Nathan quickly took the ball and passed it to Jhon, he himself darted ahead. Vera went to take the ball from Jhon and Xenia tried to cover Nathan from ahead. Seth hung at the back.

John was about to pass the ball when Vera took the ball and started ahead and scored an easy goal.

They all went back to their position, all except Seth, he still hung behind. Nathan started the game again by passing it to John who quickly kicked it above, Vera tried to take the ball but, Nathan took the ball first- playing his height to the advantage. He took a headshot scoring a perfect goal.

Vera started the game, she passed the ball to Xenia, who started to the other side with the ball, Jhon came in front of her, she skillfully dodged him before passing it to Vera who was just near to take a perfect shot, when she saw Nathan running towards her. She quickly chipped the ball, so that the ball soared over him directly towards Xenia who had a perfect shot..... that she missed, by a couple of inches. The ball bounced outside the field.

John ran and caught the ball, returning to the line who took the position for the throw. Xenia and Vera both covered Nathan. Jhon threw the ball high, so much that it had crossed the half-line before the girls could figure out the throw.

Nathan was already running to take the shot, Seth noticed the precession of the throw and saw that Nathan could easily take the shot, he now agreed with Vera that they were truly a team.

As predicted by him, Nathan took the ball, it bounced a little because of the high speed, Seth had waited was this very moment, taking a high jump- all thanks to the training, he kicked the ball past Jhon, Xenia, and Vera. Between the post. It was a goal. Seth landed, with Nathan a little behind him as he had ran ahead.

"What was that, I had never had a player doing that in front of me. If I knew you could do that I would have taken better care, you were awesome" Nathan said a little surprised.

"Thanks, that was nothing," Seth said modestly before, the girls came and pounced on him, only vera pounced Xenia just came and gave him a thumbs up and helped him to get up.

"That was a dead shot, no way are you telling me that you ain't a pro" Vera squeaked.

Seth just smiled, a little embarrassed,

"Let's focus on the match, should we," he said a little later and they went to the midline.

Nathan was already there, John gave him a two-finger salute in appreciation, Seth acknowledged it with a nod.

Nathan started the game by passing the ball to Jhon who, instead of taking it to their side started taking the ball to his own side, Vera started towards him, while Xenia stood at the center, to see what will be happening.

John took the ball and was almost near their own goal with Vera just behind him when he kicked the ball with the back of his heels with such force that it quickly reached Nathan past the midline, to a corner. A clear shot to the goal- which Nathan made.

Before they could gather again at the center, Seth made a timeout sign, all his team members gathered around him.

"Okay, we are at a tie now, we can't afford to be silly, we have to play carefully now.... I have a plan" Seth said and they huddle closer. Seth told them the plan.

"Brilliant" Ken exclaimed, the girls also nodded in excitement.

They all went to the ground but, Seth went to the post whereas, ken came ahead beside vera, xenia took the other side.

"We want a goal kick" Seth shouted the boys nodded and covered both the girls, Nathan took vera while John covered xenia.

Seth took the shot and it went directly to ken who had started running just before the ball was shot, he was well past the midline, it was difficult for both of them to reach him but, they both took running after him the girls ran behind them.

Vera was behind everyone, and she seemed to be smiling. Ken had just neared the goal when he took the shot, Christine jumped to catch the ball, she did manage to save it but, the ball had bounced up high.

Nathan was just taking a sigh of relief, when Vera jumped up with a nasty smile, kicked the ball in midair, and scored.

"Hurrah!" ken cheered out loudly.

Seth looked at Vera and grinned, Xenia ran towards her and they hugged, all the others came around, till the time they separated. Christine congratulated Vera, smiling. The boys were a different case, especially John. Nathan came around and congratulated them too.

"That was a good shot," he said grudgingly.

"You came with a good plan, that was totally unexpected," he said turning to Seth.

"What do you mean?" john asked confused.

"The first shot was supposed to miss, it was all planned. The second shot was the scoring shot, and it worked" he explained.

"You are right" Seth accepted.

John just nodded and eyed Seth a little jealously, Seth met his eye and John quickly looked away.

"Let's have some drinks, what do you all say," Christine said.

"Yep, it's on me," Nathan said in good sports, Ken and Vera hollered and John nodded.

"What about you both" Ken asked looking at Xenia and Seth.

"I will pass, I have to go home. I have been out all day, sorry" he apologized "You guys go ahead"

"I think he is right, we will have to go, sorry guys"

"This isn't right, you were the one who called the meeting Zee, you quitting the party isn't fitting" Nathan urged "Seth you are here for fun, what joy if you miss all the parties"

Both of them considered for a moment then Xenia finally spoke,

"I am sorry Nath but, we will have to go," she said with a sorry face.

"It's fine, if they don't want to come, we should go," John said rudely. Everybody looked at him "What, it's not like we can force them, can we"

"Okay, I think we should go," Vera said lightly, sensing the tension "this is the last chance to join you two," she said playfully, both of them declined.

"I am okay if you both ain't coming but, I guess you will want to come meet me at the Claw Point tomorrow, I will show you around, Seth. I assure you, that would be amazing" Nathan said as they all walked away, leaving them alone.

They started moving towards the roads.
