15. Welcome to Vegas

"God, isn't she precious?" I cooed, cradling baby Natalia in my hands. She had big, beautiful blue eyes that was brimmed with green, which I'm not sure who she got that from. Her hair was starting to grow out, too. She was gorgeous.

"Yes, she is," Jimmy agreed. "She threw up all over me last night. So precious."

"Jimmy, that's because you got the wrong formula, you dumb fuck," Daniella joked. Her and Marion were like another two parents for Natalia. I was so thankful to have them by my side.

"Well, damn, sorry, Mom." I widened my eyes at him. "Dani, I mean."

"Mhm," she murmured.

"Can I hold her?"

"Yup." I handed Natalia to Jimmy. I loved the way he would look at her whenever he would hold her. His eyes would just fill up with an admiration that I've never seen come across his expression. It was beautiful.

"Jesus Christ, Jimmy, don't hold her like that." Daniella outstretched her arms and put Natalia in the right position.

"Why are you guys bullying me?" Jimmy said in a childish squeaky voice. I giggled. "You're acting like I'm gonna kill the damn child."

She massaged her temples. "Just...I'm literally a better father than you. Gimme her."

"Excuse you." Jimmy turned away, securely holding Natalia in his arms. "I've barely held her. I made her, too."

"Yeah, but it only took you, like, two seconds!" Marion shot back.

"Shhh." he covered a hand over Natalia's little ears. "Not in front of the child."

"Who cares?" Daniella shrugged. "It's not like she knows what we're talking about. DICK. PUSSY. FUCK. CUNT. PUB-"

"Dan, chill," I said through giggles.

"WAIT! I got a question." I rolled my eyes. "Like, do you ever reject Jimmy to bang?"

"Yeah!" Jimmy said before I could say anything. "But, if she does say no, I have nothing to worry about, 'cause I got these babies." he held up both his hands, staring at them as if they were gold.

Silence.

"Oh, c'mon, everyone does it," he continued.

All of a sudden, there was a terrible smell that was lingering in the air. I pinched my nose. "Jesus, James, you could've showered." I chuckled.

"It's Natalia!" Jimmy shot back playfully, walking away.

---

"I'm back." Jimmy came running into the dining room table after putting Natalia to bed, sitting with us at the dining room table.

"Okay, do you guys wanna play a game?" Daniella smirked.

"Oh, no," Jimmy and I said in unison.

"I don't care. So, it's called confession. Basically we just go around and someone confesses something. I'll go first." she straightening her back. "I lost my V-Card when I was 15."

"To who?" Marion chimed in.

"I don't even remember his name." she giggled.

"Oh," I murmured. "I guess it's my turn now?" Daniella nodded. "Ooh, I got a good one: even before me and Jimmy started dating, I had a crush on him."

"You did?" Jimmy asked in an astonished voice.

"Mhm."

"Okay, uhh..." he stared up at the ceiling, deep in thought. "Oh, here we go. Um, even though this is a little embarrassing, but...I had chlamydia."

"What?" Marion and Daniella said in unison.

"WHAT?!" I yelled, infuriated.

(If you guys don't know what chlamydia is, it's a bad form of STD lol)

He held up his hands defensively. "It was gone by the time I had sex with you a few times."

My jaw dropped. "Jim-oh, my God, did you really have sex with me while you had chlamydia all over your penis?!"

"Who gave you chlamydia?" Marion asked through laughter.

"You tell me!" Jimmy said, as if we should know. "I had sex with a lot of people in my days. Then I found Noel, and we had sex like three times a day. It was awesome."

I began to reminisce those days. I had been letting myself down because I was graduating a virgin---which I did---but a week later, me and Jimmy had started hanging out. The minute we had officially looked at each other, we fell madly in love. We started having sex really early in our relationship; I had confessed to Jimmy that I was a virgin, and he wanted to change that. At first, I thought he was just having sex with me because he wanted to help me with my weird inability to lose my virginity, but after a while, I realized that what we had something worth waiting for.

"...Then after Natalia was born, it's like, twice a week," he continued.

I knitted my eyebrows together. "Are you kidding me, Jimmy? You really can't control your dick enough to realize that we have a baby girl in the other room?"

"She's not gonna fucking hear us, let alone know what we're doing."

I stood up. "Fine, then we'll have sex tonight, then."

"Fine!"

I sat back down. "Fine!"

"Guys, shut the fuck up!" Daniella screamed.

