Personality

To many, Belle is one of the most sweet, kind, and nurturing people around. She treates everyone with the same amount of kindness, and always happily greets visitors and friends with the same warm smile that makes one's worries melt away at the sight. She has a protective, almost mama bear side when it comes to her adopted daughter Alice and the other Sins. She hates to get involved with violence and only fights as a last resort, and even then her style is more focused on defense and using an opponent's momentum against themselves. Belle is able to think quickly on her feet and adapt to any situation, her momma sense often helping her with this as she has a natural sense of wisdom and foresight. She is often sought out for advice that she readily gives and is just a really good person to talk to, plus she'll usually help you de-stress with some of her culinary works of art that she calls "little treats". She enjoys trying new things and having new experiences, especially when it comes to the culinary arts, but also when it comes to activities and general fun stuff. She believes that being kind doesn't cost a thing and that its always better to treat someone with respect rather than trying to be rude or cruel for no reason. Despite coming off as a mature woman, she has her charmingly adorable moments that makes people smile and even want spoil her, though it is usually Belle that does the spoiling. She gives freely and believes no one should ever go to bed hungry, and so she usually helps organize and/or cater charity events to help aid in the effort to end hunger. She has a big appetite, one that she sometimes feels ashamed of as she feels self-conscious of how much she eats and how she never feels full; and so she tries her best to stay fit by working out to try and work off her perceived issues and also tries to make healthier dishes now and then when her inner voice becomes more negative and judgmental. When she does eventually get angry, she more so becomes cold and stern, with any of the warmth she's known for turning hard as steel rather than throwing a punch or shouting at people... and if she did ever slap someone across the face, its usually because they deserved it. She doesn't tolerate prejudices of any kind and is a supporter of many organizations and communities that call for love and acceptance.

Background
Raised in the restaurant business, Belle has been cooking and baking practically before she could even walk. She often played with her best friend Hazel who eventually moved in with her when Hazel's parents passed away in a strange house fire incident. She learned everything related to cooking and baking she could from her mother, who was the head chef of the family's restaurant, as well as everything relating to customer service from her father, who always ran front of house. She was even in the process of taking over the restaurant when she turned 20 before her parents were killed in a car accident. Unable to step foot in the restaurant without being reminded of them, Belle decided to sell the restaurant to a family friend and long time employee before eventually using the money she inherited and got from the sale to open her own bakery and cafe, Sweet Delights, at the age of 25. A year later, Belle was hired to cater for a charity function at an orphanage in a town nearby. It was there that she met an orphaned 11 year old girl named Jessamine, and her heart melted. As soon as she could, she adopted Jess and has been raising her as her very own daughter ever since.

Powers/Abilities
•Hallucinations- a power in which she can make people see and physically feel whatever she wants them to. This ability she often uses as a defense mechanism in order to throw opponents off guard long enough to escape. These hallucinations last roughly from 10-15 minutes.
•Green Thumb- Belle has some control over plants, mostly it's just helping them grow faster and taste fresher than making them be able to move and wrap around someone or anything like that... though there has been instances where it seems like nature has taken a liking to the woman, helping her out in unseen ways that she's never conscious of.
•Shield Maiden- she can invoke the use of an invisible bubble shield that repels magical attacks and that she can also use to knock out opponents by using the force the shield is made of and quickly expanding it to knock into her opponents.
•She's also an excellent cook, able to cook anything you can think of and more (even though she leans more towards desserts).
•Kickboxing Master
•Caloric Conversion- the ability to convert calories into power

Weapons
Outside of a sharp cooking knife, she has pepper spray. In a small town like the one she lives in, there's not really any cause for concern

Strengths
Her adaptability and wisdom often comes in handy. She shows no reaction to getting drunk except maybe getting more lovey-dovey and physically affectionate (though this is always in platonic ways). She can ingest poisons and drugs without suffering any ill side effects and can even know exactly what kind of poison it was and how to treat it, if possible (even if the poison is tasteless)

Weaknesses
She can be a little... distrustful, at times when her mama bear instincts or intuition takes over. She also very easily gets hungry and often needs to satisfy her hunger before it gets out of control. She is also still subject to poisons and drugs that come in the forms of injection or gas like anesthesia, though she recovers quicker than any normal person would and the worst a poison would do would probably have her knocked out for a few days.

