How is that possible, he was getting the signal perfectly the other day didn't he. he thought, I won't be able to send messages to anybody now, what a drag. with those thoughts, keeping the mobile on the side table, he finally went to sleep.

Even then it was long before he slept. He kept thinking about the church, various ideas, and possibilities roamed in his mind.

He woke up the next day at the same time the day before, early in the morning, freshening up, he went to the balcony. The morning was still chilly, as the sun has just risen. He liked the silent and the cold atmosphere, waiting there for some time, he went back into his room and then downstairs. He entered the kitchen, only to see Anna there making breakfast.

"You up already, I thought you would be up late. Seeing that you did a lot yesterday" Anna said stirring the pot.

"It's nothing, might be out of habit," Seth said with a shrug.

"Well, it's rare to see such boys" she complimented him, with a sweet smile, making him a little red "The breakfast is not ready yet, they will be ready in some time, you can look around the garden if you want till then" Anna offered.

"Surely," he said with a nod and went past the kitchen door into the garden, it was a beautiful garden with green grass and various flowers, he could see no weed around, though there were holes dug at the corner.

Must be for other plants he thought and turned to look at the flower table beside him. He saw there were roses, irises, lilies, nasturtiums.......and a blue flower that looked like it might be a blue lily, he didn't know what it was but, he liked them instantly.

He noted to himself to ask about these flowers to Anna. He walked around the garden after that, taking in all the beauty of the surroundings and the fresh cool air. He found two more flower tables, sporting the same flower.

He returned back to the kitchen, when he started feeling hot, he looked up to see that the sun was high now. Anna was just taking the pot off the stove when he entered the kitchen.

"Breakfast's ready, could you go and call Xenia for the breakfast, she isn't up yet," Anna said seeing Seth, who nodded and went up the stairs to call Xenia.

He reached her door, he took hold of the knob and was about to push the door open, when he felt force from the other side and the door opened. He lost his balance and fell upon Xenia who had just opened the door.

He quickly got up "I am sorry Zee, are you alright" he apologized.

"Do I look alright?" she asked grunting, Seth helped her to get up, "What were you doing outside my room?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Anna asked me to call you, breakfast's ready"

"So, you weren't spying then" she asked narrowing her eyes.

"Why would I spy on you, you don't hide anything precious for me to spy," he said amused at her sudden doubts.

"I guess you are right, I am tired that must be why I am asking such question, forgive me," she said as they started down to the kitchen.

Anna had just set the table, they all took their seat. Anna poured a white mesh into his bowl, Seth looked at it confused.

"Don't tell me you have never eaten Aliot before" she asked seeing his confused looks.

"Aliot- what is this dish," he said confusion still etched on his face.

"It's..." Xenia started to say but, Anna stopped her.

"Why don't you taste it, can you guess what is it made of" Anna challenged.

Seth spooned some of the white mesh and hesitantly took a bite from it.

"hmm... feels good and cheesy," he said after a moment "I think it is potatoes, mayonnaise, cheese, and sauce. I can't say which sauce though"

"Right you are, dear. It's mashed potatoes with Tomme cheese" Anna said nodding her head.

"This is delicious, thanks for this Anna," he said eating another spoon.

"This is nothing. If, you really want to thank somebody then thank xenia. I made this because it's her favorite dish"

"I can clearly taste, why this is her favourite dish," Seth said making them all laugh.

"now-now, eat up slowly," Anna said to Xenia and Seth, "how was the garden, Seth. Did you like it"

"Yes, the garden's a real beauty"

"Thanks, Xenia maintains the garden. She is a good gardener"

"That she is" Seth agreed "I especially liked the blue lilies"

"What blue lilies, there isn't any in the garden. Wait a minute- are you talking about Delphinium" xenia said suddenly.

"Are they the blue flowers, just like lilies?" Seth asked.

"Yes," xenia confirmed.

"Then I am talking about Delphinium"

"Did you touch that flower" xenia asked alarmed?

"Why, what would happen if I touched it"

"First tell me did you touch the Delphinium or not," she asked a little worried now.

"No, if that is what you want to know" Xenia heaved a sigh of relief as she heard this.

"Why shouldn't have Seth touched those flowers," Anna asked, she had stopped eating.

"Well, they are poisonous flowers, it would have been fatal for him if, he would have touched it," she said seriously.

"What are poisonous plants doing in the garden, Xenia!" Anna asked shocked at what she had heard, the same question was there in his mind too.

"I planted them at first so that the flowers could be safe from the insects and other parasites that would harm the plants," she said a little sheepishly.

"You grew a poisonous plant in the garden only to keep the plants away from harm, you didn't even inform me about that. What if I would've accidentally smelled it or touched it, what were you thinking XENIA" Anna shouted at her carelessness.

"I was going to pluck them out soon, you needn't have worried at all" she assured.

"You'd better," Anna said with a huff a started eating.

Seth felt bad for Xenia, it was his mistake that Anna scolded him, if only he would have asked her about the flower when they were alone, this might not have happened.

He looked towards Xenia and mouthed a silent sorry, Xenia gave a small smile signaling she was okay. They got up from the table after breakfast and went to the living room. Anna went to do the dishes.

"I am sorry, I should've been careful" he apologized.

"It's not your fault and that helped, at least now gran knows that the blue flowers are poisonous... you should get ready, meet me at the door"

"Why..."

"Don't you want to go to the eagle sanctuary"

"Oh, yeah right, I will meet you there in few minutes"

"Okay, I will wait at the front," she said and walked away.
