Third Person P.O.V.

"Skylar! I know you can hear me! Don't let her take over you completely!" Jesse said.

"Shut it, Crystal Boy! Skylar's not here!" Skylar/Carmen said as she glared at him before turning her attention back to Chazz.

"Now, on with the duel! It's my move! I draw!" Skylar/Carmen said.

"I play the spell card, Graceful Charity. Now, I draw three cards. I summon forth Fierce Knight in attack mode! Now, Fierce Knight, attack his Peten The Dark Clown!" she commanded.

Fierce Knight then slashed the clown, making Chazz groan as his defense was gone.

"Now, I will summon Celtic Guardian and Alpha The Magnet Warrior, which I'll sacrifice both to bring out Dark Magician." she said as the two monsters vanished and the purple spellcaster came out.

"I'll end my turn now." she said.

  "I draw." Chazz said and again, due to Silent Magician's ability, she gained another Spell Counter and her attack points rose from 2000 to 2500.

"I will activate the trap card, Compulsory Evacuation Device, which let's me send a monster from the field back to my hand. I choose Summoned Skull." he explained as the fiend went back to his hand.

"Then, I will switch XYZ Dragon Cannon into defense. Also, when you destroyed Peten The Dark Clown, you activated it's special ability. I can summon back another Dark Clown in attack mode." he said.

"Now, attack her directly with Bloodlust Slash!" he commanded.

The clown then attacked Skylar/Carmen, who screamed from the impact and she clutched her chest as her life points went from 1400 to 600.

"I will switch Peten to defense and end my turn." he said.

'I still have my face down card. If I use it next turn, I might be saved.' he though to himself.

"I draw! I'll activate Raigeki! This spell lets me destroy all monsters on your side of the field!" she said. XYZ Dragon Cannon and Peten were destroyed.

"Then, I will activate the magic card, Poison of The Old Man! Now, I gain 1200 life points." she said as her life points went from 600 to 1800. "There's more. Since you have no monsters, my Dark Magician can attack you directly! Dark Magic Attack!" she commanded. Dark Magician blasted his scepter.

"I don't think so! I activate my face down trap card which I received to help out. It's called Draining Shield! I can negate your Dark Magician's attack and gain life points equal to his attack points!" Chazz said as the attack was negated and his life points went from 2500 to 5000.

"What?! It can't be!" Skylar/Carmen said as Chazz's life points increased.

"Oh, it be!" he replied. Skylar/Carmen growled.

"What's that gonna do? I still have my Silent Magician LV 4 and Ill have her attack you directly!" she said.

The Silent Magician LV 4 blasted and Chazz's life points fell from 5000 back to 2500.

"Now, I end my turn by having Dark Magician in defense and placing a face down." she said.

Chazz fell to his knees as he felt helpless. He felt as if there was no way he could save Skylar from Carmen. He felt as if it was too late.

"Chazz! Don't give up!" Jaden called out.

"Keep fighting!" Alexis encouraged.

"Do this for Skylar!" Hassleberry shouted.

"Stand up and keep on going!" Zane encouraged.

"You can do it, Chazz!" Atticus said.

"You got this! Get up!" Bastion said.

"You're 'The Chazz'! You never give up!" Jesse said.

"Toughen up!" Aster yelled.

"Gather up every bit of strength you have for Skylar!" Blair said.

"Do this for my daughter!" Kaiba shouted.

"Believe in yourself! Believe in the heart of the cards!" Yugi told him.

"Win this, Chazz!" Crowler said.

"You can do it!" Yubel and the Ojamas said as they appeared.

"Chazz it up! Chazz it up! Chazz it up!" the all cheered.

At his friends' words, Chazz felt stronger than ever and got up from the ground, clenching his fists.

He then sent a glare towards the girl in front of him.

"You may have a way of always beating me..." he started.

Just then, he opened his eyes and Skylar/Carmen gasped as she saw his eyes filled with strength, anger, and determination.

"...but you won't be able to stop me now!" he said.

Everybody gasped at how Chazz became brave all of a sudden.

It was at that moment where everybody realized that Chazz really did change.

In fact, he didn't just change.

Somebody changed him, and that somebody....was Skylar.

"My move! I draw!" he said. Again, because of Silent Magician LV4's ability, she gained a final Spell Counter and her attack power went up to 3000.

"I will play the spell card, Pot of Greed. Now, I draw two cards! I will summon another Peten The Dark Clown in defense. Then, I will play the trap, Defense Paralysis! With this card, any monster on your side of the field that's in defense position back to attack position. Also, I will activate the spell card, Mystical Space Typhoon! Now, your spell card is destroyed!" he said.

"Also, I activate another useful card called Shield and Sword. With this card, I can change a monster's attack points to their defense and their defense to attack points." he said as Dark Magician's attack power went from 2500 to 2100. "Now, I end my turn."
"I draw! Now, since my Silent Magician LV4's attack power is now 3000, I can send her to the Graveyard in order to summon out, Silent Magician LV8!" she said.

"Then, I'll activate her special ability. She is unaffected by any spell card effects you control." she said.

"Now, Silent Magician LV8, attack his Dark Clown!" she commanded.

The spellcaster blasted and his clown was destroyed. Chazz groaned as his defense was gone.

"Now, attack him directly!" she commanded. Chazz's life points then went from 2500 to 1100. "I will also activate the equip spell, Black Pendant! Now, my Silent Magician gains 500 attack points and you lose 500." she said as her monster's power rose from 3000 to 3500 and Chazz's life points went from 1100 to 600.

"Now, I'll end my turn." she said.

"My move! I draw!" Chazz said. He then looked at one of the useful cards Dorothy had given him. "I play the trap card, Wish of Final Effort. Now, the attack points from my clown go to my life points." he said as his life points went from 600 to 1400 .

"Then, I will activate the trap known as Divine Wrath! By discarding 1card from my hand, I can negate your Silent Magician's effect and destroy it!" he said as Skylar/Carmen's monster was destroyed.

"Since that monster is out of the way, I play the spell card, Monster Reborn! Come forth, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" he said as the previously destroyed dragon came on his side of the field.

"No! It can't be! With my Dark Magician having his attack power switched, he's no match for it!" Skylar/Carmen said.

"Now, this duel is gonna be over! Because now, I will sacrifice Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in order to summon the mighty Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!" he said as the mighty dragon came out.

"And for every dragon in the grave, the Shining Dragon gains 300 points. Since there is one, the attack power if a grand total of 4800." he said.

"Now, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, attack her Dark Magician!" he commanded. "Shining Neutron Blast!"

Skylar/Carmen screamed as her monster was destroyed and her life points hit 0.

Just then, a bright light shined in front of her, which made the darkness in Skylar's heart disappear, (which was indeed Carmen) as she fell to the ground, unconscious.