"Shhhh!" Jimmy hissed. "I don't wanna piss of the neighbors like I did at my old house. The other night I may or may not have sang 'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston really loudly the other night while humping a pillow."

I put a hand on my forehead. "Do you always have to sing in the middle of the night while you're getting ready for your stand-up shows? You always wake Nat and piss her off."

"Yes, it's my morning routine," he said as-a-matter-of-factly.

"Okay, we have to let Jimmy share again, because honestly, I feel bad for you." Marion stuck out her bottom lip in pity.

"Alright, uhmmm..." he was deep in thought for a few moments before his eyes brightened. "Me and Noel are engaged."

Marion and Daniella both gasped.

"Why would you tell them that?" I slapped his hand.

"Oh, my God." Daniella looked as if she were about to have a panic attack. "When's the wedding? Where? How long have you guys been engaged? Who's the maid of honor? Dammit, who's the maid of honor?!"

"Sorry," Jimmy whispered. "We've been engaged for...how long? You were, like, three months pregnant for Nat, right?" He counted on his fingers. "A little over a year. We want to have a wedding, but we don't have the money. And I lost the engagement ring before I gave it to her first."

"Well, why don't you guys just go to Vegas and get married there?" Marion suggested, shrugging.

Jimmy and I looked at each other, considering the idea. "That's not a bad idea, actually," I chimed in.

"Good thinking, Mari." Daniella smiled at her. "I'll look online for plane tickets. It's on me."

I smiled. Could we be getting married soon?

A few minutes later, Daniella came back with her computer, clicking furiously. She turned it to face us. "There's one, at JFK. It leaves in two hours, we can make it!"

"Yes!" Jimmy threw his fist in the air.

"But, wait," I interrupted. "What about Natalia? We can't take her to Vegas."

It was silent until Daniella gasped. I immediately knew that she had one of her Fantastic Daniella Ideas. "I know a girl who used to babysit me as a kid. Her name's Cara, we still keep in touch. I can ask her if she could babysit Natalia for a few days."

I sighed in relief.

---

Daniella had called Cara and asked if she could babysit Natalia, and thankfully, she said yes. Marion and Daniella went home and packed their things, telling their parents that they were spending a few days at my house. Jimmy and I packed our suitcases in no time, then I left a letter on the table for Cara that read:

Hi, Cara! Again, thank you so much for offering to babysit Natalia while we're in Vegas. I wanted to leave a paper here telling you the basics of what to do to take care of here.

• Her formula is in the left shelf in the refrigerator.
• You can sleep in our bed if you would prefer to, but there is a small guest bedroom across from ours.
• Natalia tends to cry a lot for no reason specifically. If you do everything to help her needs and she's still crying, just rock her back and forth for a few minutes. That should help.
• If you still have questions, feel free to call me any time you want.

Thanks again!
Noel & Jimmy

There was a knock on the door by the time I had finished writing the letter. I went over to open in, and Marion and Daniella had stumbled in the door with suitcases in their hands.

"Need help?" I offered.

"No, we're good," Marion panted, as if she were out of breath.

"Cara is pulling up," Daniella said as Jimmy ran down the stairs.

"Are we all packed?" Jimmy asked everyone, picking up his suitcase.

Through the screen door, a female in her mid-thirties with long dark brunette hair that almost looked black came up to our door. I opened the door for her, greeting her, "Hi, I'm Noel. This is Jimmy." I pointed at him.

"Nice to meet you guys." She smiled, showing her perfect teeth. She shook my hand, then Jimmy's.

I checked my watch. "Okay, we have to catch our plane, but thank you so much for this. We'll be back!"

We all headed out the door.

"Vegas, here we come!" Marion yelled.

Quick A/N: If there are any Friends fans out there who are reading this, you'll notice that this chapter is inspired by "The One in Vegas". You'll see why. 😂

We were about two hours into the plane ride, and the sky slowly started to darken. It was so pretty; a half hour ago you were able to see all of the lights in New York City from above.

Jimmy and I were sitting next to each other with a woman on the end, and Marion and Daniella were sitting next to each other in the seats behind us.

"So, you said that we could have sex tonight," he said, leaning over. I chuckled, shaking my head.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because, you really think I'm gonna have sex with you on a plane? Nuh-uh, you thought wrong. Wait 'til we get to the hotel."

He sucked his teeth at me. "You get so embarrassed easily."

"Well, how do you expect me to react?" I hissed. "And you're saying that you don't ever get embarrassed, either?"

