You woke up with a huge headache. As you sat up, you examined the unfamiliar room. You gasped and looked under the blankets. You were wearing a big shirt that wasn't yours, plus you weren't wearing any pants.

"What the hell happened last night?", you asked yourself as you held your head.

"Hey, got something for you", Joshua smiled as he entered the room.

He placed a tray of food in front of you and sat down. Your eyebrow was raised the whole time.

"Um..did we...did something happen last night? I don't remember anything", you said.

"Yeah something did happen", he said.

"Oh great. I lose my virginity and I don't even remember. And here I thought it was gonna be romantic and special and-"

"Wait Wait Wait. Nothing happened between us. Although what you did was...something no one has ever done while being around me", he said.

"What? What did I do?", you asked.

"Well you fell asleep when we were waiting for the rain to stop so I carried you home to my house. Then I went out to buy some food but when I came back, you seemed to have found my friends stash. You were too drunk. My friends were there with you and they were drunk too. You started stripping. That's when I carried you in here. I helped you put on that shirt but when I tried to put some sweats on you, you kicked me and said that you didn't want that so I just left you the way you were. Then you started babbling some things that I don't feel comfortable repeating. I was gonna leave to let you sleep but you wanted me to stay in here...so I did. You were talking about how much you like me. You talked and I listened until you fell asleep. Don't worry I didn't sleep in here. I felt like when you woke up, you wouldn't feel comfortable", he said.

You groaned and covered your face with your hands. You've never been so embarrassed in your life.

"I'm so sorry Joshua. Gosh I feel so stupid", you pouted as you stared at the ceiling.

"(Y/n), it's okay. They shouldn't have let you drink a lot in the first place. Anyways, eat and rest up. If you're up for it, maybe we can go to a firework show later tonight?", he asked.

"Like...like a date?", you asked.

"Yeah. Since we couldn't really go for coffee, I think that should work", he said.

"Yeah. I'd love to go", you smiled.

"Hey some party last night right?"

One of Joshua's friends smirked at you as he passed by. Joshua smacked him behind the head and told them to stop. He was scolding his friends while you stood behind him, embarrassed. Luckily the clothes Joshua let you wear covered your body. The clothes you were wearing last night showed a bit of skin.

You excused yourself to use the bathroom and took your phone out to call your friend.

"(Y/n)?? Oh my god tell me everything that happened! Joshua called me saying you were gonna stay there with him. Did something happen?? Did you kiss him?? Did you did something more?? Oh my gosh I'm so proud of you!"

"Calm down nothing happened. I just got too drunk. Anyways, I won't be back until later today. Maybe around 10", you said.

"So you're hanging out with him the whole day?? So cute!! You better tell me all the details when you come back. Bye!"

After talking to your friend, you went back to where Joshua was sitting. You sat down next to him and glanced at his friends.

"Come on, I wanna take you some where", Joshua said before grabbing my hand and pulled you up.

"What is this place?", you asked.

"It's my secret spot. I always come here to play my guitar. It's always quiet here so I'm always relaxed", he said.

Joshua took you to a hill near the mountains. You can see the whole city. Joshua placed his guitar in front of him and began to play. You were quite mesmerized by him playing that you didn't notice him staring at you.

"Wanna try?", he asked.

"I don't know how to play guitar", you said.

"It's easy. I'll show you", he put the guitar in front of you and helped you place your fingers on the right spot.

He sat behind you and watched over your shoulder as you strummed the guitar. You tried a few times but failed. You were having fun though.

"I'm not as good as you", you said.

"That's okay. I bet you're great at other things", he smiled.

You carefully put the guitar down and turned around to face him but you blushed as soon as his face was close to yours.

"The fireworks will be starting soon", he whispered.

You cleared your throat and looked away but his hand lightly grabbed your chin to prevent you from doing so. After looking into yours for what seemed like hours, he smiled and moved his focus back onto the city. 

It was getting dark. Joshua was still sitting behind you. Normally you'd feel nervous and uncomfortable but you feel the complete opposite. Your back was resting on his chest. You can hear him chuckling.

"What?", you asked.

"Nothing..I just never thought I'd be here with you. I'm having fun", he said.

"Me too", you smiled up at him.

A few moments later, the fireworks have started. You were so amazed by all the colors. You can see more from where you two were.

When the fireworks were over, Joshua took you back home. You were walking hand in hand with him, a smile on your face as you passed by each house.

"I wanna hang out with you again. I mean, only if you want to", Joshua said.

"I do want to. I like hanging out with you", you said.

As you stood in front of your house that you shared with your friend, Joshua kept playing with your hands.

"I should..uh..go inside. It's getting cold", you said.

He took off his sweater and placed it around you.

"But you'll get cold", you said.

"It's okay. I've always wanted to give my sweater to the person I like. Plus, it suits you", he said.

"I'm already wearing your clothes though. By the way, I promise I'll wash them and give it to you soon", you said.

"No need. You can keep that too", he smiled.

"You've already done too much. I embarrassed myself and you helped me from it getting worse. You let me borrow your clothes and you brought food. I can't possibly keep your shirt, sweatpants, and sweate-", he cut you off by pressing his lips against yours.

When he pulled away, a small smirk formed on his face as soon as he saw your reaction. He slowly kissed your cheek and kept his close distance.

"Seriously. Keep it. I want you to have it. That way you can always be thinking of me. Goodnight (y/n). I'll see you soon", he smiled.

You blushed and headed inside the house. You leaned against the door and felt your heart racing.

"(Y/n)! You're back! How'd it go?? Did you kiss?? Tell me everything!", your friend yelled excitedly as she shook you.

You were too into a trance to even bother answering her questions. You couldn't wait until you see Joshua again.
