In the bustling corridors of Seoul university, someone quietly made his way back to the class.

"Junhui, you are here", his friends called him. He smiled making his way towards them. Keeping his back aside, he noticed his friends stare, "What's wrong? Why are you guys staring at me like that?".

"You remember what you said yesterday right?", Jihoon asked. He frowned, "What did I say yesterday? If I was drunk that time then I don't remember".

Soonyoung sighed, "You said you will confess to Y/N. You promised us that you would do it". Junhui looked at the desk right beside him, as usual it was empty, "I was drunk that time-"

"And that's not an excuse. You've liked her for 3 years. I think it's for you to confess", Wonwoo said. Junhui sighed, "She doesn't even look at me-"

"Shut up. You both are good friends since that project. I saw her staring at you like a creep for past few days. So that's not an excuse. Give another one", Jihoon interrupted.

"But what if she likes someone else, I think she does-"

"No, she doesn't have a boyfriend. She might have crush but there's nothing wrong in confessing", Soonyoung said.

Junhui glared at them, "You guys are so stubborn". The three looked at each other and nodded.

"I don't think it is the right time", Junhui murmured. Soonyoung sighed, "You said the same thing last year"

"And last to last year too", Wonwoo added. "Basically you say this whenever we ask you to confess", Jihoon said.

Junhui sighed, "Do you think I should?". The three head nodded immediately. "But I still don't think it is right time", Junhui said.

"So when do you think is the right time? When you see her kissing her boyfriend?", Soonyoung asked. Junhui shrugged.

"Good morning everyone", the excited voice echoed, "Morning Junhui", she said looking at them, "Morning Wonwoo, Jihoon and Soonyoung".

"When you said everyone, we were included in it too, Y/N. But you look excited", Jihoon said. Y/N gave a sheepish smile and nodded, "I'm planning to do something today and I hope it goes smoothly".

"What are planning though?", Soonyoung asked. "Suprise", Y/N said going out of the class, "I'll meet you later".

"What do you think her suprise is?", Wonwoo murmured. Junhui shrugged, "But I think she upto something crazy. The last time I saw her this excited was when she got Mr. Lim propose Ms. Cha".

"What if she planning about a new couple. Like she even made our lecturers a couple so students are nothing", Wonwoo murmured.

The class started and Y/N still wasn't here. He looked at her desk and sighed. "Okay students, let's take attendance", Mr. Lee said. As he took the attendance, Junhui anxiously waited for her to come, "If she doesn't come now then she will miss her attendance".

"Roll no. 76"

"Junhui, your number", Soonyoung nudged him. "Present sir", Junhui stood up. Mr. Lee looked at him, "Be attentive, Junhui". Junhui nodded sitting down.

"Roll no. 77"

The door burst opened, "Present sir. I'm here. Sorry for being late", Y/N said taking deep breaths.

"Hmm, you are late", Mr. Lee said. Y/N smiled sheepishly, "Let it go one time, please". Mr. Lee nodded, "Fine. Go and sit".

Y/N grinned sitting on her desk. "Where were you?", Junhui asked. She frowned, "Didn't I tell you before? Suprise? I was planning about that". Junhui sighed, "You are stubborn".

"My parents say that too", she chuckled. "My I know what your parents say, Ms. Y/N?", Mr. Lee asked. "All the best", Junhui murmured opening his book.

"We all are waiting, Y/N", Mr. Lee said, "Let us know too what your parents think about you".

She glanced at Junhui who was still staring at her. "Junhui, can you read from wherever I stopped?", Mr. Lee asked.

Junhui nodded, taking the book in his hand, only to realize he was holding his book upside down and Mr. Lee had already seen it.

"You are holding the book upside down, Junhui", Mr. Lee said. "Sorry sir", he murmured as Y/N stifled a laugh beside him.

"Both of you. Out of my class. Right now", Mr. Lee said.

"But sir–", Y/N started.

"No buts. Out", Mr. Lee firmly said.

The pair reluctantly gathered their things. As they walked out, Jihoon, Wonwoo and Soonyoung waved at them with wide grins on their face.

"One last chance-"

Y/N sighed closing the door behind her. Seeing Junhui walk away, she stopped him, "Where are you going? There's staff room".

"So?", he shrugged. Y/N sighed, "They will again ask us 100 questions about what we are doing out of our class".

"Right. So we can't go to canteen", Junhui said, "But where should we go now?".

"How about students fair? Let's go there. We have two hours to spend", Y/N said, "We have such a big campus. Why not just explore it if we get enough time".

"But what about your suprise?", Junhui asked. She smiled, "I've got some better options. Now let's go".

Junhui hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded, "Alright, let's go to students fair".

They made their way through the bustling campus, enjoying the warm sunlight and lively atmosphere. The students fair was in full swing with various booths, games and food stalls set up.

"Let's start with games", she suggested, pulling Junhui towards ring toss booth, "How about me winning you a prize? What do you want?".

Junhui smiled as he watched Y/N take the rings and tossing it around until it finally landed on an orange cat soft toy. She cheered as the vendor handed her the soft toy. "Here you go", she said giving the toy to Junhui.

Junhui chuckled taking the soft toy, "Thanks. Let's see if I can win something for you".

They spent their next hour playing around, eating snacks and exploring various booths. Y/N's outgoing nature brought out a more relaxed side of Junhui. He found himself enjoying the time with her more than he anticipated.

As they walked, they stumbled upon a photo booth. "Junhui, let's take some pictures", Y/N suggested pulling him inside, taking series of silly and fun photos, laughing at their expression.

As they waited for the pictures to print, a guy approached Y/N. "Hey, how are you? Met after a long time", he said shaking her hands. Y/N glanced at Junhui before smiling at the guy, "Right! We met after such a long time. How's everyone".

The guy smiled, "Everyone's fine. I need to go now. Bye". Y/N waved her hand waiting for him to go. After he went, Junhui, curious enough asked, "Who was he?".

Y/N shrugged, "I don't know. I've never met that guy before". He gaped, "So did you just act like you knew him?". She nodded.

"You look so cute in the pictures", she said causing him to blush. "You still haven't told me anything about your suprise. I'm curious", he whined.

Y/N giggled, sitting on a bench, "I'll but I'm thinking how will you react". Junhui frowned, "What do you mean?".

Y/N looked away, "Nothing just drink your coffee". Junhui nodded taking a sip of his coffee. "Okay, I'll be straight forward", Y/N said.

Junhui  kept sipping his coffee waiting for her to continue. "I like you, Junhui", Y/N said.

He immediately choked on his coffee, coughing and sputtering. Y/N's eyes widen in concern as she quickly grabbed a napkin for him. "Are you okay?".

After catching his breathe, Junhui finally looked up to her, "Y-You like me? Just as a friend or-"

"More than a friend", she quickly answered, "I've liked you for a while now but didn't knew how to tell you. So today I just decided to go for it".

He stared at her, processing her words. A slow smile spread across his face, "I can't believe this", he said, his voice soft, "I've liked you for so long but I never thought you'd feel the same way".

She grinned, "Really?". He nodded, "I was too scared to tell you thinking you might like someone".

Y/N held his hand, "How about we make it an official date? We can finish the fair and later-

"Dinner together?", he asked. Y/N nodded, "Yes! Loved the idea. Let's go".

As they continued to walk through the fair, hand in hand, both of them felt a new excitement and warmth. It was the start of something special, and they were both eager to see where it would lead.
