POV: Y/n

I sat by Diane in pain, watching the fight between Meliodas, Ban, King and Guila. King' entrance wasn't one I expected.

Ban: Hey heeeeey, what's the deal, King? ~cough~

King: Can't you tell? I came to help.

Me: *weakly* Then where is Elizabeth and Hawk?

King: They are safe Y/n.

Ban: To help huh? ~cough~ Why, Thank you.

King: You're welcome. It's for Captain, Diane and Y/n.

Ban: Whaa? You're leavin' me ooout?

King: That and, Elaine's feelings for you.

Just then an explosion came from where Guila was, knocking up debris, Guila emerged in a fighting stance. If I didn't know better, I say she was breaking, psychologically.

Guila: You're betrayal was expected, but, it's still too bad, Grizzly's Sin of Sloth, King.

King: What you're saying is unexpected, I had no intention of siding with you from the start. It just so happened that the Kingdom's goal of destroying the Seven Deadly Sins coincided my goal of defeating Ban at the moment.

Me: Lord King, the Kingdom's goal were never to destroy the Seven, but to protect the peace.

Ban: I don't care about any of this, but can you stop literally talking behind my back?

King: Either way things changed, I'm sorry, but can you relay that message to Gilthunder, your boss?

Me: That struck a nerve.

Guila: That little boy? My boss? Please save the jokes for sleep-talking.

She then charged explosions at the tip of her rapier, before swirling it in the air and launching the explosions at all of us.

Me: Sh-shit

Guila: It's not funny at all "Shot Bomb."

King: Taking care of all of those will be a handful.

POV: ELizabeth

Hawk: Whoa!! Something big is going on over there!!

Me: Let's hurry!! The others may need help.

Hawk: Let's turn back!!

Me: No! Think of the others!

Hawk: Yes ma'am.

Me: *I hope they're okay. Y/n's always putting his life on the line for me*

POV: Y/n

I was in awe as King's spear had spun and made a sort of shield stopping the explosions. Guila spoke as the spear spun back to King stopping with its tip pointing at the ground.

Guila: Splendid! So that's the legendary Spirit Spear, Chastiefol. I don't know whether it is true, but the spear is said to be a holy weapon crafted from the sacred tree only found in the Fairy Realm, I hear that its strength is stronger than that of steel, and it has the mysterious qualities of the sacred tree, and your power draws out those qualities, "Disaster." Looks like I might be able to enjoy this. Please come at me four-on-one.

Me: Make it five and you have a deal.

King: No. It'll be one-on-one.

Meliodas: King!

King then went around Ban as Ban looked back to Meliodas.

King: You guys can sit and watch.

Guila tilted her head like a dog upon hearing and seeing this occur.

Gulia: Are you being serious?

Meliodas and Ban then took a seat next to me in front of Diane.

Diane: Captain... uuugh... I- I might be dying.

Meliodas:We're counting on you King!!

Ban: If you lose, I'll kill yoooou!

Me: That's blunt.

Ban: Can it, knight.

Diane: Come oooon, Captaaaaain,

Guila: You want to take me on when three sins were barely able to keep up with me?

Me: I WAS THERE TOO!

Guila: But you did nothing except break.

Ban: She's gotta point.

King: It doesn't matter. Let's get this over with.

Guila: Fu... very well, then. Come. I'm ready when you are.

As Guila said that she thrusted her rapier forward as Chastiefol dashed past her head, separating her hair and leaving a small cut formed on her face and spurtted out blood.

King: It might be a good idea to try dodging.

King then started a relentless onslaught towards Guila, having Chastiefol travel and strike at immeasurable speed. Guila tried to block some the strikes, but her rapier was knocked backward. King simply moved his fingers as Guila tried to run and hide from the attack. When she managed to get a decent ways away, she charged up an explosion knocking Chastiefol back and it stopped right before it's tip landed in the ground in front of King. Guila then lifted her rapier tip into the air and an explosive orb started growing in size.

