You've been driving for almost three hours already. Your back was hurting and you were getting a bit hungry so you decided to stop for a break. While parking your car behind a fast food place, you heard weird breathing. Hand shaking as you turned off the engine, you were about to turn around but didn't get the chance as you felt a hand cover your mouth, a small cloth in between. You tried not to breath but as how startled you were, you couldn't. You fell unconscious a few seconds later.

When you woke up, your hands and feet were tied up with rope. You spent a few seconds trying to set yourself free but froze when you heard voices across from you. Lifting your head up, you noticed the same two men from yesterday along with one you don't recognize.

"Well, you're awake", the unfamiliar man said.

His eyes were grey, much different than the other two and Jeonghan. His jet black hair was flipped back, giving him a more scary and prominent look.

"W-Where am I?", you asked, looking around the room.

"You don't need to know that", the man said, walking towards you.

He grabbed a chunk of your hair and pulled your head to the side, noticing the two small punctures you had on your neck.

"You weren't supposed to bite her you idiot", the man said, faxing the other two.

"We didn't. We were going to until her boyfriend showed. Anyways, where is he? It's been an hour already", one of them said.

The man with grey eyes leaned down to be inches away from your face, placing his hand under your chin. You were too afraid to move.

"Where is he?", he asked.

"I don't know. I swear", you said.

He looked at you for a few seconds before roughly pushing your face away. He went back towards the other men and whispered something to them.

One of his men went towards you, circling around you while deciding what to do. The other man tried to control himself as he imagined how delicious your blood would taste, although he knew he couldn't touch you without having his boss tear him into pieces.

The man who was walking around you and glanced at your neck. He smirked and roughly pulled your head back, causing you to hiss in pain.

"Maybe your little boyfriend doesn't care about you at all. I mean, if he did then why did he try to bite you?", he asked.

"He's not like any of you", you said.

He let go of your hair and stood in front of you.

"Hey boss, can I bite her? Maybe he can sense she's in trouble and will probably be here in less than a few seconds", the man asked, looking back at him.

"Hmm...didn't think about that. Fine, but you're not doing the biting. Let's see how her little boyfriend will handle watching her in pain with my venom", the boss smirked and headed towards you.

You tried pulling your hands and legs to loosen the rope but it didn't help. The man roughly pushed your head to the side and showed his fangs, leaning down as he aimed for your neck. He was inches away until he was pushed across the room.

As they predicted, Jeonghan stood in front of you, protecting you from the men. The boss chuckled evilly while standing up, fixing his shirt.

"Well look who it is, the one I've been looking for for years. Where have you been hiding my friend?", the boss asked while walking closer.

"What do you want?", Jeonghan asked.

"You know, at first I wanted you dead. Luckily those people killed your parents. They would be ashamed of you for wasting the powers that have been given to you. Half human and half vampire. Dangerous creatures. Apparently these hybrids are very strong, stronger than a whole vampire. Which is why I am proposing that you should join us. Do that and we'll free your girlfriend. The only issue you will have is you won't be able to see her again. So? What do you say? Do we have a deal?", the boss asked while his men stood behind him.

"No thanks. I'd rather be a mortal than join", Jeonghan said.

The boss tilted his head back as he laughed. He got closer to Jeonghan and stared at him.

Is he trying to kiss him or something?

The four of them looked back at you, giving you weird looks. You widened your eyes and awkwardly chuckled.

"You guys can read my mind..I forgot", you cleared your throat while moving uncomfortable y on the chair.

When Jeonghan turned back around, the boss grabbed him by the neck, choking him. Jeonghan held onto his wrist, trying to move away but he couldn't.

"I'm surprised. You had no problem pushing me out of the way. Although you didn't push me very far. Hmm..", the boss watched him carefully.

"You're not drinking blood, are you? To be strong as you're supposed to be, you need to have a balance on your diet. Too much of the other will either weaken you or make you go crazy. The brightness in your eye isn't as bright. Why have you around if you're not gonna do what you're supposed to to stay alive? You're useless. Maybe you do deserve to die", the boss smirked while tightening his grip on his neck.

"No! Don't kill him!", you yelled.

"Don't worry. Once I'm done with you, I'll take care of your little girlfriend for you", the boss continued smirking.

Jeonghan was getting mad. His eye turned bright red and his fangs were showing. He pushed the boss away from him and began to breathe heavily.

You can hear the other two men's low growls. The boss stood up and raised his hand in the air to them, preventing them from attacking.

"Ah, so that's what gets you angry. Interesting", the boss' smirk returned, glancing at the two men, motioning them to get near you.

Jeonghan turned around to get to you but the other men already blocked you.

"Last chance to join", the boss said.

"Your loss", the boss said.

One of the two men were about to bite you but Jeonghan pushed both of them away. The boss punched him, causing him to fall on the floor. For a few minutes, they tumbled around, hurting each other. You couldn't watch whenever Jeonghan got hurt but he would make it up by being 2x stronger. The boss was getting weaker by the second until Jeonghan tore off his head. The other two men froze and became nervous.

Jeonghan glared at them, causing them to run out of the room. He walked up to you and untied the rope before falling down on his knees. You held onto him as he felt weak to stand up.

Once you left the building, you notice your car parked out in the back. You helped him get into the passenger side before you got in the drivers side.

"Do you need anything?", you asked him.

"No. I just need to rest", he breathed out heavily.

You were about to turn on the engine but thought about what the boss said. He needs to have a balance of what he eats. You slowly glanced at him, noticing he looked parched.

"Forget about it. I'm not doing it", he said.

"What are you talking about?", you asked.

"I know you're thinking about letting me have some of your blood but it doesn't work that way. Once I start, I won't be able to stop. I don't trust myself", he said.

"I do", you said.

"No. I'm not doing it. Let's just go", he said.

"No", you said, crossing your arms over your chest.

"You're obviously weak and in need of blood. What if you die?", you asked.

"(Y/n), I've gone months without drinking blood. It's only been a few weeks since I've had any. I'll be fine", he chuckled.

"Are you sure? Because if you die and turn into dust, I'll kill you", you said.

He laughed and shook his head, biting his bottom lip as he looked at you.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?", you asked, feeling your cheeks turn red.

"You're cute", he smiled.

"...shut up", you mumbled while looking away, face turning red.

You turned the engine on and started driving.

"By the way, what are we gonna tell your family? We literally spent the whole weekend with vampires", you said.

"I'll tell them we needed to spend time with each other. You're my girlfriend after all right? I mean, that's what the guy said so", he shrugged his shoulders, trying not to smirk.

"If you keep saying that, I might crash...so stop it", you said.

He tried hiding his smile as he read what you were thinking.

"What?? You're a creep", you said.

"You said you can't believe you like a freakin vampire", he smiled cheekily.

"...why do I keep forgetting that you can read minds? I hate you", you mumbled.

"Mmm, no you don't. You like me and I like you. End of story", he smirked.

"I will turn this car around right now if you don't stop", you said.

"Whatever you say.....my girlfriend", he softly smirked while looking out the window.
