Gemini claps at Leo's words

Taurus has been together with Leo for over a year and he really loves her even though she can be a little crazy sometimes, it's one of the things he admires about her, but no matter what, Taurus can't seem to wrap his head around this new 'mission' of hers. The two girls, however, seem to have their heart set on this so there's no way he can change their minds but he might as well try to prevent any disaster which lies in their forthcoming future.

"Uh-huh...but do you really think this is such a great idea, meddling with their personal lives," Taurus tries to rationalize.

"It's not meddling, it's helping, and plus giving them a push in the right direction is what friends do, don't they?" Gemini reasoned

"Sorry Taur, but I'm with Gemini on this one, it's the start of a new term and I want it to be better than ever," Leo backed Gemini

Well he tried

"Anyway, now we should start the real meeting," Gemini said in an authoritative voice as if reading from a script

"Couple number 1: Libra and Aquarius,"

"Libra and Aquarius are my best friends, I have known them forever but they are so frustrating," Gemini shakes her head

"Tell me about it, both of them are so oblivious it's crazy,"

"I know, if only they would get together and then I can become the godmother to their first child," Gemini laments

"Oh they would have beautiful children," Leo says dreamily

Taurus isn't very well versed with romance but when he thinks about Aquarius and Libra together he can't quite seem to picture it, let alone their unborn children. Sure they are close and often spend time together but he can't get over the overwhelming platonic nature of their relationship. So he voices out his thoughts-

"Aquarius and Libra have been really close friends since forever, if there was something to happen between them, it would've happened already,"

"Not quite, in fact, the fear of ruining their friendship is the very reason they don't confess their love for each other," Leo reasoned

Gemini nodded her head in agreement

Leo's reasoning wasn't per se wrong but Taurus believed that if Aquarius liked a guy she wouldn't hesitate letting him know, as for Libra, Taurus likes to believe he isn't a total coward either but then again Gemini has known the both of them far longer than he has and it wouldn't be very unbelievable if they did get together so he kept his mouth shut.

"Now for couple number 2," Leo called

Gemini banged the table as drumroll.

So much for this being a secret meeting, Taurus sighed, again

"Scorpio and Aires,"

Taurus almost choked on his water.

Now Aquarius and Libra make sense, they both seem to care about each other and would probably make a healthy couple, Scorpio and Aires on the other hand are two of the most difficult people in the whole Milky Way galaxy and would sacrifice themselves to cannibals before snogging the other. But of course what does Taurus know so he just drinks his water and listens to the two girls' reasoning for this match made in hell.

"Aires is a very complex guy and he might come off as an asshole sometimes but he just needs someone to understand him,"

"He just needs a little affection and who better than Scorpio who is as strong-willed and tough as him,"

Yeah who better than Scorpio, Taurus thinks sarcastically, who kneed Aires in the crotch in 7th grade, Aires probably deserved it though

"Now for couple number three: Pisces and Capricorn"

Taurus' mind went blank, this is nearly not as bad a match as Aires and Scorpio but it is as confusing if not more, Taurus can't get over their undeniable non-chemistry, it's not that they aren't friends but the problem is that they are just that: just friends, they don't seem to have much in common and though Capricorn is civil with Pisces unlike with most people he doesn't seem to be too happy either. Capricorn at his best is when he has that twinkle in his eyes like when he aces a test or when he comes up with a really mean quip when arguing with some asshole on Reddit or when he beats Taurus at chess. As for Pisces, she's friendly with everyone including Capricorn but that seems about it.

Taurus was pretty confident in the assessment of his dear friend Capricorn so he decided to speak up -
"Capricorn is too big of an asshole for Pisces,"

Leo and Gemini laughed out loud

"You're funny Taur," Leo kissed him on the cheek

Taurus pouted, he wasn't trying to be funny.

"Capricorn is an asshole and he needs a sweetheart like Pisces to balance him out," Gemini said in a duh tone

"And last but not the least Sagittarius and Virgo," Gemini proclaimed

Taurus thought- like Aquarius and Libra, Sagittarius and Virgo have known each other since they were little as they are longtime neighbors, they aren't very fond of each other but they aren't as antagonistic with each other as Aires and Scorpio and they don't have much in common like Pisces and Capricorn. Also, Virgo hates Sagittarius' guts as she had told him.

Taurus however knew his reasons would fall on deaf ears so he just kept quiet and hoped for the best.
