Friends to lovers
So this is a one shot for thtsmarrtho
Mo's P.O.V
They were separate people, one had a life of Wealth and the other a life full of love.
She had an amazing family, but friends were a different story. The people she was once stuck in class with, weren't too nice to her, but she overcame it all and started fresh when she moved.
He had all the money he could ever ask for, but love was all he wanted. Someone who he could love, protect and care for, but he wanted that in return. When she one day appeared at his school, a transfer in the middle of the year, it caught his eye.
Not many had found their way as new kids to this very school, most were there since they were little, so everyone was intrigued trying to be friend the new girl.
"Hello, my name is Elizabeth Liones, i moved here from Camelot Elementary school, it's nice to meet you all."
Her voice was soft and innocent sounding, it struck him right away. His few friends could tell he had found an interest in the girl, since he spared no glance to other girls; which was saddening to his giant friend.
"Welcome to my class Elizabeth, I'll have Meliodas show you around during recess. He's the small blonde near the middle, you can take the spare seat beside him."
Her heart fluttered when she saw the beautiful boy but adorable boy sitting in his seat with his hand raised. She immediately got lost in his emerald green eyes, she could see pain and sadness, but happiness was trying to shine through.
Laughs were heard through the classroom from her staring at him for so long. Her face went red and she scurried to her seat beside the boy, immediately getting out her books. The teacher luckily went ahead with his lesson telling everyone to quiet down so he could explain the work for that day;then being only 13 leading to easy work.
"You ready to go?"
"Yes, I'm grateful that you're giving me a tour."
"Well I'm glad I get to give it to you."
The little wink he had given her only made her blush rise. She couldn't deny that she liked the way the boy looked and his voice sent shivers down her spine. She thought of him as kind, but didn't know his true nature which she was afraid of finding out.
He thought she was gorgeous, her long sliver hair that he wanted to run his fingers through, the big blue eye sparkled with kindness. He thought that her hair covering her eye was strange but in a good way. Normally he didn't like people being taller than he was, but her being taller his liked.
The tour was a wonderful time for them, full of laughter and education, plus some corny jokes here and there. It was the next day when she would sit with in the cafeteria, but it was all solved when the blonde boy grabbed her hand and brought her over to his table.
"This is Ban, King and Diane, guys this is Elizabeth the new girl in our class."
He introduced them all to each over properly, the taller man seeing the happy look in his best friends eyes. The brown haired boy welcomed her with a warm smile, so did the sliver haired man but the giant girl wasn't so pleased.
"Nice to meet you, I hope we can be great friends."
"Oh I'm sure we will."
The sliver haired girls greeting was full of warmth and friendliness but the giants was a tight smile, she didn't like the boy she loved talking with another girl.
"Meliodas!"
"Hey Ellie, Alright lets go!"
Over the course of several weeks the two had become incredibly close, never being seen apart from each other. At first the giant was jealous and still was but she learned that they were best friends; which she hoped stayed that way.
They would walk to school together; they found out they lived close to each others. The five of them had many sleepovers at the sliver haired girls house, her father and sisters loved how lively everything was. They were happy that she had made some friends who weren't rude to her.
Over the next year and a half they had finally entered high school. At first it was challenging, she had a large glow up which caused many boys to start being interested in her, along with the giant. The blonde and brown haired boys were not fan of the many boys, trying their best to keep them away.
"Would you expect my love Elizabeth?"
"I'm sorry, but there's someone else my heart has chose, I'm deeply sorry."
The boy had turned and walked away after her rejection that she felt bad for but she knew she shouldn't. She went back over to her friends table to finish her lunch, hoping that would be the last confession from strange boys.
"Elizabeth, I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for how rude I was to you up until now. I was just jealous that you and Meliodas were so close, I know I would never get a chance with him but I just wanted you to know that I'm not mad at you or anything. In fact I hope we can be better friends, and really get to know each other."
"Of course, I'm sorry that I made you feel that way, were just friends nothing more, but I do know a boy who has an interest in you."
The girls heart stung when she said those words, did she even want to stay friends or did she want more. She was sure in her heart that she liked him, a lot for that matter, but she knew he only saw her as a friend which broke her heart, but she wanted him happy.
As the next few months, She found herself becoming sad when she saw him talking with other girls. She was jealous but would never say anything, since she just wanted him happy. She had accidentally blurted it out to the sliver haired man when they were walking to class once.
He agreed not to say anything, but he spoke kind words to her and told her not to lose faith in her love. She was happy with his words but couldn't help but worry and feel sad about him never loving her the way she did.
It was finally their senior year, and she was getting fed up with all the girls always confessing to him. But annoyed with the boys confessing to her, she even tried dating one for a few weeks to get her mind off of him. It didn't work and only made her love him more.
She suddenly had a burst on confidence and wrote him a letter, since she wasn't very good at saying what she wanted. She thought it was best to give him a letter, let him read it and then clarify any questions he had.
She hoped that it would go well and was ready for this. She told Ban her plan and was able to help the two of them be alone after school. She asked if he wanted to get ice cream and walk around the park.
"I would love to, let's get going, also what did you think of the work Miss, Merlin handed out?"
They chatted about school on the way there and she tried her best to keep the conversation neutral. The letter was in the back pocket of her ripped jeans, the sweater which was actually his, helping cover her back.
"No, I'll be paying for it, shouldn't be making a beautiful lady pay for something she doesn't have to."
That cheeky smile of his always made her heart flutter, along with the red blush that appeared on her cheeks from the words he spoke. She ordered a chocolate cone and he a vanilla cone; they say opposites attract.
