The morning the light shinned in his face. Kaileon knew something was off. He thought hell was supposed to be an evil place, not some soft cushion. And then-

"Kai! Wake up baby time for school!" That voice... something he'd never heard in his life? Old life? Whatever this is supposed to be.
Opening his beautiful green eyes he stares up blankly at the smooth White ceiling. "Kai!" His door opens and there stood a woman a great beauty. Her light Golden skin glowed in the light that shown through Kai's white curtains and blinds. She had thick natural curly black hair that was neatly done in a bun. His eyes reflecting hers. Her bright smile putting a crease in his brows. Who is she?

"Come on kiddo,wake up you got school." She said once more. He stared at her confused then he put the piece together. Slowly,with shaking hands he stands up from the bed . All real. He was alive again! But this was different...this woman knew him , and it seems like she has for quite some time.

With a small laugh she hugs his body. "Oh my precious, " she kisses his cheek and ruffes his curls. "Come on and get ready, Mommy made breakfast." She then squealed and jumped in joy. "Ohh I made your favorite!" She rushed out the door leaving the boy stunned.

'Mommy?' he thought. What is this? Isn't he supposed to be.... dead?

He looks around the room a bit and decides to 'live' this so called 'do over life'. But Kaileon knew. He knew it wasn't real...it's couldn't be. If he's really dead, then...is this his hell?

"Um, M-Mommy?" He asked, unsure , as he stepped into the kitchen . The first thing he saw was a man sitting at the end of the table with a book in hand and an empty plate in front of him. He stopped dead in his tracks. It was his father. What to do? Was this the same one who hurt him? Well...his mom is here and he didn't have one of those .

"So what,You won't speak to ya old man now?" The man smiled, a true and loving smile that almost brought tears to the boy's eyes. This couldn't be true..

is father wasn't happy to see him at all-
His father was abusive! Who was this man!?

"O-Oh! Um. Good morning.." his voice as sweet as ever. He was so confused. He was dressed and ready tho. But, as he looked in his closet, they weren't the clothes he'd normally wear. Instead of 'nerdy attire' , as KC would say, it was filled with name branded clothes, shoes, even unopened boxes! He's never seen things of such ... things! This couldn't be his reality. He had clothes he couldn't even afford.

He was wearing a red and white Adidas's jumpsuit with a white t shirt underneath the unzipped jacket. He had on a pair of white socks ,and a red and white pair of Adidas's slides. His hair in a ponytail puff, and a book bag on his back. His 'parents' weren't at all shocked by his choice because this was his usual 'comfortable' look.

"Come sit, eat your food Hun" his mother smiled as she sat a plate of food in front of him. "O-Okay..."

|At School|

Now.. waking up this morning had Kaileon shook enough ,but a damn car to drive to school, and kids waiting for him to arrive in a nicer way put the icing in the cake.

He stood at his locker grabbing the books he needed and putting up the ones he didn't when he heard-

"Aye Red!" It sounded like them. The ones he forgave in his death note, but never hoping to see them again. He felt a tap on his back and finally he turned around facing them. They smiled at him, Real smiles!

"Wassup B!" Chris held his hand out for him to shake. Kaileon was absolutely confused right now. He remember seeing the boys hand shake and so him and Chris shook hands. KC smiled at him, and as always, chewing a piece of gum between his pearly whites. The two brothers wrapped their arms around the still CONFUSED boy and began walking down the hall.

"So, Later on we meeting up at Miah's crib to play the game n shit. We might invite some girls ,too, but it's a Monday so you know how that shit be woa." KC started off . "Yeah,So you up for it  or you gotta do sum later?" Chris asked. The trio stopped and waited for him to answer. He blushed looking down at his shoes . "S-Sure.."Chris snorted and KC laughed. Both joking at how the boy stuttered. Though Kaileon didn't know, The boys loved how cute he acted and talked. And he himself was confused, maybe this was his new life....the afterlife.
