"Jack you are alive" Seth exclaimed and got up from the bench as Jack made his way towards him two cups in his hands.

"Yep, I am perfectly fine," Jack said giving him a big smile.

"I thought...you were... like others," Seth said and he could see Jack's face darken when he said this.

"I would've killed them all, if only I was there," Jack said seethingly.

"Why, where were you when it happened," Seth asked sitting down back on the bench.

"Colt had ordered me to take the bikes to our garage. I was modifying those bikes while I was there" Jack told Seth sitting beside Seth, "I came to the base yesterday morning, to see a crowd gather around there..."

Seth already knew what he meant. He took his coffee and looked at it, concentrating.

"Mom and dad are dead too," Seth said not looking up from the cup.

"I know, a gas leak," Jack said looking at Seth.

"It wasn't a damn gas leak, they were killed" Seth shouted spilling out some of his coffee.

"I know that Seth, do you think I am a fool. If it was a gas leak then your neighbors shouldn't be breathing either" Jack said placing a hand on Seth's shoulder.

Seth calmed down a little then turned to look at Jack.

"How did you find about me......" Seth started to ask then trailed off, realizing the stupidity of the question he had just asked.

"You were the main entertainment show on every major news channel, it wasn't hard," Jack said with a raised eyebrow a smile tugging on his lips.

"Entertainment, really," Seth said with a tired but genuine smile.

"Yes, what did you do," Jack asked taking a sip from his cup.

"Well it wasn't my fault they kidnapped me and took me there. I just escaped, I have the right to freedom afterall" Seth protested.

"Tell me in details, if you please Seth", Jack said leaning back and getting comfortable.

So he told him the whole story, right from the kidnapping to his time in the cell, his interrogation about the keys...

"What, he asked you about the keys" Jack exclaimed.

"Yes,"

"What did you tell him, Seth, you don't know anything about the keys," Jack said looking at Seth wide-eyed.

"I know everything about the warehouse keys Jack. You were the one who told me about it, don't you remember" Seth said looking at Jack as if something was wrong.

"Oh, yeah right. I forgot sorry" Jack said sheepishly, "Don't tell me you told him about where the warehouse key is"

"I did," Seth said looking away. "I told him about just one warehouse though, he tortured me...." Seth said slowly.

"What did he do," Jack asked worriedly. Seth could feel Jack's gaze looking all over him.

"I am fine, its......" with this Seth told him about that burning sensation and all the other things, he ended by telling him how he got out of there.

"You were lucky that you didn't encounter anyone while you escaped and I am happy to see that you are safe and sound," Jack said and gave him a tired smile.

"I can't even express how glad I am to find out that you are alive," Seth said and then hugged him.

"I know it has been hard you are a brave lad Seth," Jack said patting him on the back. He didn't move away and let Seth cry as they hugged.

Seth pulled away in a minute and looked away ashamed of his broke down.

"Looks like you really are brave, took you only a minute to gather yourself up," Jack said giving a huge smile and Seth chuckled.

Jack might not be as funny as Yash but, he had his own way to make Seth smile.

"We have to leave this country and stay low at some other country," Jack said becoming serious.

"Where, do you have any plans," Seth asked sitting up straight.

"Do you have the reservation ticket that you booked to Èze for Chase?" Jack asked reminding Seth of the ticket.

It looked like so long away when he had taken the ticket, Seth nodded.

"Good, I will book a ticket while we go to the airport," Jack said, and then taking out his phone he did something in it for a while.

"What are you doing Jack," Seth asked trying to look at what he was doing.

"I am looking for the next available flight to Èze........" Jack trailed off "......got it there's a flight to Èze at seven in the evening, we can get that"

Seth nodded and they both got up,  Seth took his duffle and cup and they made their way out to the road where they took a cab to the airport. It will take them a good three hours to the airport.

They were both sitting on the flight, which had already taken off an hour ago.

"I guess, you should get some sleep," Jack said to Seth, who was sitting on the window seat, looking out.

"I already had enough dreamless sleep," Seth said smiling wanely referring to all the sleep he got when he was unconscious.

"I am sorry for that, it was the only way to arouse no suspicion on you," Jack said apologizing.

"It's alright, I am glad that I didn't have to join all, six feet under," Seth said.

"You are right, I am just worried about their families, what will they say," Jack said thinking out loud.

"Let's not worry about that now. I don't want to think about it" Seth said and he turned away to sleep.

"Right, I will take some sleep too," Jack said and turned away to take a nap.

They got down of at the airport and checked out.

"What, now," Seth asked looking at Jack.

"Now, we go to Èze," Jack said going to one of the cabs.

The ride to Èze was better than the last time Seth was here. Partly because this time, it was a driver who knew the road and also because Jack actually knew french.

Seth not understanding a thing just tuned out and instead started looking at the passing scenery outside the car.

They reached eze early in the morning at around Seven. The cab dropped them outside the library.

"Okay now we will just have to book a hotel and we are set," Jack said handing him the translator.

"I doubt there is any hotel here, but I do know a place where we can live" Seth said and started walking.