Guila: Brilliant Detonation!!

About a second later, the orb started launching small chunks off in different directions. King responded by having Chastiefol raise above his head.

King: Spirit Spear Chastiefol Form Five Increase.

As King said that he snapped and Chastiefol split into roughly one thousand kunia like points and sent them into the small orbs sent by Guila, causing explosions to fill the surrounding area. When the light settled I could see the small kunia from Chastiefol behind and aimed at Guila. Before we knew it, the crystal Guila was standing on was destroyed.

POV: Elizabeth

Hawk and I ran towards the crystal that was destroyed, hoping that everyone was alright.

Me: HEEEEEEEY! ARE YOU HURT!?

Hawk: Man, you sure made a mess of it!!

Meliodas: Hey! We're fine, Y/n just broke his arm.

Me: WHAT!!!

I then saw that Lord King had created a barrier around Y/n.

Y/n: M'lady, I'll be fine. I'll heal over time. Don't worry.

After the barrier had fallen we all started laughing, thinking the worst of it was over. I looked up when I heard a rumbling come from the debris near us. I saw Guila get up and charge at King.

Gulia: At this range, even if you were to defend yourselves with the Spirit Spear, YOU WON'T COME OUT UNSCATHED!

I watched as Guila swung at Lord King, however when she got close, Y/n had jumped in front of him with his shield and Meliodas managed to counter her attack.

Meliodas: No, you won't.

Y/n: You will not harm the Princess while I still breathe.

Guila: Noo.

There was then a large explosion which sent Y/n sliding back.

POV: Y/n

Me: *Sh, she's gone?*

Diane: Guila's presence disappeared.

Hawk: Hmph. So she died. That was anticlimactic!!

???: She probably returned to the real world from that impact just now.

Me: That makes sense. Wait, who said that!?

???: I'm Elaine. Unlike you all, it looks like she came here with just her soul instead of her physical body, but her soul must have been wounded from that.

Hawk: PUGOOOOOOOH!!

Me: WHAT!?

Elizabeth: Wha, what happened Hawk!?

Hawk: My, my, MY EAR'S GONE!!

Me: What!?

Elizabeth: Kyah! That's disgusting!!

Meliodas: Here! I'll make you feel better!!

Me: Meliodas, I will kill you if you persist!

Diane: Hey! What do you think you're doing, Captain!? Wait, WHAT!? What's going on!? My, my body is!!

Elaine: It looks like this world has begun to reject you, the living, who do not belong to this world.

Me: Never thought I'd be rejected by a world. That's a new low.

I then noticed that everyone including myself had started turning to light, I saw Ban turn toward a bundle of lights before King turned to face them followed by a bright flash.

Ban: Looks like we're back in the real world.

Meliodas: Yeah.

Me: Anyone else hungry? Maybe it's just from the fight.

Hawk: Don't get any ideas.

Elizabeth: In the end, I wonder whose memories led us to the Capital of the Dead? Lord Meliodas, what do you think... GAHH!

Me: *draws sword and shield* What's wrong! Wait, that's Guila! So that's what Eliane meant by just her soul, Guila is half dead.

Hawk: That means she could wake up at any moment, right!?

Elizabeth: Everyone, hurry and run!

Ban: Let's just kill her now!

King: How savage, I'll petrify her.

Me: Let's not kill someone who does not pose a threat, I don't want murder next to my name.

Diane: You're all such kids.

Meliodas: Alright. Leave it to me!!

Elizabeth: Oh no! Ellen and her brother aren't here!!

Me: Please don't tell me Guila...

Ellen: I'm glad mister.

Ban: Oh, there you are.

Boy: You were able to see the person you wanted to see...

Girl: And shared your memories and feelings, right?

Ban: You, thos bodies,

King: Are, are you,

Boy: We'll rest in peace until we have to lead other people like you to the Capital.

Ellen: Your cooking was really delicious mister.

Kids: Thank you.

