MCYT Role-players: Pumpkin Carving
So I haven't written about you guys in a while, but let's hope this turned out alright! I mostly included people who I know are online so you're gonna see Cleo, Joel, Etho, Pearl, Lizzie, and Owen. If I got any of your pronouns wrong, I'm sorry. I really did try and use the nonbinary ones for Pearl but I'm sorry if I got them wrong or wrote them weirdly.
ENJOY
Lizzie excitedly dragged Pearl to the market.
"Why are we here?" Pearl sighed, yawning, "It's too early for this."
"Cleo's stand for pumpkins is opening soon and we're gonna get the best one." Lizzie said, folding her arms.
"Can't you just ask her to set one aside for you? You are her daughter."
Lizzie sighed, "Stop being so logical."
Pearl laugend and Lizzie rolled her eyes.
The stand opened and Lizzie started to browse the pumpkins they had.
"Oooo." Lizzie picked up a white pumpkin and turned around to show it to Pearl when she realized xe was gone.
Lizzie glanced around and saw Etho nearby.
"Etho, have you seen Pearl?"
"Er- no, I haven't. Everything okay?"
"I swear every time I take my eyes off xim, xe disappears."
"Tell me about it." Etho sighs, looking over at Joel who was picking up a bruised pumpkin.
"Joel, stop trying to smash the pumpkins."
"They're already smashed, I'm just taking them out of their misery." Joel smirked.
"If you break that you're paying for it."
"You're not my mom!" Joel shouts before rolling the pumpkin down a nearby hill.
It picked up speed and smashed against the fence at the bottom.
Joel cheered and Etho sighed, shaking his head.
Lizzie giggled and patted Etho's back.
"I'm so sorry." She whispered.
She continued on her search and eventually saw Owen and Pearl trying to heave a giant pumpkin into the bed of a truck.
"Pearl! What the heck?!"
Pearl turned around and smiled.
"Hey! Look at what I found!"
"Where the heck-?!" Lizzie gasped as she walked over.
Pearl smiled proudly.
"You said you wanted a big pumpkin so I got this one." Pearl bragged and Lizzie laughed.
"I love you so much, you know that?" Lizzie smiled and Pearl blushed a bit.

Later on, the two sat down as they stared at their pumpkin. After deciding that carving it would be tricky, they put up Halloween themed lights and decorations on it.
Luckily, they picked out a medium normal sized pumpkin that they planned to carve and put out side their doorstep.
"What's something scary?" Lizzie hummed, tapping her chin.
"The Monopoly Man." Pearl said in a dangerous whisper.
"Hm? What was that?" Lizzie looked up at her partner.
Pearl had a fearful, dark expression and Lizzie got worried
Pearl grabbed the carving knife and got started.
"W-wait! What are you doing?" Lizzie tried to peek over Pearl's shoulder, but xe stopped her.
"You'll see." Pearl whispered, smiling.
Lizzie sat back and watched as Pearl got to work.
After about half an hour, Pearl finished carving and showed Lizzie.
Lizzie burst out in giggles.
"Pearl, he can't hurt you!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!"
Lizzie laughed and smiled.
"It's perfect." She gently placed a fake candle inside and placed it outside their door.
"What do you wanna do with the pumpkin guts?" Pearl asked, pointing at the newspaper that held the pumpkin goo.
"Do you think we can put it in a jar?" Lizzie asked.
Pearl blinked before shrugging.
"Why don't we find out?"
They transferred some of it into a jar, but Pearl kept some of it in a bag.
Lizzie was confused at why, but later that night when Joel and Etho came over so they could all walk to Owen's Halloween party together, Pearl ran towards the door, swung it open, and threw a handful of the pumpkin goop at Etho.
Etho shut his eyes as it hit him in the face and he let out a long sigh.
Joel burst out in laughter but Etho wiped it off and slapped it on Joel's back.
"Wha- HEY!"
Etho chuckled and Joel grumbled.
"HAHAHA GET GOT SUCKERS!" Pearl shouted and threw more.
Joel quickly jumped behind Etho and afterwards, Lizzie helped Etho clean up while Joel and Pearl argued in the living room.
"I'm so sorry." Lizzie laughed, giving Etho a spare hoodie.
"It's fine." Etho shrugged, "Honestly it's my fault for not expecting that."
Lizzie giggled.
"We need to stop visiting you guys, you're giving Joel too many prank ideas." Etho chuckled as they walked out to the living room, getting ready to hang out with the others for Halloween night.
