"Sure. I'll send them to move your things. I'm so happy for this second chance you've given me Raven. I swear I won't waist it"

She kissed him once more, before laughing, to lighten the tension in the air.

"Alright, now that, that's been all said and done, can we stand up now? My knees are killing me"

A few hours later, they got to Mikhail's home. It was a large duplex in a very large compound. And there were a lot of persons around, Raven noted. Bodyguards, gardeners, people sweeping, maids and helps, a lot of staff. They were definitely needed, to run a place as big and magnificent as this.

"Mikahail your house is beautiful" Raven whispered, star strucked

"Yeah? Well I'm glad you approve"

As soon as they got in, his Butler took her bags inside to a room that had been assigned to her

"You don't have to worry about the servants Raven. They're not allowed in here. They have their own servant's quarters at the back. Only Richard, the butler who you just saw, stays in the house"

"Wow. Okay..." She was still looking around, not quite believing the designs and artworks she was seeing.

"So what do you want to do first?" Mikhail asked, placing his hands on her waist

"Well, I'm starving" she replied, biting her lip, and watched in satisfaction as desire flared in his eyes, but just like that, it vanished back

"Well, I should think Richard would have prepared something. Since I informed him I was coming. Let's head over to the kitchen and see for ourselves" taking her hand, he tried to drag her, but she refused to move

"What's wrong Raven?" He asked

"So that's it? You don't want me anymore? After your long speech, the fire's died? You're no longer interested in..."

"What the heck are you even talking about Raven?" He cut in, very confused

"I told you I was starving..."

"And we're going to go get you food right now, what did I do wrong" he cut her off again, himself get just as angry as well

"I never said it was food I was starving for"

And it finally clicked "oh" was all he finally said

"So is that it? You're no longer interested?" She faltered, no she wasn't going to cry

"Is that what you think Raven? That I'm no longer interested in your body? Raven, your body is my place of worship. Always will be. Never forget that" he raked out, bringing her hand to his crouch, for her to feel just how aroused he was

"Eighty percent of the times I'm around you, I'm fucking aroused, and you dare think I'm not interested? Raven if at all anything, I'm over interested."

"I'm sorry. I didn't know. I just assumed... You're no longer clingy as you used to. Or trying so hard to get me out of my clothes or get your hands under my skirts..."

"That was what made us quarrel in the first place, did you forget?" He asked cocking a brow, and folding his arms. For the life of him, was he ever going to understand this woman?

"I wasn't against the act itself, but where you performed it. In front of my parents. Would I have orgasmed if I didn't like it? I want the Mikhail I know back. I don't want you walking on eggshells around me or trying not to hurt my feelings!"

"I am the Mikhail you know. I just didn't want to you to think that all I see you as, is a sexual being. I'm interested in other things about you Raven. Not just the sex. So I decided to lay off on the sexual part of our relationship for a little while, so that we can figure out ourselves, without being constantly clouded by the haze of passion. Now if you'll follow me, I'll get you that food. Because I'm sure you must be hungry. You didn't eat breakfast."

He took her hand once more, dragging her reluctant body to the kitchen

"So you're really not going to make love to me?" Raven asked, when they got there, disbelievingly

"What I'm going to do Raven, is feed your ungrateful arse. Now plop on a seat, let me see what I can find"

"Bitch" she muttered

"Did I hear something?" He asked turning back

"No. No you didn't" she said, her eyes twinkling with laughter

"Yes, I'm sure I didn't. Because we might not be in the sex den, but I can still whoop your arse, still without making love to you of course" he replied, feigning seriousness, as he brought out the food.

And she finally burst out laughing, almost falling out of her seat