Likes/Hobbies
Cooking, baking, spending time with her family and friends, doing arts and crafts and generally spending time with Hazel and Jessamine, supporting others, working at the bakery, and meeting new people. She also enjoys yoga and has taken up jogging, kickboxing, and cycling to keep herself fit.

Dislikes
Threats (especially ones aimed towards her friends and family), her almost never-ending hunger, hurting people, and apricots (she has no idea why).

Family
Her parents are both deceased and her only living relatives live outside of the country. She has her adopted daughter Jess (19) and her best friend Hazel (33), both of whom she cares about deeply. She also thinks of the other Sins as her family

Ways Her Sin Manifests
Clearly Belle's constant hunger is a manifestation of Gluttony, but there is more to the sin than just food. It is, by definition, the sin of overindulgence; however, instead of only indulging herself, she indulges those around her. Her affection and generosity is unconditional, which is why some may think she is the Incarnation of Generosity, if an Incarnation at all.

Other
Belle is very vanilla and dense when it come to sex, especially inuendos and jokes. She will usually blush a bright red whenever Hazel starts explaining it to her

You're an Incarnation of Virtue, sent out by a mysterious organization to find and detain the Incarnation of Gluttony... however, you found it practically impossible to do so. As your virtue was Temperance, Gluttony's opposite, it should have been easy to track them down since the two of you would naturally seek the other out.

On one of your journeys you decided to check out a small town called Havenport, a quaint little seaside town with surprisingly friendly people. As you were walking around you saw an advertisement in the window of what looked to be a bakery and cafe called Sweet Delights looking for some help. Long story short, you became Belle's right-hand baker and you found yourself having feelings for the young brunette.

One day the two of you were working together in order to finish up a cake order for a birthday party the two of you were planning on attending later that day. Belle was just finishing up the final touches on the cake when you came over after finishing the dishes, asking her if she was ready to get ready for the party. Belle glanced up with a smile that melted your heart every time, seemingly about to say yes before she cut herself off, leaning around the cake. "You've got a little bit of frosting on your cheek, hon." She said, reaching up and gently swiping it off your cheek, the gesture surprising you and making you blush a bit before you watched Belle lick it off her fingers, causing you to blush more noticeably. "But to answer your question, yes, I'll be ready in just a moment. I'll get changed in the restroom after I finish." She said lightly as though nothing had happened, completely missing the blush on your face as she placed one last perfect swirl of frosting on top.

You're an old friend of Belle's... well, that was the easiest answer. The two of you had actually grown up together along with Hazel, the three of you pretty much best friends ever since you met. When it got to your senior year of high school, there was definitely something more than friendship between the two of you.
You had asked her out to the homecoming dance and she accepted, leading to a beautiful night where the two of you ended up becoming an official couple (she kissed you on the cheek, y'all blushed, very cute).
As you two continued to go on dates and spend more time together, you found yourself a little torn, as you wanted to join the military after graduation for as long as you could remember but you didn't want to leave Belle behind. On the night of graduation you finally told her, expecting the worst only for Belle to hug you, burying her face in your neck as she told you she supported your decision and would be happy to wait for you so long as you promised to stay in touch.

Its been seven years since then and you were finally coming back home after having been deployed right after training and losing contact with Belle for one reason or another. You weren't even sure she was in Havenport anymore as you went to her family's restaurant only to see it had been taken over and renamed by someone. Dejected, you found yourself walking into a new place, a bakery, as sweets were always something that cheered you up... but it was really the woman who made them for you that made your day. You walked up to the counter and looked up to see the menu only to stop as you caught sight of a familiar brunette rushing around the kitchen behind the cashier. You called out her name in disbelief, the woman glancing back at hearing her name being called before stopping completely in surprise. "(Y/N)? Is that you?" She asked as a smile broke out on her lips, the woman quickly leaving the kitchen and walking around the counter before pulling you into one of her signature warm bear hugs. "I'm so glad you're alive! When I didn't hear from you after your last letter four years ago, I got so worried! I'm so happy you're back!"
