My Only Sunshine (Edited)
"Okay! Okay!" Percy let out, laughing through tears. "You win! Please stop!"
Jason grinned, his fingers retreating from Jason's sides. His hands brought Percy near his chest. That is what they were 'fighting' about. If you can call that a fight. Percy had refused to be a maiden in his lover's arms. But Luke proved to be difficult when he won the fight by tickling Percy.
He held Percy in his arms happily, squeezing him in a loving comfortable way. He pressed a warm kiss to Percy's lips with a grin. "Told ya, I would get my way."
"Shut up," Percy muttered. He buried his face into Jason's shoulder going to take a nap.
The light of my life.
Jason often found himself staring at Percy. Whether he was asleep, awake or eating. He could never feel as at home as he is when he is with him. So bright and pure, even after its time in hell, it looked untouched. Percy would always catch him staring and tell his to stop, Jason just smiled and placed a kiss on his nose.
When there is nothing to look for, you are by my side. Had you not ended in the ruins of this prison, I would have lost it all, nothing but vengeance would allow me to continue to live.
"How does paper beat rock?" Jason asked.
Percy rolled his eyes. "It just does, I didn't make the rules so don't ask me."
"Alright." Jason said, holding out a fist.
They spent the last half hour playing trying to play rock, paper, scissors. No matter what, Jason didn't get the rules. From that they went after scissors and shoot confused of what beats what. But, secretly, Jason did this all on purpose. He enjoyed spending time with someone who . Enjoyed the feeling of Jason teaching him something. The game was simple enough but he played stupid.
I could not imagine a timeline without you by my side.
"What's with the grumpy face?" Percy asked, holding Jason's hand.
Jason looked at Percy, smiling sadly. "You won't remember this."
"What do you mean?" Percy frowned, not yet understanding what Jason meant.
"Nothing; my love." Jason chuckled. He held Percy tight and he hoped that this moment could last for a lifetime.
I wish and I plead the heavens above for you to stay by my side. Yet, I could not risk everything that makes you you,
Jason tried to convince himself that with time Percy would remain stable, but he knew that sooner or later, the strong will of the man would lose its touch as he dwelled in dark thoughts that came with the curse. Everything, everything, would be ruined for he had a curse to withstand.
His escape was something that was in the scripture of God's books, he would build his power for the great escape of the century. Yet, this this time he would put his conceit aside, a gesture of growth, he would bow his head to the heavens.
This was the moment that he had been mourning a flash of white light beamed, as Percy engulfed in flames.
His screams fell silent to Jason's ears. The silence was deafening as their eyes met and neither could do anything for the other.
