(Part 1)
"Is it just me or does Jungkook seem awfully quiet to you?" Yoongi asked his hyung once the other members had retired to their rooms.
Seokjin, who was doing the dishes, sponge in hand, turned to face his oldest dongsaeng.
"I noticed it too. He seemed distant, unfocused on our conversation, which is unlike him," Jin sighed.
"This isn't the first time though, is it? He seems more withdrawn these days, hyung. He hardly plays overwatch with Tae anymore, he is mostly locked away in his room, coming out only when you call him for meals or when Namjoon decides he's been there way too long and physically drags him out of there. I'm...concerned about him."
"I am too. I just assumed that giving him some space and time to come to us would be better than confronting him. Cause you know how he is, Yoongi-ah. He'll say nothing is wrong and try harder to mask whatever it is that is bothering him. He'll forcefully involve himself in everything so we won't have to worry," said Jin, drying a plate and leaving it on the rack.
"Do you think it would be best to leave it and let him come to us?" Yoongi asked reluctantly.
"I'm honestly not sure."
"He's Jungkook. He's stubborn. You and I both know he won't come to us unless..."
"Unless it gets to a point where he can't bear it."
"Exactly, and I'm not... I'm not sure I want that, hyung."
"I don't either, Yoongs. But, well... I'll try and talk to him tonight and hope he brings it up by himself."
"I really hope he does."
