(Part 4)
"Jungkook-ah, it's Yoongi and Jin."
"Mm, come in."
The door swung open.
"Hey, kid."
"Hey."
Seokjin slid in after Yoongi and softly shut the door behind him.
"Wanna tell us what's going on with you, kid?"
"You look like you've aged in the past three days much more than I have in the past three years," Seokjin joked, but unlike otherwise, there wasn't a smile that tugged at Jungkook's lips.
Seokjin's expression changed immediately to one of concern.
"Kookie-ah, you know...hyungs can tell when something is bothering you but we are no mind readers. We know you're hurting, but we don't know what it is that's hurting you. We don't know how to help you without knowing the cause of your hurt, sweetheart."
Jungkook visibly swallowed down a lump in his throat. Feeling drained, he slumped onto Yoongi, resting his head on the older man's shoulder.
"Ah, kid. You don't have to fight these battles alone, you know? We're here. Right here with you. If you're tired, you can lean on us. Always, bun."
Jungkook gave a weak hum.
"Tell us, bun. Talk to us." Jin encouraged.
"It's...stupid."
"It's not invalid. And it's certainly not stupid if it pushes you to such a point, kid."
Jungkook took a deep breath, eyes glazed with tears.
"I- I'm scared, hyung."
His voice cracked and Jin felt like his heart did too.
"Scared of what, sweetheart?" he asked, gently brushing back Jungkook's hair.
"She...she hurts me... she's hurting me, hyung. Please...I- she's hurting me," the maknae began to sob, chest heaving.
Yoongi and Jin exchanged worried looks.
The oldest of the two tugged on Jungkook's arm and pulled him into an embrace, his one hand cradling Jungkook's head while the other rubbed small circles onto his back.
"Who, bunny? Who is hurting you?"
Jungkook shuddered, "Ms. Choi."
