A/N: This is gonna be a flashback chapter. It's gonna show Skylar and her parents as well as her uncles before her mom died. This will also be a kinda short chapter. Enjoy!

    *Flashback*

 A four-year old Skylar Serenity Kaiba was currently munching on some chicken casserole her mother had made. 

"It's so yummy, Mommy." Skylar said. 

"I'm glad you like it, sweetie. I made lots of it. I'm putting the leftovers in the microwave so you can have more later." Amanda said to her daughter.

After putting the leftovers in the microwave and leaving two plates for her and Kaiba, she heard the door open. She smiled as she saw Seto there. She smiled as she went over to him and gave him a peck on the cheek. 

"Welcome home, honey." she said as Kaiba went to the table and greeted Skylar. 

"Hi, sweetheart." he said as he kissed his daughter's head.

  "Daddy!" she said as she hugged him. Kaiba smiled at his adorable daughter and hugged her back. 

"Why don't we eat dinner and after that, we can go to the park?" Amanda suggested. 

"Yes!" Skylar said happily. 

"Okay. So it is." Kaiba said. Mokuba and Xavier came in and greeted their family before going to the table and eating as well.

After the five of them finished their food, they all got inside the limo and were drove to the park. 

The way over there, Amanda and Kaiba smiled as they saw their daughter playing with her stuffed Dark Magician Girl. 

When Amanda found out she was pregnant, she was ecstatic, but also worried about what Seto would say. Luckily, she had no reason to be because when Seto found out, he was thrilled that he would have a child to train to be a duelist like him. 

With the support of Mai, Tea, Serenity, Joey, Yugi, and Tristan, she made it through the 9 months and had her beautiful baby girl.

When they got to the park, Skylar went outside and smiled as she ran to the swings. She got on one and giggled as she tried to make herself go up. 

Kaiba smiled at his daughter before going to her and pushing her. 

Mokuba and Xavier smiled as their niece giggled playfully as she was being pushed by Kaiba. When their niece was born, they were happy that they would have a niece to support whenever she would need them.

As Kaiba was pushing Skylar, Amanda smiled at her husband. 

"She adores you." she told him. Seto smiled as his daughter was finally swinging herself. 

Kaiba went to his wife and wrapped his strong arms around her. He looked at her before giving her a chaste kiss. They looked at Skylar, who was racing on the swing against Mokuba.

"We made a beautiful, healthy babygirl." Amanda told the love of her life. 

"We sure did. If we didn't encounter each other during Battle City, none of this would've happened. I'm so glad I met you and have a family." he said. 

"I love you." he said, placing a kiss on his lover's forehead. 

"I love you, too." she replied.

Meanwhile, Skylar was now with Mokuba and Xavier playing tag. She laughed as she tapped Mokuba. 

"Tag, you're it!" she said. Mokuba laughed before chasing after Skylar. 

Mokuba then tagged Xavier. It was then Skylar spotted an ice cream truck. She went to her uncle Mokuba. 

"Mokuba, can Xavier and I get ice cream?" she asked.

"Sure. We can get some for your parents, too." he replied with a smile as he put Skylar on his shoulders and went to the ice cream truck, Xavier following behind them.

Skylar got a vanilla come with marshmallows and sprinkles, Xavier and Mokuba got chocolate, and they got strawberry and vanilla for Kaiba and Amanda. When they got back to the swings, they gave Amanda and Seto their ice cream. 

As they ate their ice cream, the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon appeared before Xavier, Skylar, and Amanda. 

Skylar had inherited the ability to see duel spirits from Amanda and Xavier.

"Blue-Eyes!" Skylar said. Kaiba knew his daughter could see duel spirits as well his his other two family members so he decided to not judge her or any of them about it. 

The dragon spirit smiled as she watched the little girl whom she had been hoping would have her in her dueling deck when she got older.

After spending time at the park, it was already getting dark. "

Time to go home, everybody." Amanda said as she picked up Skylar and began walking to the limo. 

The guys followed after her and they all got inside the limo. When they were in, Seto looked at Skylar. 

"Sweetie?" he asked. 

"Yes?" she answered. 

"Do you want to be like Mommy and Daddy someday? Do you want to duel?" he asked her. 

"Yes!" she replied with a smile. She was very intelligent for a four-year old.

"Well, since you do, here." he said as he took a card out. 

"What is it?" she asked. 

"Turn it around and find out." he told her as he gave it to her. She turned it around and saw the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon card. 

"Dad! I love it!" she said as she studied the picture. 

"I'm glad." he said as they continued their way home.

The Kaiba family finally got home and Skylar said she was tired. Amanda and Seto took her to their room, where she slept in between them. 

As they were sleeping, the spirit of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician Girl appeared and looked down at their masters and their child, who they always kept company when her parents or uncles were busy. 

They looked at each other before smiling and nodding.
