Chapter 24.5 - Marina Del Ocaso, Mexico
The sun gently rose over the calm waves crashing by a lonely cottage. Outside of it, a young boy and his mother climbed out of their car after a four day long journey to Mexico. Inside that house, the mother's greatest friend was unaware of their arrival, and opened the door holding a golden pistol in their faces. Upon recognizing them, he tossed the gun on the nearest table and hugged the woman excitedly.
"Akina, I can't believe it's you!" he shouted, squeezing her tight.
"The same to you, Miguel. Now, I'm not here for no reason," Akina said, entering the home with her son on her tail, "there's something that has happened, and I have this strange feeling that you know more about it than you think..."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Miguel said bluntly.
"The multiverse."
He stared blankly into her eyes, absentmindedly brushing a hand over the scar on his forehead.
"Continue," he said, interested.
"My daughter is there, and I can't help but notice that you seem to be hiding something. You have the same scar she has and that my ex-husband had. I now know his scar hid a third eye."
Miguel's jaw dropped in awe. Akina was much smarter than he remembered her being. He gulped nervously, and led them to the back of his house, where a scanner of some sort stood alone on the wall. He placed his hand on it, which caused the outline of a doorway to light up in a bright neon purple, gleaming and glittering until it opened into a hidden room.
"I trust you, and there's no use arguing it since you know about it. You want to see her, right? If her third eye emerged, there's no way she can safely return to Earth."
"Yes, that's exactly what I came here for."
Nodding, Miguel walked over to a large silhouette, stomping on the ground. The force of his foot on the floor caused a small shake, and the room to light up. Behind him was a small ship with a mysterious script written on it.
"My SuperNova. Come on, I'll take you. He was an Ununquadius, I can tell already. Everyone knows about the man who went to Earth and had a child, breaking one of the basic Exan laws. I'm not much better, since I shouldn't even be on Earth in the first place. Zhera, here we come," he said, a purple-sphered Halo finding its place above his head.
Akina and her son held each other close, unsure whether to be afraid or intrigued. They chose both as an appropriate choice and boarded the high-speed ship.
"Welcome to the Vietor One, designed by master engineer Miguel Arisiano. Enjoy your trip. The multiverse is at your fingertips!" a robotic voice spoke.
Their journey had only just begun.
