Somebody I Used to Know
(Y/n): Of course, he had to get himself hurt.
Meliodas had injured himself gravely in a fight you had no clue had ever happened. You were carrying him on your back as you quickly followed Diane trying to find a doctor.
Diane: Hey is there a-
Of course, a giant girl rushing into your town would probably scare anyone. The townsfolks scattered in fear and ran off.
Diane: No! Wait a minute! I just wanted to find out if you have a doctor in this town!
Diane's pleas fell on deaf ears as they ran off.
(Y/n): Diane.
Diane looked down at you with a slight look of sadness in her eyes.
(Y/n): Take Meliodas.
Diane picked up the Captain from your back and held him gently in her hands.
Diane: (Y/n) what are you doing?
You didn't see it, but Elizabeth was just as confused as Diane.
(Y/n): I'm going to get a head start toward the prison.
Diane: No!
Elizabeth: We need to get Melodias to a hospital first!
(Y/n): Look I don't need you both screaming at me. I'm going to check on the defenses of the prison and then make my way back here. It's better to at least know the layout than go in completely blind.
Diane: I should go with you.
(Y/n): I can move faster on my own, but if you can do try to join me once you get Meliodas to a doctor.
Elizabeth: T-Then... stay safe.
(Y/n): I got this (plot) armor and a good weapon, I'll be fine Elizabeth.
You nodded at the two before turning to the southeast and sprinting toward the prison in the distance. You didn't know the name of the town. To be honest, you could care less. Another sin was close by and if you could retrieve him on your own you could move on to find the next. Dodging building corner and shopping carts, you dashed outside the town's limits and up the beaten path toward Baste Prison. Then the sky darkened. You stopped in your tracks abruptly looking up to see the largest swarm of insects you had ever seen approaching the town.
(Y/n): Those bugs are different... This isn't a normal swarm.
You tried to spot where the bugs were coming from, but the swarm had long since passed into the town. Then you heard a voice. A female voice to be exact nearby. By instinct or moral obligation, you proceded to search for the voice. It's not hard to find someone when they have a large helmet on with pink armor.
???: Who are you? Wait for a second...
(Y/n): Hmm?
???: I know you!
The woman in the weirdest set of armor you had ever seen pointed at you.
???: You're the one Jericho keeps talking about!
You choked up a bit. Jericho? What does any of this have to do with Jericho? Was she at the prison?
(Y/n): I don't know any Jericho's lady.
???: You simply must be. And you really are a cutie.
(Y/n): Release that town from the swarm.
???: Now why ever would I do that? I think you know, but the outlaws the-
(Y/n): Calling them outlaws will be your last mistake.
???: Oh I get it... Who in the seven deadly sins has your heart sweety?
(Y/n): What?!
???: Well clearly you would only defend the sins if one of them held your heart.
The ground shook slightly as you looked back at the town. Pillars of rock had shot from the ground into the air butchering the insects and scattering the horde.
???: So this is the power of the Seven Deadly Sins?
(Y/n): Thank you, Diane. That makes this a lot easier.
???: What easier?
You pulled the weapon from your back and pointed at her.
(Y/n): You no longer have a town hostage. Now you die.
???: B-But I thought we were friends you and I!
You charged at her and she let out a scream, deflecting your weak attack with her own weapon. Planting your weapon into the ground you spun on the handle and kicked her in the face. She reeled back and charged at you with her own pitiful attack. You leaned back, avoiding attack after weak attack, before pulling your weapon from the ground, kicking her back, and thrust the blade at her. It caught her shoulder plating and she reeled back from the attack.
(Y/n): If you stayed still this would be a lot easier on both of us lady.
???: You're trying to kill me!
(Y/n): Did you just figure that out?
Her blood still resting on the blade, you thrust again aiming at her stomach plating. Your blade easily carved her arm up as you just barely missed her flesh with each renewed attack.
???: I'll take it from here.
A new deeper voice entered in. The woman seemed overjoyed. Suddenly a knight appeared before you. He wore dark colors with a mask, his only weapon... a staff with a bell on the end.
???: Friesia.
Friesia: Y-Yes?!
???: Return to the prison and set up defenses.
The female knight ran off with a simple rushed nod. The new knight looked at you deeply.
???: You are the traitor (Y/n).
(Y/n): Well if you count quitting as being a traitor you go right ahead.
???: You are rather calm for someone who will die soon.
(Y/n): I could offer the same statement to you, sir.
???: You certainly don't lack confidence. But we must fight correct?
(Y/n): Seems so.
You readied your weapon and aimed it at the knight only for him to ring his bell. You were confused until you watched him disappear.
(Y/n): W-What?! Where did you go?! Fight me you coward!
???: (Y/n)!
You turned and nearly dropped your weapon at the sight before. The knight from before was a giant! How did he do that?! You feared you didn't have much time to figure that out as the knight reached down towards you trying to pick you up. You slashed at his hand and climbed up his arm trying to reach the face mask. Then you were punched off his arm and landed in the dirt.
???: You won't escape here alive holy knight!
(Y/n): You're the holy knight!
You both charged at each other. This man was clearly delusional to not remember you. Still, this was the last thought in your mind as you tried to find a way to defeat this large enemy.
