Chazz's P.O.V.

Dammit. Skylar, or should I say Carmen, ran off once again. 

I just wanted to get rid of the spirit possessing the girl I had fallen in love with. All because of that horrible necklace, she won't be with us anymore of we don't save her.

 Call me crazy, but I want to give up my rivalry with everybody for her. I want to start fresh.

'Boss! We might have found a way to bring Skylar back for at least a temporary amount of time." Ojama Yellow said as he appeared to the raven-haired teen. 

"What do you little dweebs think?" I told them. 

"Skylar can't swim. So, if you somewhat have her make contact with the water by falling in, maybe she can come back for a while." Ojama Green told him.

(A/N: This is basically gonna be the same way on how Ayato managed to bring Yui out of Cordelia's grip for a while on the anime, Diabolik Lovers)

Chazz nodded before the Ojamas disappeared. 

"Guys." I said, making Jesse, Yugi, and Kaiba look at me. 

"What is it, Chazz?" Jesse asked me. 

"I think I have a way to bring Skylar back. Even for only a little while." I told them. 

"She can't swim. Maybe if we push her into the lake or ocean, we can somehow bring her back." Chazz said.

"What?! You can't!" Kaiba said. "Are you crazy?!"

"Relax, Kaiba. I'm an excellent swimmer." I told him. 

"Are you sure this is an option to set her free for a bit?" Yugi asked. 

"Yes, now, let's go." I said before I started running, the guys following behind me. 

Soon, we were at the docks and we saw Carmen/Skylar there. 

She seemed to have sensed us coming because she chuckled darkly.

"What will you losers do?" she said with a smirk as she turned around. 

"Well, Carmen. Close your eyes and I'll show you something." I said. 

I knew I would regret pushing her into the water, but this was the only way. 

Carmen shut her eyes before I slowly walked to her and pushed her into the water, her gasping as she fell before she was inside.

We waited until we saw her come up, trying to stay up. 

"Somebody help me! I can't swim!" she said. I looked at her eyes and saw that she was back to normal. 

Instantly, Jesse dove in and saved her before bringing her back up to the dock.

Skylar's P.O.V.

I saw a light blinding me and before I knew it I found myself being engulfed with water. I gasped as I tried to stay up. 

Because of my thrashing, my head started to hurt bad. "Somebody help me! I can't swim!" I yelled. 

Soon, I felt myself being grabbed and brought up to the surface. I coughed up water before I caught my breath and then when I looked up, I felt like crying.

"Dad! Yugi!" I said as I was engulfed in a hug by my father and godfather. 

"Skylar, are you okay?" Yugi asked. "Yeah." I replied. 

"My little girl. I was so worried about you." my father told me. 

"What happened?" I asked as I looked at Jesse and Chazz, who were standing next to each other. Yugi released me, but Dad still had his arms around me as he looked at my two love interests

"Well, I figured out a way to get rid of the spirit possessing you, Carmen for a while, so the way was that since you can't swim, you had to be pushed into the water so Carmen could not swim in your body and it ended here." Chazz explained. 

"Well, first of all, thank you. Second of all, what the hell?" I asked.

"Anytime, Skylar." Chazz said. Dad and Yugi helped me up before all of a sudden, I was engulfed in a hug by Jesse.

 I hesitated, but soon relaxed and hugged him back. Judging by how soaked he was, he was the one who dove in.

"I am so glad my best friend is okay." Jesse said. 

"It's okay. We'll figure out a way to get rid of Carmen." I told him. 

We pulled away and I looked to Chazz, who came over to me and hugged me tightly.

The way Chazz was holding me was as if he didn't want to let me go or I would just disappear from him forever. 

I hugged him back as he stroked my hair. 

"I will save you." he whispered quietly so the others wouldn't hear him. I smiled and nodded before we pulled away. 

"How are Tea and the others?" I asked. 

"Well, they're on their way over here because I told them about what had happened." my father explained.

Dad put an arm around me as we all decided to head back to head to the infirmary so I could get medicine for my head. 

I looked and saw that on the other side of the room, Syrus was there lying down, sleeping. 

Jaden was sleeping by him as well. I smiled at the sight of those two. 

Miss Fontaine gave me some medicine and a towel before I was layed on the bed by Yugi. 

"Rest up. We will be watching over you." Yugi told me as he took off my Millennium necklace and sat down beside me.

He placed my Millennium necklace underneath my pillow before I decided to fall asleep.

*Dream*

I found myself into he same dark realm I was in before. 

"Really? Again?" I asked myself. 

"Yes, again. And since your resting, I can finally go back inside your body." I heard Carmen's voice say as she appeared to me. 

"Like hell I'd let you!" I said as I clenched my fists. "

Your little friend can keep on assisting me." she told me as she reached her hands out to me. 

I tried to fight her off, but it was too late.

"No!" I yelled.

*End of Dream*

Third Person P.O.V.

The young girl's eyes snapped open, but they weren't her normal eyes. 

They were the same lifeless, cold eyes. She looked and saw that Chazz, Jesse, Yugi, and Kaiba were sleeping. 

Skylar/Carmen smirked as she got up from the bed as quietly as she could and reached under the pillow and got her necklace before clasping it around her neck. 

She went to where Syrus was sleeping and stood there. Her eyes glowed green and Syrus's eyes snapped open. 

He looked at her and smirked.

Syrus got up from the bed and they quietly walked before they exited out of the infirmary and into the hallway. 

"Good to be back in my body." she said as she and Syrus laughed evily, walking away as the sun began to set.
