'm nice. I'm gonna help your sister take care of you. We'll have lots of fun", he said.

Ha Eun was the first to push herself off of you and stand in front of him. She smiled as Mingyu shook her hand. Ha Rin then walked over to him and waved.

"Mom, I'm home", you said as you looked for her.

Mingyu sat down on the couch along with Ha Eun and Ha Rin following. Your mom grabbed her suitcase and said goodbye to all of you.

"What's wrong with your hair?", Ha Rin asked, tilting her head.

"It looks like where birds sleep", Ha Eun said, causing her sister to giggle.

Mingyu touched his hair and wondered what was wrong with it. You tried not to laugh so to prevent you from doing so, you turned away and headed towards the kitchen.

"Are you guys hungry?", you asked, looking inside the fridge.

"I'm not", Ha Rin said.

"I am", Ha Eun said, raising her hand.

Ha Rin looked at her and then raised her hand while saying she's hungry as well. While you prepared the sandwiches for them, they played with Mingyu. You watched as they chased him around the living room. You're surprised that Ha Rin is actually open and active around him. She usually hides behind the couch for a while until she gets used to it.

"I want a piggyback ride", Ha Rin said.

"No I want a piggyback ride", Ha Eun said, slightly pushing Ha Rin out of the way.

Ha Rin got frustrated and pushed her back, causing Ha Eun to fall back and cry. You glanced up and was about to walk over but Mingyu helped her up and had a talk with both of them.

"Its not nice to push others. Ha Rin, how did you feel when Ha Eun pushed you?", he asked, crouching down so he'll be at their level.

"Mad", Ha Rina answered, pouting while looking at the floor.

"And Ha Eun, how did you feel when Ha Rin pushed you?", he asked.

"Upset", she answered.

"Okay so why would you push each other when you know it'll make someone sad or upset? Violence is never the answer. You'll get more friends if you're nice. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Understand?", he said.

They both nodded.

"Okay. Now I think two cute little girls owe each other apologies. Do you know who?", he asked.

Ha Eun knew her sister never likes apologizing first so she turned to face her and gave her a hug while saying sorry. Ha Rin apologizes back and hugged her.

"Great we're all friends again", Mingyu smiled.

"Ha Rin can go first", Ha Eun said.

She looked at her sister and then Mingyu. He made sure it was okay with her before he gave her sister a piggyback ride. When she said it was okay, Ha Rin climbed onto his back, laughing as he slowly hopped. Ha Eun was still having fun as long as neither of them were feeling sad.

For some reason, your cheeks were burning. Watching how Mingyu took care of the situation between your sisters caused your heart to beat very fast. You noticed you were staring too long so you shook your head and continued with the sandwiches.

"Your food is done", you said, placing the plates on the kitchen table.

"Food is ready. Time to wash our hands", Mingyu said.

Ha Eun and Ha Rin both groaned while walking towards the bathroom. He watched as they washed their hand while you were in the kitchen serving them apple juice. The slipped towards the kitchen and sat down before eating. Mingyu came in, placing an arm around you while they ate their food.

"Still think I can't handle them?", he smirked.

"Just wait until night time", you chuckled.

The girls changed into their pjs but weren't tired so they began to chase each other. Mingyu tried getting their attention but they weren't listening. You smirked and enjoyed at how he was failing. He carried Ha Rin but Ha Eun was running around him in circles.

"It's time for bed", he said.

"But I wanna keep playing", Ha Eun said while her sister giggled in his arms.

"I know you do but it's bed time. We can play more tomorrow. What if I take you guys to the park tomorrow? It's more fun", he suggested.

"Ooooh I wanna go to the park!", Ha Eun said.

"Me too!", Ha Rin said.

"Okay, go to bed and I'll be right there to tell you a story", he smiled, putting Ha Rin down.

They both ran to their beds while giggling. Mingyu looked over at you with a smirk on his face.

"Beginners luck", you stuck your tongue out at him and walked towards your bedroom to change into something more comfortable.

Mingyu kneeled down near the beds and thought what story to tell.

"How did you and (y/n) meet?", Ha Rin asked.

"Really? You wanna know?", he chuckled.

"Yes", Ha Eun said.

"Okay. Well I work in a very serious business. (Y/n) was just an intern there. Every time I would see her, she would be working hard which I admired. But every time I talked to her, she would stutter and become very shy. I had a feeling she had a crush on me so I kept teasing her for weeks until one day I ask her out to dinner. She got pale and froze. She was cute. Anyways, she became more open with herself as we talked. I knew a lot more about her and instantly knew that I wanted to keep seeing her. About two weeks later I asked her to be my girlfriend. Of course, she fainted and made sure she didn't hurt herself but I had my answer then and there. I'm happy with her", he smiled to himself.

"Do you love her?", Ha Rin asked.

That's the question he always asks himself even though he knew already. He smiled before looking up at them.

"With all of my heart", he said.

Ha Rin smiled and snuggled herself against her blankets, yawning as she felt her eyes become heavy.

"Do you think you can take care of (y/n)? I want to see her happy. Her other boyfriend was mean to her. I like you though", Ha Eun said.

Mingyu frowned for a bit, remembering what you said about your ex boyfriend but the smiled as he nodded. He tucked them in and walked towards your bedroom to find you brushing your hair in front of the vanity mirror. As soon as you saw him, you smiled.

"They're asleep", he said.

"Really? Wow, you're lucky. Maybe I should invite you every time I babysit that way you can put them to bed", you said, walking towards him.

Mingyu placed his hands on your waist and stared at you, making you feel weird.

"Are you okay?", you asked.

"Yeah, I'm great", he smiled down you.

"Really? You're not getting sick are you?", you asked, placing your hand on his forehead to see if he had a fever.

"(Y/n), I love you", he said.

You blinked a few times, trying to process what he said. The seriousness on his face tells you that he's not joking.

"You know, I'd feel better if you say something", he chuckled awkwardly.

"Mingyu...of course I love you too. It's obvious I do", you said, wrapping your arms around him.

He pulled you in closer and nuzzled his faced on the crook of your neck, taking in your scent. He sighed and pulled away from you after what seemed like hours. He kept his eyes on you all while caressing your cheek.

"Thanks for today Mingyu. You really helped me out", you said.

"Anything for you."
