"Seto! Seto!" Katie screamed as she raced towards me.
"Woah! Katie what's wrong?!" I asked as she slams into me.
"Those boys beat me up and took Mokuba's favorite toy plane again!" She sobbed.
"THEY DID WHAT?!" I screamed. I took Katie's hand and drug her outside to the playground where the older kids liked to play.
"Shit! Here comes Seto!" One of the boys yelled as I stomped over.
"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?!?!?!" I screamed at them. I tackled one of the boys to the ground and punched him in the face.
The other boys grabbed me. I soon was in an all out brawl with them. Katie was crying as she watched us.
"What's going on here?" A man asked.
The boys backed away from me. I turned to see who it was. I gasped. It was Gozaborro Kaiba! The owner of Kaiba Corp!
"Well hello there. You're name is?" He asked me.
I gulped. Mokuba hid behind me. Katie clung to my arm.
"I'm Seto. This is my sister, Katie. And that's my brother, Mokuba," I said.
"Hmmm. They say you're going at games. Are you?" He asked.
I smiled mischievously. Every time someone wanted to adopt me, I insist they adopt my siblings as well. Which hasn't worked. But today it was going to be different.
"I am. I challenge you to three games to show you. And each game I win means you adopt one of the three of us. Deal?" I asked.
Gozaborro laugh. "Deal," He said.
Two games later...
Gozaborro Kaiba looked at me in shock. He lost for the second time. He took the adoption papers for Mokuba and signed them. Then he signed the ones for me.
"One more game. If you lose this one you have to adopt Katie," I said.
Gozaborro sighed. I set up the chessboard again. I smiled at him. He scowled back.
"You first," I said.
I had to win. I had to for Katie's sake. I couldn't leave her. I had promised my mother before she died that I'd keep the three of us together.
Gozaborro made the first move. Soon things took a turn for the worst. I had been cornered. I couldn't move. I had lost.
"S-Seto?" Katie stammered.
"I can't move. I lost," I said as I hung my head.
"Then it's check mate," Gozaborro said with a laugh.
"Please sir?! Please don't leave Katie here?!" I begged.
"I don't need four kids. I already have Noah. I don't want her. Plus you and I had a deal," Gozaborro said coldly.
"But she our sister! I'm not leaving her!" I yelled.
"You are and that's final," Gozaborro said.
"But I," I started.
"Seto..." Katie said as she placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Katie?"
"Go," she said.
"WHAT?!" I screamed.
Katie covered her ears. She rocked back and forth trying to calm down. Loud noises bothered Katie's ears and upset her. Katie was autistic.
"I'm sorry Katie. I didn't mean to yell at you," I said softly.
"I-I'm okay," Katie said. Katie would always stuttered when she was afraid or sad.
"Seto come here. We're leaving," Gozaborro growled. I looked at Katie. Mokuba rushed over and hugged her.
"I love you Katie," Mokuba said trying not to cry.
"I-i love y-y-you too Mokuba," she said. Mokuba let go of Katie and walked slowly towards Gozaborro. Katie turned to me.
"L-love you Seto. I a-always will. Th-this isn't goodbye. Goodbyes a-are for f-forever. Th-this is f-farewell," Katie said. I felt the tears rushing down my face.
"How did I get so lucky to have you as a sister?" I asked.
She shrugged. "J-just luck-y I g-guess," she said with a big smile.
I hugged her tight and whispered, "farewell Katie. I will bring us together again one day."
"Pr-promise?" She asked.
"I promise," I said.
