They didn't mean to destroy Disney World.

It was all Natsu's doing, really. And, to be honest, it was only half of Disney World.

"Yet again," Lucy murmured, taking in the surrounding damage, "we have destroyed everything."

"You sound surprised," Gray said quietly, his hands shoved into the pockets of his tattered boxers. The two stood huddled together, watching nervously as police officers questioned a hyper (and handcuffed) Natsu. Erza stood nearby, firmly repeating a single answer, not daring to look away from the officers and the few Disney managers that had arrived on the scene.

It wasn't until Ultear Milkovich commented jokingly on the collapse of one of her "favorite roller coasters" that Lucy realized Crime Sorciere was still here.

Team Natsu and Crime Sorciere had joined forces just weeks earlier in an attempt to hunt down a violent gang of mages a few miles outside of Orlando. Traces of dark magic had led them near the border of the amusement park, and though they had managed to capture the villains, they had destroyed nearly everything in the process.

No civilians or tourists had been injured; Lucy didn't know how, but the odds, thankfully, always seemed to be in their favor.

"Hey, look, it's Gramps!" Gray exclaimed, causing heads to turn. "He'll sort everything out!"

Even Erza looked relieved. "Master, thank you for coming. These officers need insurance information and-"

"-tell them to get their dirty hands OFF of me!" Natsu wailed, attempting to inch his way toward the Fairy Tail guild master. "We saved the damn citizens of Orlando, and this is the thanks we get?"

From afar, Lucy heard the delicate laugh of Meredy. The blonde-haired girl's cheeks reddened as she realized what an embarrassment this incident was causing.

"Stand still, boy," Master Makarov said sharply. The chaos immediately dissipated among the Fairy Tail mages; this strict tone was one not normally used by the typically calm guild master.

"I apologize, officers. May I have a quick word with my kids?" he asked.

One of the officers bowed his head respectfully and allowed Makarov to take control.

"Listen carefully, for this will be the last time you hear me speak to you in a while," Makarov said, loud and clear. The four remained quiet. "There is more to job requests than saving lives and disbanding guilds. There is something called 'the unspoken rule' that you guys, in particular, haven't learned. I, as your teacher and master, seem to have failed in conveying this, it seems."

"Unspoken? Is it a secret?" Natsu asked.

Makarov looked as if he wanted to strangle the salmon-haired boy. "The unspoken rule is this- DON'T DESTROY THE DAMN CITY."

"Disney World isn't a city," Natsu pointed out. Erza smacked him across the head.

"Thank you, Erza." Makarov sighed. "We've had this conversation multiple times. You four have  a bad habit of getting carried away, and it needs to be fixed."

"But I didn't do anything," Lucy cried with frustration. "It's Natsu and Gray's fault!" It had also been Erza's fault, but Lucy didn't feel like being knocked out today.

"We apologize, Master, to you, and to the officers. And to the Disney managers and owner as well," Erza said mildly. "We will do anything to repent." Erza glanced at three Crime Sorciere wizards. "By us, I mean Fairy Tail; Crime Sorciere did nothing whatsoever and should be pardoned."

"Pardoned...again?" one of the officers muttered, glaring at Crime Sorciere. Lucy flinched; Crime Sorciere's recent pardon had not sat well with many people.

"We will take the punishment alongside Fairy Tail," spoke up Jellal.

"We will?" Ultear whispered, eyebrows raised.

"We will," he confirmed, eyes not straying from Makarov's. "They helped us on our mission, it is only fair we help them through their...mishaps."

"Perhaps you will influence Fairy Tail positively," Makarov agreed.

"Gramps, why go through all this trouble?" Gray groaned. "Just pay them whatever money they want and put this in the past!"

"You kids think money grows on trees? No. You are on your own this time!" The guild master began to walk away.

"Wait!" Lucy shouted. "You can't just leave us!" Natsu struggled against his bonds and even Erza looked alarmed; in short, they were screwed.

The officers turned back to the Fairy Tail mages.

"I'm broke!" Gray yelped.

"Me too!"

"I've got fish!" Happy cheered.

"Same! About the money, not the fish!"

Everyone turned to Erza.

"Hey, Erza...Don't you have a super big room back at Fairy Hills?" Lucy mentioned casually.

"N-No." Erza turned to the nearest officer determinedly. "We will work until we pay off what we have destroyed!"

"That'll take years," the officer scoffed. "No way will that-"

"We will have to speak with the owner and the rest of our board, but us managers have an idea," an older man in a suit said pleasantly.

"Go on," they said eagerly. Anything was better than paying money.

"Since Fairy Tail is a renowned guild, and, despite your destruction, you have done more good than bad...perhaps we can...lighten your punishment."

"Sounds good!" Natsu crowed. "What's the punishment? Working here for a day?"

"I agree with Flame Brain, that's a good punishment," added Gray. "though a day is a bit long. How about...ten hours?"

"Yeah, and including a lunch break!"

The manager chuckled. "Yes, yes, you will work here. For six months, though."

"WHAT."

"We will speak to the owner about it, but we'll get back to you tomorrow morning via phone call. Off you go, now!"

Stunned into silence, the seven mages and Happy departed.

Never again would they look at Disney World the same way.

Never again.
