Jun
"Come on (y/n). Pick up", Jun was becoming patient as (y/n) wouldn't answer her phone.
After finding out the news about the incident at the party she went to last night, he instantly tried to contact her.
The guy that she likes- or liked- invited her to a party and as happy as she was, she accepted it. Jin wasn't there to witness anything but a friend of his told him that her crush tricked her when they were playing a game of truth or dare. One of the guy's friends dared her to kiss him which she was nervous about but wanted to on the inside. She had her eyes closed and thought she was gonna kiss him but ended up kissing a dead fish. Although everyone else laughed around her, she found it humiliating, causing her to break down in tears. She ran all the way home and hasn't talked to anyone since.
Jun was really worried about her, so much that he skipped school to go talk to her. Since his car broke down, he had to run, not patient enough to wait for the bus. It took him about twenty minutes to arrive at her house. Once he did, he knocked on the door, calling out for her.
Her mom answered the door and smiled at Jun while her small poodle curiously smelled his shoes.
"Hi Mrs. (y/l/n), is (y/n) home?", he asked, peeking inside.
"Yes but she's in her room. Come on in", she stood aside so he can pass.
"She locked herself in her room. She doesn't wanna talk to anyone. She's really upset", her mom said.
"I'll see if I can convince her", he said.
Jun walked upstairs and towards the door of her room. He softly knocked and pressed his ear against the door.
"(Y/n)? It's me, Jun", he said.
He can hear soft sniffles. He knew it was gonna take a while so he sat down on the ground and leaned against the door.
"You don't have to open the door (y/n). I'll be waiting out here until you're ready to talk", Jun said.
(Y/n) was on her bed, covering her head with the soft purple blanket. Hearing Jun's voice only made her cry even more, eyes tightening shut as tears stained the pillow. She felt embarrassed and humiliated.
About an hour later, (y/n) had stopped crying. She glanced at the door and wondered if Jun was still there. She removed the blanket from her body, getting out of bed. The squeaking sound of her bunny slippers can be heard through the room. Once she was close to the door, she kneeled down and bent forward to see under the space of the door. She can see a shadow, meaning he was there.
"Jun?", she called out.
"(Y/n)? Are you okay? Do you need something?", he asked.
"...no", she answered, sighing softly as she leaned against the door.
The silence in the air made it obvious she was still upset. He tried thinking of a way to cheer her up.
"(Y/n), that guy is a jerk. Want me to go kick his ass?", he asked.
"..no. You're gonna get hurt", she mumbled.
"Are you saying I can't take him?", he asked.
"...well..you're tall but skinny. He weighs more than you because he's in the football team. They need to be fit", she said.
"I'm not sure if I should find that offensive", he said.
She let out a soft chuckle, making Jun smile.
"Can you open the door now? I wanna cheer you up", he said.
"...do you think he did that because I'm not as pretty as the other girls?", she asked.
"What? No way. Like I said, that guy is a jerk", he said.
"Do you think it's my nose? Should I get a nose job? Or...bigger boobs?...it's like my body is unbalanced in some places", she continued as she rested her chin on her knees.
"(Y/n) you don't need any of that. Your body is fine. You don't need to change anything. The only thing that is missing is that guy's brain. He doesn't understand what an amazing person you are. Just because you change something on the outside doesn't mean you'll be happy. You'll find someone worth your time, I promise", he said.
"...I don't know", she mumbled.
"I think I know what you need. You need some cuddles. Come on (y/n), you know how my cuddles always makes you happy. Open the door", he said, hoping she'll listen.
After a few seconds of silence, (y/n) unlocked her bedroom door and headed towards her bed, hiding under the blankets. Jun shook his head and took off his sweater, placing it on the fluffy chair. He sat down on the bed and placed his legs under the blanket, scooting closer to (y/n).
"Cuddles are for two people (y/n)", Jun said, noticing she was facing the other way.
She slowly turned and dug her face against his chest so he won't see her crying. Her arm was over his torso while her right leg went over his legs. He pulled her closer, putting his arms around her.
"Seriously, I can go kick his ass right now", he said.
She shook her head lightly.
"Why not? Remember what you did when my ex girlfriend cheated on me? You kicked her ass which I disapproved of-"
"Because you said violence is never the answer", she said.
"...okay you're right but that guy deserves it. I don't see what girls see in him when they know he acts that way", Jun said, shaking his head.
"I didn't know. I thought he liked me. One of his friends told me he did. I guess they decided it would be funny to joke around", she said.
Jun thought about changing the subject so she wouldn't be more upset.
"You know what sounds good right now? Food. Let's go get something to eat", he said.
"Not hungry", she mumbled.
"Not hun- What?? You never turn down food. Especially when I'm paying", he said, eyes a bit wide.
She glanced up at him and was a bit more interested.
"You're paying?...well...I don't mind eating a burger", she said.
He chuckled and patted her back. Her poodle, bear, jumped onto the bed and settled himself down between the two of them.
"He loves cuddles too", she said, petting the poodle.
"Do you feel better now?", Jun asked.
"A little bit. Thanks for coming over. You are the bestest friend in the entire world", she smiled.
"That is my title. Don't wear it out", he said, smiling cockily.
She sat up and stretched, rubbing her eyes from all the crying.
"I guess we should get going to school right?", she asked.
He sat up and raised an eyebrow, surprised she would say that when she's always the one preferring to skip school.
"And face him? Do you think that's a good idea? I just got you to stop crying", Jun said.
"Well then what should we do?", she asked.
Both of them stayed quiet as they thought. Her eyes were looking at Bear who was sleeping quietly near her legs. Jun looked at her and noticed how red and puffy her eyes were.
"We can sleep. They say after crying, sleeping helps because then you'll feel refreshed", he said.
"But I always wake up with less energy. I just feel more tired", she said.
"Hush child, we are sleeping. Now come here", he laid back and extended his arms forward.
She rolled her eyes and placed herself close to his side, resting her head on his arm. He closed his eyes while she kept staring at the fan on the ceiling. After a few seconds she could hear Jun's light snores. She tried not to laugh while she looked at him.
Even though Jun was asleep, he can feel someone staring at him. He opened one eye and made contact with (y/n).
"You're snoring", she giggled.
"Am I loud?", he asked.
She shook her head and closed her eyes so she can fall asleep. Jun admired her sleeping face for a few seconds, thinking about how stupid the guy can be for treating her like that when she did nothing wrong. Closing his eyes, he snuggled himself closer to her, falling into a deep sleep.