She giggled as he complained about school work and his protective side came out when he said he was annoyed at the boys trying to get with his best friend. Again her heart stung when he said best friend, but she played it off with a warm smile.
As they were about to leave he got up and went to walk away but she grabbed the back of his shirt stopping him. He was confused but turned to look at her, as she pulled the letter out of her pocket.
"I..uh wanted to give you something, I didn't know how to say these words so I thought it was best to write them down."
She blabbered on before giving him the letter and taking a step back so he could read it. Her hands found the bottom of her sweater, playing with it in her fingers as she became nervous, awaiting his reaction.
His face went blank as he read the letter.
Dear Meliodas,
I wanted to tell you about my feelings for you, they started in middle school when you became my first real friend. I was so happy when you asked me to sit with you and introduced me to your friends, who are now mine as well.
I've noticed many things about you and have had the amazing opportunity to become your best friend. It's brought me so many happy memories and a new way of living but, even if I don't want to be greedy, I want more then that.
I love you in a way you could never imagine, you're my reason. It was those emerald green eyes when I first met you, they were filled with pain, sadness but the happiness you hold shined through.
Your blonde hair always made me giggle, since it could never stay down no matter how much hair gel I tried to use. You always make me smile and when I'm down you brighten my day. You listen to my problems when I need someone to talk to; even if I'm just being a burden to you.
No matter how much I embarrassed myself you never seem to care, you're so caring and kind, funny and smart. I just love you.
From Elizabeth
P.S your hair is messier than usual.
Suddenly her head was tilted upwards, by the aft hand of her best friend. A smile playing u his lips, and soon she felt soft lips on her own. A smile broke onto her face as she kissed his back with passion, she hand finding its way onto his shoulder.
" I love you too, sorry it took so long to tell you, but I'm glad to finally make you my girlfriend."
She giggled pulling him into another kiss, which he returned, holding her waist gently. When they pulled away, she wrapped her arms around his neck, immediately playing with his hair.
"I'm glad to have the best boyfriend in the universe."
Over the next few years for them life was great. The two moved in together after high school both going to the same university. They still kept in touch with their friends, meeting up quite often.
"So I need your help, I want to propose to her, but I need help to make the date special."
"Well help, I have some ideas that would go quite well."
"She's definitely going to say yes."
After finishing the first four years of university he thought it was finally time to ask her the big question. He worked with the sliver haired man and the brown haired man to get things ready. They told the giant everything and she helped them to plan everything.
The day of the date, in the Morning the giant took her out To get her nails, and hair done. The boys were planning the date, setting everything up and getting ready. Diane helped her pick out a dress that she bought for her a few days ago.
The pink, with small blue dots settled at her knees, gently laying over her shoulders, with a light pink lace, showing the top of her chest. White flats placed on her feet and a dark pink purse with a silver chain around her shoulder.
Her hair was done up in a loose bun, with her bangs covering her left eye. Two pieces oh hair coming down on either side to frame her face, and a white flower settled in her bun on the side.
"You look, absolutely beautiful, I can't believe I have someone this gorgeous in my life."
Her cheeks fluttered with a red blush, as he spoke wonderful words to her, when he came to pick her up from their house.
"You look stunningly handsome, I'm even surprised you put in a tie."
She let a few giggles leave her mouth, looking at the pink tie he was wearing. His suit was black and his shoes a dark grey, his hair was only slightly combed.
He then grabbed her hand and guided her out of the house to his car, where the both climbed in. A comfortable silence filled the car air as they drove only seven minutes to a small forest.
She was confused when he stepped out and opened her door, wondering where they might be. He held up a blindfold making her pout.
"Why do I have to be blindfolded?"
"You'll see, just put it on, I'm not leading you anywhere dangerous so don't worry."
That cheeky smile of his made her sigh and giggle softly, as she put on the blindfold. He guided her by her waist and soon he gently took it off, letting her see what awaited her.
She gasped softly, gently squeezing his hand as she looked around. A lightly lite up grey path, that leaded to a blue and green blanket. Behind the blanket which had wine and some dinner;that Ban had cooked cause no one wants food poisoning, was a cliff.
Under the cliff was the ocean, a wonderful view of the sunset, that filled the sky with pinks, yellows and oranges. A tree to the side, let a lantern hang down, providing them with a seductive light affect.
She smiled and looked at him hugging him gently, which he returned kissing her cheek. She thanked him and they sat down, enjoying each other's company, eating, laughing, talking. Soon the sun had set and they had eaten until they were filled, he suddenly stood up and grabbed her hand.
She gave a questioning look, but he guided her to stand next to the tree, where he then held her hands in his own.
"Elizabeth you are the love of my life, no one can compare the warm smile you give me everyday, the wonderful words and the care you show me. You showed me what real love was like and for that I am grateful, I love you with all my heart and soul. You're the sun to my moon, I can't live without you, I get so protective of you and make sure to keep you safe at all costs. You're everything I ever wanted, even if we do get into fights here and there, you're perfect for me. So I'm here to ask you a very important question."
He let go of her hands and went down on one knee, holding an open small black box, with a diamond ring inside. She gasped her hands covering her mouth, letting the tears that had gathered in her eyes from the speech flow down her cheeks.
"Will you do the honour in marrying me, Elizabeth Liones?"
"Yes! Of course Yes!"
Her smile was huge as he put the ring on her finger, it being a perfect fit. He gave her a passionate kiss, then hugged her, as she hugged him back.
"I have something I want to tell you."
"You can tell me anything you know that."
She let him go and placed both her hands on her stomach, taking a deep breath. She couldn't help but smile at him, as she spoke the next two words softly making his lips curl into a smile, hugging her tight.
"I'm pregnant.."
