What? Akane questioned in her mind. He was that fast even while wearing those huge weights. Lee came charging towards her and she quickly began to make hand signs but she wasn't quick enough. Lee was already above her.

"Leaf hurricane." He called as he span in the air and kicked her in the stomach. Akane went flying into the air but managed to do a back flip and land on her feet. She looked up to find Lee already running at her again with another punch. She moved to the side on only just managed to dodge it. This was insane, she thought, he was 10 times quicker than before and his blows had more power behind them. There was no way that she could keep up with this speed, she had to slow him down. She had to use her Kekkei Genkei, it was the only way she could keep up with this guy. Akane took a blow to the side and bounced back, putting some distance between he and her opponent. Lee jumped back as well, sizing up the damage done to his opponent and thinking of his next attack. Akane was bent over slightly, clutching at her aching stomach and looking over at Lee. She took a deep breath and stood up. Closing her eyes she placed her hands together, intertwining her fingers together except for her forefinger and her middle finger. Those two were side by side pointing straight up to the sky. The only team watched in anticipation as Akane gently brought her two extended fingers to her lips.

"Taimukipa." Akane called and then she opened her eyes. Her left eyes was blood red like it always was but it was emitting a dangerous red light but it was her right eye that caught everyone's attention. It was now gold with a clock inside it, the black hands of the clock were turning around and around. After turning her Kekkei Genkei on Akane waited for Lee's next move. After realising she had no intention of moving Lee took charge. His speed was just as quick as before but through Akane's eyes his speed was the same as a snails. She waited for him to come close to her and thrown his prepared punch and then she moved behind him. Akane was moving no faster than she was before but to Lee and the other on lookers she was moving a thousands times quicker. Lee didn't even see her move, she seemed to vanish from right in front of him. Akane however brought her foot up and planting a terrifying blow in the center of Lees back, sending him flying forward and smashing into several trees but that didn't keep him down for long.

"What speed, it is incredible." He said getting to his feet despite his battered body.

"Do not be fooled, this is not speed. In fact I am moving no faster than I was before it is just that through my eyes you are now moving at snail's pace. To any on looker though your movements are just as fast as they were before and my own speed has increased ten fold. I currently have a 15 meter radius around me, a dome if you will and everything in it is slowed down considerably. To my opponent's movements, our onlookers, the insects moving on the ground, the wind and even your speak is slow to me."

"So what you are saying is that if someone were outside of this dome they could attack you without being effected by you increased speed?" He asked her but Akane shook her head.

"If they were 20 meters away from me and threw Kunai straight at me to them it would travel at normal speed however as soon as it entered my dome it would slow down in my eyes, meaning I would easily be able to dodge it if I were aware of which direction it was coming from. However if I were to use my ninjutsu to counterattack then yes, in the eyes of my opponent outside of my dome it would travel at normal speed, allowing them to dodge it if they were quick enough. The Taimukipa is an unbeatable defence and an excellent ally in attacking, providing the fact that the enemy is inside my dome. It means that it is perfect for taijutsu and any other close range combat so I'm afraid to tell you that while I use my Taimukipa you will not be able to land a single hit on me." Lee got into his fighting pose.

"That does not mean that I shall give up without a fight. If you wish to win then you must knock me out completely." Akane's eyes widened as she looked at him.

"What are you doing? I understand that you will not give up easily but I have just told you that your taijutsu will not work, so why is it that you are preparing to attack me with the very thing I just said with not work? Why do you not try something else? Of course any ninjutsu would still be out of the question since as you're in my dome is will be slowly down too and I will be able to dodge it but that still leaves genjutsu open to you. Why do you insist on using taijutsu?"

"Because it is the only thing I have. I have never been able to use neither ninjutsu or genjutsu and many have told me to give up on my dream to become a shinobi but I will not. I will become a great shinobi with taijutsu alone. Many have laughed at me for having that dream, they say a shinobi that cannot use ninjutsu or genjutsu is hardly a shinobi at all but I will not let that stop me. With Guy sensei as my teacher anything is possible." Akane stared at him in shock. He couldn't use them? She thought as she heard crying from her right. She saw Gai sensei with tears pouring down his face. She looked at Tenten who smiled and nodded at her and then to Neji who still watched her with cold eyes and an expressionless face.

"You should not lose your focus in battle." Lee called to her as he rushed forward but of course Akane saw it in extra slow time and dodge all of his many attempts to punch and kick her. She just dodged his attacks, not attacking him herself. She looked at his face as he attacked her, such determination in his face, she had never seen anything like that before. This guy was weird but inspiring. It was clear that Lee was not about to get tired. Akane clenched her fist, she'd finish the fight with one final blow.

"Wind style: hurricane fist." She called as a massive amount of wind engulfed her fist and she punched Lee on the chin. Lee flew upwards into the air, spinning as his height continued to increase.

"Lee!" Gai sensei called after his student as he watched him disappear into the clouds. All four of them looked up at the sky, wondering where Lee had gone but they were answered when they heard a scream come from above them. They saw Lee coming straight back down. He landed a few feet away from Akane, on his face with his butt sticking up into the air.

"Ow." He said as he lifted himself up. His body was completely cut up and the cheek he had landed on had really swollen up. He looked terrible and Akane instantly felt guilt.

"Ouch, maybe I went a little too far with that last move."

"You think?" Tenten questioned her looking at her beat up comrade.

"No, I am fine. Let us continue." Lee said as he stood up on very shaky legs.

"Lee I think that's enough for today." Gai sensei said looking down at his student. Lee collapsed to the floor, not being able to hold himself up any longer.

"We should probably get him to the hospital." Tenten commented looking at him. Akane frowned, okay now she felt really bad. She felt Neji's eyes on her again. She sighed and walked towards Lee and stuck her hand out towards him.

"I'm sorry for that...I just got a little too carried away. Plus for what it's worth...I won't ever laugh at your dream to become a great shinobi with taijutsu alone. I mean sure before I met you I wouldn't have thought something like that would have been possible but...I can see the dedication and determination in your eyes. I've never seen something like that before...and after everything that just happened...I think that someday you're going to prove to everyone that laughed at you that it is possible...so go for it Lee." She said with a smile. Lee's cheeks became very blushed.

"Yes I will and thank you for believing in me. You will not be let down, I promise." He said taking her hand and she pulled him up with ease.

"Okay." Akane said with a nod.
