My girl (Komaru Naegi X Reader)
You shyly held a neatly tied lunchbox in front of you, giving it to the lovely green eyed girl whom you secretly adored. You were going to put a love letter atop her favourite treat, but decided against by the last minute after your thoughts ran through the numerous (and atrocious) possible outcomes you can imagine possible.
"I made you your favourite," you held a finger up to scratch your chin. "Hope you like it!"
"Wow! Thanks Y/N-chan! You're a lifesaver!" She reddened, as she scratched the back of her neck. "I was running late and I forgot my lunch back home so uh—"
"Oh, you and I can share lunch together, I don't really mind." You shrugged.
"Really?" Komaru leaned closer, which prompted you to back away at the slightest before your body decides to rebel against you and pin her up against the nearest surface.... Oh Goddamnit, this is why you need to restrain yourself.
Your face reddened at the thoughts alone, and being in her presence makes you melt to a puddle of lovey dovey pile of goo at this very moment.
The dork just have to give you that smile— that smile you swoon over, the smile you adore whenever she wears it naturally across her features because of you. That sweet smile that sends sweet, heavenly, delightful nudges against your guts that the butterflies in your stomach fed on and will never ever get fed up with it... You will never deny to yourself that the smile she gives you is the best smile you have ever seen— a smile that you would love to see for forever. You wouldn't mind gazing onto them for eternity.
The way that she smiles at you right now because she was thankful of you, that she needed you... It was making you overwhelmed with rich delight and euphoria.
"No problem," you waved your hand to insist. "Now come on, we'll eat the dessert last."
And after she finished her half, she began to chomp down on the cake your gave her; a simple cake that only consisted with flour, water, sugar and egg. No icing, no frosting, just the plain ol' lump of cake that she really enjoys— the cake you always brought to school because you couldn't put icing and frosting at home or else you'd be late.
"Wow... You're really talented, Y/N-chan!"
The girl happily gushed, as she felt the sweet on her tongue burst into her mouth with a rich flavour— not overwhelming, definitely not bland, but a perfect blend of sweetness that she preferred.
It would be a lie if you said you weren't blushing, and there was no way in hell were you going to deny that you are indeed flattered with her compliment. Especially when it's coming from her. The girl just has a way to your heart, and you don't know how she got herself carved into your heart; but you're not complaining... But at the same time, you weren't sure whether she likes you back or not.
As far as you know, she treats everyone else like this. She is a happy, upbeat and outgoing person you met. She is very understanding, innocent and naïve in some way, attractive in every way and it just draws you in.
"B-but aren't you going to feel... I don't know... Don't you feel fed up with it? I mean, I've been giving you the same pastry for about a year now—"
"Are you kidding?! No matter how many times I eat them they still taste amazing to me!"
The girl insisted, giving you a playful push that caused you to almost topple over the ground.
Her words immediately took you to flusteredville where all you can do was do shyly avert your gaze from the girl, your feet subconsciously drawing circles on the dirt below your feet.
Seriously, she'll be the death of you. Either you'll pass out from the lack of oxygen, or maybe chemically poisoned with intense endorphins (if that even exist) in your systems, or maybe you'll decide to throw yourself off a cliff before you can even comprehend how much she is as sweet (or more than) sweet than a god made fluffy cinnamon roll... Yeah, that's enough thinking for now.
"Thanks Komaru... I appreciate it a lot..." You shyly chuckled, rubbing your arm, brushing aside your thoughts that details your possible deaths because of how cute and adorable this girl in front of you is.
"As expected of the future Ultimate Confectioner! You really are the best when making sweets!"
The girl beamed, still enjoying her slice of pastry you gifted her, whilst you just frowned. You weren't sure whether they'd accept you in Hope's Peak when there's already an Ultimate Confectioner there.
"Yeah, maybe I'll attend another school. Hope's Peak looks promising, but uh— I-uh don't want to overwhelm myself with school work too much," You said. "And I don't think my parents can handle to pay the tuition fees."
"Well, it's not like you need Hope's Peak to flesh out your talent!" She said. "Maybe we can attend the same school! You and I can build a bakery or something!" She wrapped an arm around your shoulder, whilst she dramatically drew an invisible line by the sky with her palm as if she were illustrating a banner.
"Y/N's bakery! It sounds generic but your sweets will definitely sell, because duh, you're like the best person with the best sweet making!" Komaru encouraged the flustered person seated beside her, but she never took notice of it, but was more occupied motivating the honorary entitled Ultimate Confectioner than to notice them blushing.
All you want to do in this current moment was to melt in her touch, so smooth, so soft, so tender... As if all of softness in the world was in every fiber of her being. You want to just daze into her eyes, emeralds beyond value, the glistening galaxy that resides in her optics. All you want to do was to feel your lips pressed against her rosy, innocent, pink and plump lips...
Lost in your thoughts, the mere sound of fingers snapping in front of your face was what pulled you from your fantasies. You bashfully averted your gaze, feeling your cheeks burn up. You timidly cleared your throat to excuse yourself.
"S-sorry, I zoned out," you said.
"Were you daydreaming about your crush?" The girl teases with an equally teasing finger jabbed on your cheek. She smirks as she can see your uncomfortable form squirm under her judging gaze. "Are they cute? What's their name?" She asked.
Definitely cute.
You decided to humour her. You crossed your arm under your chest, before putting a finger by the corner of your lip, as if you were in a thought. The girl leans closer to you, a brow raised as she awaited for your answer.
"Their name's U." Was it worth it if she knew how you feel? For all you know, you might not be her type. She's into cute guys, those guys who hold sports equipment...
"Huh?" Komaru perked up. "Their name starts with 'U'?"
"Yes, you." You gave in, but you doubt that she'll immediately get it. And you decided to take advantage of that for the sake of your entertainment.
"Huh? Hmmm, is it Uraraka?" The girl guessed.
"No, I already said you." You smirked, as the girl was still confused.
"W-what do you mean? Uraraka starts with U—" her eyes widened in realization. "Did you just confessed to me?" Her voice was at the highest range when realization smacked her across the face.
You shrugged, a certain red hue spreading across your cheeks. "Do you... Perhaps... Want to go out?" You timidly looked down at your feet as it subconsciously moved around in circles.
"I-I like you, too! I'd love to be your girlfriend!" She admitted aloud, beet red and timid. "I-I'll go out with you! Yeah, let's go out!"
You smirked. "Wow. You made it easy for me to ask you to be mine." You embraced her in your arms, a finger finding its way on her hairy, curling it. "But seriously, I love you." You nuzzled your cheek on to her warn ones.
"I-I love you, too, Y/N! More than anything!"