The two kids then vanished in a blinding light. With nothing holding us to the town, we all left to travel to find the next Sin. After an hour of traveling, we stopped near a lake. King used his magic to catch fish while I did it by hand. After the fish had cooked, Diane tried to feed Meliodas.

Diane: Here Captain, it's ready! Say 'Aaaaaah!'

Meliodas: I can't fit that in my mouth.

King: Hey, Diane, are you really okay now?

Diane: huh...? Ye, yeah! I'm okay now. Thanks to your healing.

Ban: Stupid! I bet she just wanted attention from the Cap'n, so she pretended to be hurt.

King: DIANE ISN'T THAT KIND OF GIRL!!

Diane: Calm down you two. I feel sleepy, now that I've eaten.

Hawk: Hey, you'll become a pig.

Me: Hawk, do we need to change your name to irony? I don't blame her though. ~yawn~ I'm tired after eating three fish.

Meliodas: If you two keep fighting, you'll make Elizabeth upset and Y/n will attack you.

Elizabeth: Lord Meliodas, I don't I mean

Me: He's not wrong on the later.

King: That's right! I know Y/n mentioned a form of nobility, but what's her relationship with the Captain?

Meliodas: We're lovers?

Elizabeth: NO!!

Meliodas: We like touching each other?

Elizabeth Lord Meliodas, um, please...

Me: I WILL KILL YOU! When I get up.

Meliodas: She's a princess from the Kingdom. The third princess I think?

Me: Yeah, she's the youngest. We're looking for the Seven Deadly Sins to form a militia and save the Kingdom from the Holy Knights.

King: Pri, PRINCESS!!? Why didn't you say that earlier Y/n? If I knew I would have never left them alone!

Me: I'm glad I didn't, since you saved our asses.

King: Allow me to properly introduce myself.

Ban: The hell does he mean, 'properly introduce?'

Elizabeth: Please, Lord King, you don't have to.

King then changed from his childesk body into a more mature, yet overweight form dressed as a noble.

Meliodas: Whoa! His clothes changed.

Ban: THAT'S NOT THE POINT!

Me: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Ban. I don't feel so good after saying that.

King: Well, this appearance actually requires a lot of concentration. I am the Grizzly's Sin of Sloth, King, of the Seven Deadly Sins. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

Hawk: He's such a pig.

Me: Can it, Hawk. He's being polite.

King: Please forgive the rudeness of my conduct from back at the Capital of the Dead!

Elizabeth: You, you don't have to.

Me: Lord King, Lady Elizabeth is far less formal than her siblings, and so am I. She is a patient and kind soul.

Elizabeth: Please, you can relax now. Please take it easy.

King: I, I see. If that's the case. Pheeewwww... it's been awhile, my shoulders are stiff.

Meliodas: Oh, his clothes are back.

Ban: CAP'N ARE YOUR EYEHOLES EMPTY!? If you had more time to care about others, isn't there someone you should have been caring about?

Me: Stop fighting. The fish is done.

After a lot of eating and a bit of drinking, Elizabeth spoke up.

Elizabeth: Lord King, you really are powerful. You defeated an enemy who four people were struggling to fight, all by yourself

King: Speaking of which, I was going to ask you all about that. It's true that that Holy Knight was a formidable opponent, but you should have been able to handle it if you were as strong as you used to be.

Hawk: Huh? What does that mean?

Me: They've gotten weaker since they went into hiding?

King: Not exactly, You three, what happened to your Sacred Treasures?

Diane: I lost mine.

Meliodas: I sold mine.

Ban: Mine was stolen.

I could tell that struck a nerve in King.

POV: Author

Okay, I know I haven't updated in a while, honestly, Hurricane/Tropical Storm Florence passed over my campus over the weekend. I was planning on writing this chapter maybe Thursday or Friday since my classes were cancelled, but my dad told me to stay off my phone, in the event the power on campus went out. I was safe, I even went out and fished in a downpour to blow off some steam and find peace. Didn't catch anythin' not even a cold.
