Selayne is a very spur of the moment kind of individual and is prone to energy spikes, going from quiet and contemplative to intensely energetic at any moment (or if her interest has been suitably piqued). While her moods may change on the occasional whim, Selayne is generally composed and is known to be a very trustworthy individual. She is able to get inside the minds of others, almost like she can read their very thoughts and she either uses such information to help or hinder the individual. When conversing with those she's close to, if she has the chance she'll play the role of devil's advocate just to have some fun as she can easily see the pros and cons of any argument and just blindly going along has always felt a little too boring for her. She can be very blunt, but in times where its necessary she is more gentle and/or selective with the truth, often depending on the person she is speaking to and what kind of headspace they're in. She can also be very adamant in people taking responsibility for their actions as she herself does the same; she doesn't expect people to be better or worse than her, but since she treats them as her equal, they have to be held to the same level of accountability. Selayne has been known to call out people on their bs, regardless if they're a friend or total stranger. She has a hidden passionate side that only comes out every now and then, but it often peeks out in her passion for justice, whether it aligns with the laws of gods or man. She has a wide range of knowledge over various fields of study which throws people off sometimes because of how knowledgeable she is on any given topic yet lacking in others (yes it is inspired by the one where the guy knows who built Mt. Rushmore and why but has no idea where it is). Even if she doesn't know something, she can usually puzzle out the answer by herself using context clues, which delights her in all honesty... its like a fun little treasure hunt but for knowledge.

Weapons
She can conjure up just about any weapon through her hydrokinesis ability, including a bow and arrows, spear, and what can only be described as water rope(?). She also carries a normal gun, tazer, and handcuffs on her person when on the job

Background
Selayne is the only daughter of  renowned fortune teller Aisha Conway, known for being accurate with all her tellings and even having aided the police with their more strange and unusual cases, which is how she met Selayne's father, a detective by the name of Sinclair Fields. She decided to follow in her father's footsteps and became a detective, though she has also been trained by her mother in reading people and tarot. She found great success in the field and decided to start her own agency as she preferred being her own boss, though she does work with the local police as well... when she wants to, of course. Selayne and her parents are very close, however when Selayne discovered that she was an incarnation, she convinced them to go on vacation and explore the world so that they couldn't be used to get to her through them, as she'd do anything for her parents and wanted to make sure that they would be sage and happy... even if its not with her there with them.

Strengths
She is well trained in a multitude of different fighting and dancing styles, and is also trained in various weapons. She is also an expert swimmer and can swim very fast. Selayne can get inside the minds of anyone, whether it be criminals, total strangers, or even friends. She is incredibly observant and the reason why she seems able to predict the futures of people she does readings for so accurately is because of how good she is at reading people, not because of any magical ability. She is also able to magically hide her identity as a Virtue as well as the others if they ask her to.

Weaknesses
As a swan maiden hybrid, she wears a coat of feathers that give her access to her swan form, however if anyone happens to steal her jacket, they can exert a certain amount of control over her as they essentially have "clipped her wings," so to speak. It also ends up blocking her from being able to use many of her magical abilities and can make her more prone to getting sick or severely injured without access to her healing/regenerative powers. She is a bit guarded, unwilling to really let anyone in and keeping them at arm's length as she can't really find herself putting full trust in others, even the other virtues.

Family
Her parents are alive and well, they just live outside of the state and often go on romantic trips around the world together, both being happily retired but missing Selayne, often sending her a postcard from where they had visited before moving on to the next vacation location so they can't be traced as easily.

Other
She always smells faintly of incense, the scent a pleasant and soothing smell that is different for everyone, but always reminding them of happier times

She loves to dance and is often seen swaying her hips or nodding her head to a song only she can hear sometimes if its not obvious she has earbuds in or something else is playing music nearby.

She likes to give people bird nicknames, for example she calls Ariel by Caladrius, Michelle by Blue Jay, Gabby by Robin, Bernadette by Raven, etc.

You're an Incarnation of Sin, sent out by a mysterious organization to find and detain the Incarnation of Temperance... the only problem being that you couldn't sense them at all. As your sin was Gluttony, Temperance's opposite, it should have been easy to track them down since the two of you would naturally seek the other out, however it seemed that there was some divine power making it impossible for the two of you to meet. You did wonder about who it might be and if you'd be able to recognize them on sight or if it was just a proximity thing... but you figured you'd probably find out once you got close enough to them. You decided to seek out places that had a lot of divine energy around them, figuring that if their powers was making it hard to find them specifically, you could just track down the power you've been sensing rather than just purely looking for Temperance. While you were going from place to place, well, seeing as how Gluttony is the sin of over-indulgence of all things, you'd swipe some pretty valuable stuff after eating and drinking your fill... and after finding no trace of Temperance, of course. You were looking for them technically, you just got a little sidetracked with whatever would catch your eye along the way.

You would stumble upon a quiet town called Canterbury. You decided to check out the boring places first; after all, where else would a drag like someone all about temperance be? But since that turned up as a bust, you decided to hit the local bar. For a town that reeked of divinity, you couldn't really find any sign of Temperance specifically. As you were enjoying your time at the bar, a woman would end up sitting next to you. You glanced over at her, and for once in your life you were glad you weren't eating or drinking anything at the moment as your jaw dropped at the beautiful (but more importantly obviously rich because look at what she's wearing-) woman as she ordered a drink from the bartender. She must have sensed your gaze on her as she glanced over at you, a small smile on her lips. "Well hello there, you must be new in town, I'm guessing?" Her voice startling out of your thoughts. The rest of the night would go by in a blur as the two of you talked and flirted while continuing to order drinks, and you grew to really like Selayne (plus it wasn't often someone could go drink for drink with you, it was very impressive). She'd eventually invite you over to her place, and without thinking you said yes.

Skipping forward you arrived at her house, a small yet comfortable house suitable for a small family, though that wasn't really at the forefront of your mind as while the two of you were walking, both of you would get a little handsy and it was hard to really think of anything other than her touch on your body and her lips on your neck. It really seemed like Selayne totally matched your freak and she was your ideal type too, so it was a shame that after you showed her a good time tonight you were gonna swipe anything of monetary value from her house. After all, you were the Incarnation of a Sin, and you were pretty happy to fulfill that role. As soon as she closed the door to her home the two of you were on top of each other, pulling at clothes while your lips were locked in a passionate, heated kiss as she guided the two of you to her bedroom. She'd push you back into the bed as she broke the kiss, your body bouncing slightly on the mattress while she smirked at you as she caught her breath from the kiss. "You, you're pretty good at this~ almost makes me feel a little bad for this part." She said, and before you could register what she said you felt something wrap around your wrists and ankles, pinning you against the bed and tying your limbs to the posts. You struggled against them, asking what the hell was she up to when you suddenly felt it: the sign that Temperance was near. You stilled before glancing back at Selayne as you realized you've just been played. "I was almost hopping that hunch of mine was wrong, but I'm glad I went with hiding my status. You're not nearly as sneaky as you think, my darling Magpie~ to think you were also Gluttony's chosen. My, what a fantastic night this turned out to be~" she said with a light chuckle as your eyes widened. Leaving a card engraved with a magpie was your calling card whenever you swiped from galleries, as you were a fan of heist movies and you figured it'd be a fun side thing to do.