He shook his head. "You know I don't get embarrassed. I was probably the most popular fuckboy in our school; I embarrassed myself all the time, and I didn't-" Before he could finish, I poured all of my water onto Jimmy's pants until they were drenched.

"Wha-what was that for?!"

I gestured the stewardess pacing up and down the aisles over to where we were. She noticed Jimmy's pants before I could say anything. "Uhm, do you guys by-any-chance have an extra pair of pants? My fiancée here seemed to have gotten a little too excited." I chuckled mischievously.

---

Three hours later, the pilot had finally said that we were landing. All four of us began to gather our luggage from the compartment above our seats and line up in the aisle.

When we boarded off of the plane, I stretched for the first time in six hours. It felt so good. I turned around to see that the others were doing the same.

"Ugh, it felt so good to stretch," Daniella moaned, stretching out her arms.

"Facts," Jimmy agreed.

We began walking towards the bus that would be taking us to The Plaza Hotel and Casino, the hotel we would be staying in.

"I can't believe you guys are getting married," Marion chimed in.

"Me neither. It's pretty surreal." The thought of it made me melt into a puddle of love.

"I love you, Noel Pelletier." Jimmy pulled me in closer with his arm, placing a lingering kiss on my head.

"I love you, too, James Fallon."

---

It took around 30 minutes until the bus arrived at our hotel. We walked in, checked in, then settled in our rooms. Jimmy and I would be sharing a queen-sized bed in one room, and Marion and Daniella would be sharing a bed in the room next to us.

"Okay, I'm pretty sure there's a jewelry store downstairs so we can pick out our rings," Jimmy said.

"No!" I said, speaking before I could taste my words. "I don't want you to buy a ring. We don't need rings."

"Well, Noel, we can't get married without a ring for you!" He held my hand. "I don't mind spending some money. C'mon, we're in Las-friggin'-Vegas! Lighten up."

I sighed, brushing my bangs out of my eyes. "Fine. But I don't want you spending too much money on me, okay?"

"Deal." He looked me in my eyes and kissed me. When he broke the kiss, he faced the girls, who were unpacking their things, "We'll see you guys later!"

"Alright!" Daniella called back.

---

Jimmy and I had made our way downstairs, where all the food courts and stores were. We looked around for a little bit until we came across Jared's. We went in there.

We went up to the woman behind the glass cases full of rings. "I would like to see the most expensive wedding ring you have." The lady did so.

I hit Jimmy's forearm. "What did I tell you?"

"It's okay to lie sometimes." He smirked.

---

Daniella's POV

Marion and I had finished packing our things, now we were sitting on the floor while playing Monopoly with glasses of bourbon that she had ordered from room service.

"Hey, you okay tonight?" She asked as she rolled the dice. "You just seem kinda...down."

I sighed, massaging my face. "I'm fine, it's just seeing Jim and Noel about to be married just reminds me of the fact that I'm not."

Marion reached over and put her hand on mine, her brows knitted together. "I know. But you said that you wanted to wait to get married, right?"

"Yeah, but...," I was on the verge of sobbing. "I would love to married now, but gay marriage has no meaning. We could get married, but it wouldn't mean anything. We're not treated as fairly as straight couples."

Marion looked down, fidgeting with her fingers. "Hey." She pushed my face up by putting her fingers on my chin. "I don't want you to be upset. How about we get drunk as fuck, go downstairs and gamble?"

I laughed. She never failed to make me feel better. "Okay."

---

Noel's POV

I had talked Jimmy out of buying me the most expensive ring there, instead he got a ring that was perfect for me; it was silver with a medium-sized diamond. It was so gorgeous---I couldn't wait to wear it. In return, I bought Jimmy his wedding ring.

We walked around the hotel a little bit before we went to Chapel of Luv, the chapel where we were going to, at last, get married.

Jimmy talked to the receptionist while I stood against the wall, looking at my ring. The thought of us being a married couple is just so overwhelmingly beautiful. We both knew that this needed to happen, and we would live the rest of our lives as a married couple.

After a few moments of waiting, Jimmy came over to me. "She said that there's another wedding going on right now, so we have to wait a few minutes." I nodded.

Jimmy and I were talking for the next ten minutes about what our lives were going to be like after we were married until the white double doors open, where the newlyweds usually walk through. I looked up and nearly collapsed to my knees when I saw who had just gotten married.

It was Marion and Daniella.
