Nights Like These - Performance Team

It was time for your monthly Mario Cart tournament with the Hoshi, Dino, Jun, and Minghao. You five usually take turns, switching who's house you host this at. Tonight, it was Dino's turn to host. He had a decent sized, finished basement with a TV and gaming system that you could put the game in.

"Watch," Dino started while rolling his eyes, "Hoshi and Minghao are going to be the two facing in the end."

Out of all the tournaments that have happened, Hoshi and Minghao always end up being the top two who have to battle it out. It's almost like they've been training for this their whole life.

You were slumped over in a chair watching the finale of Hoshi and Minghao, yet again, going at it. Jun and Dino sat on the carpet next to you. It was so close, but Hoshi pulled through, taking number one.

"I say we grab something to eat," Jun brought up. Your stomaches all agreed.

Dino warned you guys not to make a mess since he doesn't want his parents to come home disappointed. Hoshi still wiped whipped cream onto your nose. You couldn't leave it like that, so you took some and smeared it across his face as well. Dino gasped, watching everyone just spraying whipped cream. Jun laughed, making the mistake of getting Dino this time.

Hoshi dropped the can of whipped cream, staring blankly at Dino's now covered face. Everyone was on edge, getting ready for the maknae to blow up. However, he only started to chuckle as he brushed it away from his eyes. All the others, including yourself, broke into laughter.

After cleaning up the whipped cream residue, you and the performance team retreated to the basement. It was movie time, and Dino had a big bookcase that was filled with different movies.

After a few minutes of small bickering over a movie to watch, you came up with a way to decide. You closed your eyes and selected a random case from the bookshelf. The decision had been made: a horror movie.

The five of you crowded onto the couch having to sandwich together, you in the middle. There was only one blanket downstairs, and the movie was already going. The group had to huddle together even closer so that the blanket could comfortingly stretch across your laps.

The group would gasp as things popped out, but would laugh about it right afterward. You felt warmer, not just physically, but mentally when around the four guys. Nights like these are always the best in your heart because it was quality time spent with those you enjoy to hang out with.
