Joaquin pulled back "we shouldn't be doing this Preppy" he frowned. "What, why? Kevin asked his eyes burning as he refused to let the tears go. "I-I'm not good for you. I have a reputation you don't want in, that trust me" Joaquin whispered turning away. "No I don't care! I don't care if you're a runaway. I love you for you. Not for your personality or looks but just you. Can you not understand that?" Kevin asked hurt in his voice.

"I have to go Mi amor, I don't belong here" Joaquin looked down before walking away slowly, and just like that he was all alone again. No one he could help. No one who would love him for himself. He left that all behind him as he walked away. His heart heavy and full of hurt and loss.

He didn't turn back as he crossed out of Riverdale. He walked back to Serpent hideout. "DeSantos?" Sweet Pea asked "I let him go. He's gone just like everyone else" Joaquin replied.
