Fun fact, I have never written or read much stuff in this genre.

I'm personally not a huge fan of that stuff (not me getting terrified of DHMIS despite me loving the series sm) so yeah I'm pretty weak when it comes to scary stuff.

I just googled 'list of gothic stories' and Frankenstein was the second one. My sister just read that book this year (she's a senior) and I have not yet but it is on my list.

I'll get there when I get there so uh- I have no real advice for that I'm sorry.

I do know that Frankenstein is more of a like...human nature story.
