Skylar's P.O.V.

"Come on, Jess. You can do it. Believe in yourself." I said as I timed Jesse, who was running his 4th lap after doing 8 stages of a workout that Hassleberry suggested. 

Military style. 

Jesse was breathing heavily as he was almost there. 

"Just a little more, Jess." I encouraged him. 

When he was done, I saw that his time was 4:17. 

"Good job, Jesse." I told him as I patted his shoulder. 

"Skylar!" I heard an all too familiar female voice call out.

I turned around and saw Alexis walking towards me. 

"Hey, Lexi." I greeted her. 

"What's wrong with Jesse?" she asked as Jesse was about to fall, but Hassleberry caught him. 

"I'll take him to rest. See you, private." he said before carrying Jesse away. 

I then turned my attention back to Alexis. "What's up?" I asked her. 

"I need help, Sky. It involves me and Jaden." she explained. 

"What is it?" I asked. 

"So lately, Jaden has been ignoring me. I don't know what's going on. He's been ignoring me ever since I had been helping some Ra yellow kid with his homework." she explained.

"Oh, no. He's not gonna be ignoring my best friend under any circumstances. You two belong together and I will make sure you two stay together. Let me help you out. You will need a good look." I told her as I grabbed her hand and led her out of the gym and to the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm. 

I took her to my room and set her down on my vanity chair. 

"Okay. Close your eyes." I told her before I took out my makeup bag. 

I never really used it, but it consisted of eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, and blush.

She closed her eyes before grabbing my eyeliner and slowly glided it on each her eyelids, making a little wing at the end. 

I turned her around before I got my mascara. 

"Open your eyes." I told her. 

She did and I began working on putting the mascara on her eyelashes until they were up and blended beautifully with her eyeliner. 

I then got my blush before I applied three strokes on each her cheeks. I then got my curling iron and plugged it in. 

"I'm sure Jaden's gonna love this and hopefully, it'll bring you two close again." I told her as I got my curling iron and began working on one strand after another.

After an hour and a half of working on Alexis, I was done. Her hair was in beautiful locks that reached her mid- back. She looked really beautiful and amazing. 

"You ready?" I asked her. 

She nodded and I turned her around before she opened her eyes and gasped. 

"I love it." she said. 

"I know. I'm great." I told her. 

"Thank you so much." she said as she hugged me. 

I smiled and hugged her back. When we separated, she stood up and I went to my closet, where I picked out a teal blue dress with rhinestones on the sides and was floor-length. 

"Go and put this on. It should fit you." I told her.

 She nodded before taking the dress and going to the bathroom.

I waited about 3 minutes before she came out wearing the dress. "Perfect." I told her. 

"Where's the necklace Jaden gave you?" I asked her. 

She went through her uniform skirt and took it out. The necklace was a heart that had the words 'I Love You' engraved on it. I took it and put it around her neck. 

"There. You're finished. Now, go and get your Elemental Hero back." I told her with a smile. 

She smiled before she nodded and left the room.

While I started clearing up the little area, I accidentally dropped a card of mine. I

 picked it up and saw that it was one of my Blue Eyes. An idea then popped into my head.

What if I tell Jaden somebody is meeting him in the woods and then secretly spy on him and Alexis and see how everything turns out?

I nodded to myself before I went outside. I began walking until I found Jaden. Perfect. 

"Hey, Jay!" I called out. 

"Hey, Sky! What's up?" he asked. 

"I was gonna tell you that there is gonna be somebody meeting you in the woods. They'll be there hopefully after you're there." I explained. 

"You got it, Sky." he said before he ran off.

When I was finally alone, I held up my card. 

"Come out." I commanded. 

With a blue light flashing, the mighty dragon came out. 

"Let's spy on Alexis and Jaden." I said as I got on her. 

She roared before she began flying into the sky. It was then I finally felt like we had to stop. 

"Fly down and stop." I ordered her. She flew down and landed. 

While the dragon was lying down, I peeked through the bushes, to see Alexis there.

"Alexis? What are you doing here?" I heard Jaden say as he saw her. 

"Oh, nothing. Just waiting for somebody." she said. 

"Oh, me too! But, why would be dressing up if you're gonna meet somebody?" Jaden asked. 

There was silence before Jaden gasped and realized exactly why he was there. 

"Your the one who was meeting me here." the brunette told the girl. 

"Yes, Jaden. I'm the one." Alexis admitted.

 "But why would you meet me here? Shouldn't you be helping that guy with his homework? Or in fact, be somewhere with him?" Jaden asked her.

"Why would you think that?" Alexis asked him.

"Because all you've been doing is hang around with him and I feel like you don't love me anymore, so that's why I have been acting distant towards you." he explained to her. 

 Alexis sighed before she walked to him and grabbed either side of his arms.

"Listen to me, Jaden. And listen good. I would never love somebody else other than you. Nobody has ever loved me as much as I love you. I've been with that Ra Yellow kid because he's a freshman and doesn't understand anything yet, so I offered to help him. Don't think that just because I'm helping somebody, doesn't mean that you're gonna lose me. I will always be yours, Jaden. You're the one who saved me from so many things, even the Society of Light. I love you, Jaden. Never forget that." she explained to him.

Jaden stayed silent for a moment before smiling. "I love you too, Lex. More than anything." 

He then gently put a hand on her cheek and slowly leaned in before capturing her lips in his. 

I tried my best not to squeal at my favorite couple finally pitting everything behind them. 

"Calm down, Skylar. Don't get too excited." I heard Magician's Valkyria tell me as she appeared. 

"Shh. I know." I replied I'm a quiet whisper before she disappeared.

I felt a smile grow only face as my heart warmed up at the sight of my two best friends finally back together, but stronger. 

My work here was done. 

Jaden and Alexis were back to being the happy, cheerful couple they have always been. 

If Jasmine and Mindy were here, I would have had a hard time keeping them quiet. 

I looked at my Blue-Eyes before I took out the card. 

"Return." I ordered in a whisper. 

The dragon went back into the card as I stood up and slowly walked away.

'Finally, the lovebirds are okay now.' I thought to myself.
