Skylar's P.O.V.

I was walking out the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm, not in my uniform, but a pair of blue pajamas and a white shirt, when I saw Xavier, Yugi, my father, and...Mokuba?!

"Mokuba!" I said as he ran to me and engulfed me in his strong arms. (A/N: Picture Mokuba as a teenager/grown-up, btw)

He has matured over the years. He now had slight muscles and a slightly built body as well as wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, but still had a vest on.

"Hey, Sky." he greeted.

"When did you get here?" I asked him.

"About 30 minutes ago. But, I'm not the only one." he said as he, my father, and Xavier turned their heads and I saw what made me want to cry.

It was my godmother and her friends. Tea, Serenity, Joey, Tristan, and Mai were all here!

I ran to them before they engulfed me in a group hug. I instantly let the tears fall and cried tears of joy.

Here I was. I was reunited with my family. We were all together again.

"Oh, sweetie! Yugi and Kaiba told us what happened! I'm so happy your okay!" Tea cried as she kissed my head. I let out a laugh and smiled.

"I thought you would be gone, squirt!" Joey said as he cried.

"I missed you, Skylar." Mai said as she kissed my head.

"I missed you too, Mai." I told her.

Tristan and Serenity cried as they said "We missed you!"

We all pulled away and smiled.

"Welcome, guys." I said as I wiped my tears as Xavier, Yugi, and my father and Mokuba came over.

"So, what happens now?" Mai asked.

"Well, we have finally came to a decision that to have the spirit who was possessing Skylar a while ago become somewhat good or get rid of her, Skylar would have to duel her." Kaiba said.

"She just got released from that spirit's control and now she has to duel her?" Tea asked with worry.

"I have to, Tea. Otherwise, everybody at this school will be in grave danger." I explained to them.

"Well, we will help you duel her." Joey said.

I shook my head.

"No, I won't put you guys in danger. When I was taken over, I hurt so many people. Now, I have to face her in a duel by myself." I told her.

"Skylar, that's crazy talk! We will always be here for you." Tristan said.

"I know that, but I don't want to get you guys hurt.

"She's right." my father said.

"Once, I almost lost Mokuba. I already lost Amanda. Now, I won't lose my daughter.

"She really did change you, did she?" Joey asked.

"What do you think? Yes." my dad replied.

"So, does everyone accept that I have to duel this spirit?" I asked them.

They all exchanged glances before nodding.

"Okay. First, I've got to get my dueling skills back on track. I haven't been dueling since I was freed." I told them.

"I'll duel you." Xavier said.

"I guess I could duel you, your beasts, and your dragons." I said.

"Guess you've accepted." he told me. I nodded before I activated my duel disk and he activated his before we took out spots.

"Game on." we both said.

"I'll make the first move. I draw." Xavier said as he drew his first card.

"I summon forth my Gazelle The King of Mythical Beasts in attack mode. Then, I'll place a face down and end my turn." he said.

"My move. I draw." I said.

"I summon forth my Magician's Valkyria in attack mode. Then, I will activate the equip spell, Black Pendant. Now, my Valkyria has 700 attack points." I said as Valkyria's ATK power went from 1600 to 2300.

"Now, I attack your Gazelle." I said.

"I activate my trap card, Impenetrable Attack. Even if my Gazelle is destroyed, I take no battle damage and my life points are safe." Xavier said as his monster was destroyed and his LP were fine.

"I end my turn with a face down and switch Valkyria to defense." I said as I tried my best to stay confident.

"Skylar, you're gonna have to gather all the confidence and strength inside you if you're gonna take on Carmen." Xavier said as he noticed my lack of confidence.

"How am I supposed to? I hurt so many people!" I said as Valkyria looked at me sadly.

"Skylar! It wasn't your fault! You were taken over! You don't have to blame yourself!" he told me.

I fell to my knees as a result.

Everybody was looking at me in worry.

"I'll try my best." I told him as I stood up.

"You okay now, Sky?" Mai asked.

I sent her a smile and nodded as I turned my attention back to the duel.

"I will summon my Masked Dragon and place a face down and end my turn." he said.

"My turn. I draw. I activate Pot of Greed, which allows me to draw two cards." I said as I drew two new cards.

"I will summon forth my Big Shield Gardna in defense mode. Then, I will summon forth my Winged Dragon, Guardian of The Fortress in attack mode. I now attack your Masked Dragon." I said as my dragon attacked Xavier's and his LP went from 4000 to 2600.

"Then, I will activate my face down, Deck Destruction Virus. With this card, it infects 10 random cards from your deck and sends them straight to the Graveyard." I said.

"Say what?!" Xavier said as he sweatdropped.

"You heard me." I said as my trap activated and 10 cards came out of his deck and sent them to the Graveyard.

"Seems like the old Skylar is coming back." Joey said.

"You said it." Tristan agreed.

"Then, I will end my turn by switching my Winged Dragon Guardian of The Fortress in defense mode. I place a face down. You go." I told him.

"Now, that's the Skylar I know. I use my Masked Dragon's special ability. When he's destroyed in battle, I can Special Summon one Dragon-Type monster with 1500 or less attack points from my Deck. I choose my Radius, The Half-Moon Dragon. Now, attack her Big Shield Gardna." he commanded.

I groaned as my monster was destroyed.

"Then, I activate the spell card, Ancient Rules. This allows me to Special Summon a Level 5 or higher monster from my hand. Come on out, Metaphys Armed Dragon!" he said as his most powerful monster came out.

"Now, attack her dragon!" he commanded.

My dragon was destroyed, but I laughed.

"Thanks for the attack. You activated my trap, Waboku. I take no battle damage." I told him as he groaned in frustration.

"I end my turn by activating Swords of Revealing Light." he said.

"I draw. Oh, look at this. I activate Ancient Rules. Since I can summon a Level 5 or above monster, I can summon my Dark Magician. Then, I will activate Card Destruction, so we discard our current hand and we draw the same amount of new cards we had before." I said as we did what the card told us.

"Then, I will summon Celtic Guardian and Queen's Knight. I sacrifice them to bring out Buster Blader." I said as one of my powerful warriors came out.

"And it gets better. I play Polymerization to fuse Buster Blader and Dark Magician in order to summon Dark Paladin." I said as one of my powerful Spellcasters came out.

"Now, I can discard one card and negate the activation if a Spell card was activated. Since it was Swords of Revealing Light, I can negate the effect and destroy it." I said as the swords disappeared.

"That's not all. For every dragon on the field or in either player's Graveyard, Dark Paladin gains 500 attack points." I told him.

"So that means?" Xavier said. "Oh yes. That's an extra 2000 attack points for a total of 4900." I said.

"Oh, no!" he said.

"Oh yes! Valkyria, attack him directly!" I commanded.

She flew to the air and aimed her staff at Xavier before blasting. His life points hit 1000.

"Now, Dark Paladin, attack his dragon and end this duel!"

Dark Paladin blasted his staff before destroying Xavier's monster.

Xavier dropped to the ground as his life points hit 0.

The monsters disappeared and I walked to him and knelt in front of him.

"Thanks for getting me back into dueling, Xavier. I appreciate it." I told him as I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You did pretty well today." I said.

Xavier smiled before getting up and holding his hand out to me. I smiled and took it as he helped me up.

"When are you gonna duel Carmen?" he asked me.

"Maybe tomorrow night or maybe the day after. I still need time." I told him as everyone else came to us.

They all hugged us and told us we did good. I smiled, knowing how much my family cared for me.

This was all I needed for now.
