The Ghost of This World

Nikita got out of bed and quietly snuck downstairs. All was silent, no sound could be heard. Her family was fast asleep. When she got to the front door she looked back, doubt filling her, but that was soon replaced by determination.
She carefully opened the spruce wood door and slipped out into the night. The feeling in her gut pulling her onward guided her through the forest, past the White Creek, the creek that she had played at with Thomas and her friends when they were younger.
She remembered catching frogs and salamanders in the water, the laughter and cries of joy. She pushed the thought aside and continued on. She had a mission to complete.
Nikita passed caves and groves of blood red flowers, but the still the feeling pulled her on until she reached a clearing surrounded by tall, ominous birch trees, ghostly pale in the moonlight, like the bones of some ancient creature.
The clearing itself was stone not grass, and in the middle of that were a pieces of gold surrounded by netherrack set into the stone.
"Light it, and he will come." Said the voice of a Servant.
Nikita cautiously stepped forwards, closer to the netherrack.
"What do I light it with?" She asked.
"Look in your inventory."
She did, and found flint in steel. She then stood by the shrine and lit the piece if netherrack. Nikita then watched as the other pieces lit themselves until fire crackled around the gold. She took a step backwards and watched as the light in the forest grew brighter and brighter, emanating from the shrine. Then lightening struck the gold block and a figure could be seen, coming into existence, slowly becoming more real. Then he was there, fully formed with a glittering diamond sword held in his hand.
Herobrine was there.
Nikita took a step backwards, her whole body screaming for her to run, but in her mind she knew she shouldn't, and couldn't, run.
"I am finally back in the real world." Said Herobrine, turning his glowing white eyes on her.
"It has been far to long."
He stepped down from the burning shrine and walked towards Nikita.
"Why did you want to meet me here?" Asked Nikita, her voice strong and clear, even though the most powerful being in the world was standing right in front of her.
"Because you, Nikita, are the key to my plan." He said, his commanding voice rumbling through her bones like thunder.
"You are the only one who can tame the Dragon." He said.
Nikita stood there, stunned.
"The Ender Dragon?"
"Yes." Said Herobrine.
"Why would I want to help you?" She then asked.
"You've killed countless people."
"Because that is what your parents would want you to do." He said, staring right at her.
"They were my best spies, my closest Servants. They, to, had the ability to tame the Dragon, inherited through their family line. They passed the ability down to you, Nikita." He said.
"That is why I need you."
He then walked around to her left, stopping with his back to her, the rain that had begun to fall distorting his features.
"Do you want to know how your parents were killed, how you came to be here in this city?" He asked.
"Yes." Said Nikita.
"Your parents were making the journey to Shadowstone, your ancestral home, and my stronghold, from this very city after spying for me when a scouting unit from Brimstone's army ambushed them and killed them, knowing that they were spies. Your parents tried to reason with them, saying that were better alive then dead, and that they had a child, but they wouldn't listen. You were there, Nikita, though you were to small to remember, in the pack that they were carrying on their horse, hiding from the attackers. The soldiers found you and took you to one of the villages around Brimstone and you taken in by your currant family." He said.
"They... they killed my parents without stopping to even think, or realize that they had just killed a mother and a father, even when they had found me?" Nikita said, disbelieving.
"Yes." Said Herobrine, turning to face her.
"I need you to complete the mission they were going to be sent on, and finish their work."
"I cannot take you directly to Shadowstone, for fear that any of Brimstone's or the people who live out here should find the portal that I would need to open for both of us to make it. You will need to travel to the Shadowfang mountains to find the stronghold that leads to Shadowstone, but first you will need something to activate the portal with. The Ender Eye in the shop, you will need to either buy it or steal it to activate the portal." He said.
Nikita nodded.
"I will finish what my parents started." She vowed.
"And take revenge on those who killed them."
"Good." Said Herobrine.
"Go now, get the Ender Eye, and go to Quarterstone, where you will find allies that will shelter you, but first, I have my own gifts for to you."
Herobrine then produced a full set of enchanted diamond armor including a shield and tools.
"The armor is enchanted with Protection IV, which will save you from any type if damage, and the helmet has Respiration III, which will help you breath underwater. The boots have Frost Walker and Depth Strider enchantments on them. The pickaxe, shovel, and axe all have Silk Touch, all your weapons have Unbreaking III, Mending and Loyalty. Your sword has Knock Back II, Looting III, and Sharpness V. Your bow has Multi Shot, Fire Aspect II, Infinity and Power V."
He handed all of the weapons and armor to Nikita and she put all if it in her inventory so she wouldn't arouse suspicion in Brimstone if anyone was awake.
"Use these well, and we will meet again soon."
Then Herobrine's outline shimmered and glowed fiercely before disappearing. Nikita was alone again, and began to walk back towards Brimstone, now with the intent to steal the Ender Eye from the Rare Items Shop.
My family couldn't afford it at the price Jake has set, and he won't give it up anyway. It's his prized possession. She thought.
Nikita knew that she would have to get passed the guards to get into the city, but she knew a secret way into the city that she had told no one about, not even her parents or friends.
Though they aren't actually my parents. She thought ruefully.
They were killed by Brimstone's own men.
When she reached the wall she carefully walked in the shadows it cast around it to a secret alcove hidden by vines and grass. She pushed aside the vines to reveal a human-sized tunnel in the wall. Nikita then took a deep breath and went inside, the vines obscuring the tunnel once more as she ascended into the silent darkness.
