Personality
Confident, cold, and constantly business-like, Scarlet is ruthless and only looks after her own interests. To no one's surprise, she is greedy, selfish, and very opposed to sharing any part of her success unless its with investors or those that deserve it... at least, that's how she tends to be perceived, and she allows that perception to exist. She'll do charity events, often saying its just to get attention and free press for the company and make her seem like a good person... but she does like to help, or as she likes to put it, "invest" in those that are less fortunate. Scarlet is greedy to the point that she makes sure her business is completely uncorrupted, as if it ever comes under investigation, she reasons that she'll get more out of it if she truly is running a legitimate show; plus it also makes it to where she can't be blackmailed (at least, not when it comes to her business). She is a self-made woman, a hardworking and vicious queen bee who strives for excellence and prosperity, but many of her employees speak of her highly due to how well she treats them (even if she is a bit imposing and unreadable at times). She isn't much of a people person, however she will remain cordial and patient and will never lose her cool in public... unless it comes to her family. She knows how to identify talent, her "diamonds in the rough," and makes sure that they have every reason to chose her over her competition any day (so long as they're not to greedy, they still have to be worth the resources Scarlet dedicates to them and turnout a profit for her).

Gemstone Generation & Manipulation- Scarlet can manifest gems from nowhere and can shape those or existing ones into whatever she wishes, namely in the form of a snake that devours her opponents. Depending on the purity/type of gem, she can also access other powers, though this ability takes a lot out of her and is most effective when she uses real gems/materials rather than ones she's conjured up. Scarlet can also manipulate metals, shaping them into whatever constructs she wants and controlling them; she typically uses this ability to turn her cane into a whip to make enemies keep their distance

Weapons
Two Nighthawk Custom Firehawks, one that she keeps hidden under her desk at work and the other that she keeps at home in her nightstand. She has a metallic cane that she can transform into a whip that when used can cut through flesh and most other materials due to how sharp it becomes

Background
Raised by a businessman father and a gold digging mother, Scarlet was groomed from day 1 to be a successful and powerful woman... if her older brother was to ever meet an untimely end. Sure she was raised to be ambitious, but no matter how much she proved herself her father refused to even consider her for taking over the family business. Scarlet would fight over the situation with him up until he had enough and cast her out of the family, leaving her only half a million dollars so that she wouldn't embarrass the family by being poor before going to the press to say that she would be taking a break from the corporate limelight after having fallen ill to a mysterious diagnosis. Seething but determined to make her father regret abandoning her, Scarlet took things into her own hands by going to college and eventually making her own company called Eve's Temptation, a makeup company that used organic and healthy ingredients that brings out the inner beauty in the wearer. Since then, her company has grown to be a world wide makeup and even fashion line that's critically acclaimed and praised. Seeing her success and how her brother had ended up ruining the family company, her family came to her looking to take over her company under the guise of merging the two companies together and making the family whole once again, which you can only guess what happened next. She pretty much disowned them, seeing them as unloyal and unfaithful vipers, as they only really started treating her as an equal when they saw her as a threat... though this left her feeling a whirlwind of emotions that she had thought she'd gotten over by now; pride that they were finally seeing her for who she is, disgust for how obvious they're trying to manipulate her, disappointment in herself for wanting their false affection to be true...

She holds onto grudges and is very distrustful of those around her. Her family is also a weakness because they are able to get under her skin very easily despite how much she tries to hide it

You're an Incarnation of Virtue, sent out by a mysterious organization to find and detain the Incarnation of Greed... however, you found it practically impossible to do so. As your virtue was Generosity, Greed's opposite, it should have been easy to track them down since the two of you would naturally seek the other out.
Seeing no real reason to go out and look for something you couldn't find, you just decided to focus on your career working as the head of a security firm. Your most recent client was Scarlet Ottiline, the CEO of a makeup company. You ended up becoming her personal guard, and while she certainly was a greedy individual, there was nothing inherently terrible about it. You actually admired her work ethic and the few charitable things she did always went to the right causes.
Over the years of working with her, you had met many of her family members and understood exactly why she detested them so much. You could see where she got her greedy tendencies from, but her family were on a whole different level. You even theorized that one of her siblings might have been the Sin you were looking for.
One night you were coming back to Scarlet's office, bearing coffee as you had just got back from the vacation Scarlet forced you to go on when you thought you sensed the aura of something evil before hearing a couple of gunshots, soon followed by a yell. You dropped the coffee and burst into Scarlet's office, expecting the worst before your eyes widened at the sight in front of you. Scarlet's sister Ruby was cowering on the floor, bullet holes surrounding her as Scarlet was seething behind her desk, one of the guns you had gifted her in her shaking hand as you could feel the presence of Greed being focused around Scarlet. The room was freezing cold, frost covering the windows behind Scarlet as it seemed to spread across the dark red carpet, and you could hear the sound of whispers and saw what seemed to be a towering shadow enveloping Scarlet, seemingly edging her on to kill her sister. You snapped into action, yelling at Ruby to get the hell out before running to Scarlet. Ruby scrambled to her feet before running, Scarlet swinging the gun to shoot at her before you stepped in the way, providing some cover for Ruby to escape. "Get out of the way, (Y/N)." Scarlet spoke, her voice shaking with barely controlled rage as her once crystal teal eyes were now a glimmering gold as she aimed the gun right at you heart, a hint of tears in her eyes while her hand was shaking as you realized she must be fighting for control.

You're an old friend of Scarlet's... well, that was the easiest answer. The two of you had actually grown up together, you being the kid of one of her father's business partners. You would go on to inherit your father's business while Scarlet decided to go her own way since her brother Chris ended up taking over for their father, not knowing the whole story since she neglected to fill you in. You hadn't heard much else from her since other than the fact that she was starting a business of her own.

Flashing back to the present, you were at a fashion show at the request of your current girlfriend who was the designer herself, you sitting alone as she was backstage making sure every look was ready. As you checked your watch, wishing it would start already, you noticed someone sit down next to you. You glanced over and your eyes widened as you recognized who it was. Without meaning to, you said her name, causing her to glance over and recognize you as well. "(Y/N), is that really you? I never thought I'd see you at one of these shows. I thought you weren't into the whole, how'd you put it, peacock displays that these things tend to be?" Levine asked dryly, but you knew she was just teasing you, the corner of her lips quirked up as she tried to hold back a smile.

You had heard rumors that people believed you were Scarlet's mystery fiance since you were the only one who spent a lot of time with her, even though you know that Scarlet had made up having a fiance to throw her spineless parents for a loop. One day you walked into her office only to see papers and her laptop thrown off her desk and scattered on the floor with some photos of what looked to be Scarlet doing rather incriminating things, her pacing the floor as she muttered to herself. When you asked her what was wrong, she growled in response. "Those damn vipers have gone too far, threatening that if I don't reveal my fiance they'll hand these photos to every major publishing company they know, and I know they have the right people in the back of their pockets to make those photos look real even though it fucking isn't, and even if I win a lawsuit against them my company's image will be in the eighth circle of hell. Either that or I give them half my company, and I'd sooner die than give them what I've built with my own two hands, so my only option is to bring put my fiance. But who can I trust to play the part?"
