After Archie's previous trial the town was shaken, many people retreated to the welcoming and iconic Pop's chocklit shop. But for me i couldn't stand having a milkshake in this heat so instead I and some of the other serpents came back to our 'home' ever since the riots we tried our best to keep the hope of our gang alive we tried to make the new trailer park as home like as we could but it was difficult.  The minute you stepped foot in the perimeter of the serpents home you could smell the whiskey and smoke from the older serpents and camp fires and it reminded me of the trailer park and whyte wrym, i walked along the torn up gravel path to my family's trailer outside rested Toni and Fangs on the leather chairs around the put out fire, most likely catching up on her and Cheryl's three month road trip. "Antoinette topaz, long time no see" i said flashing the pinkette a small smile.

"Y/N Jones, are you hearing heels? or has the pink hair dye finally sunk into my brain?" Toni responded, tipping her sunglasses down to see me as i chuckled.

"You seem happy, don't bother telling me about what you and Cheryl got up to i think i already know" i said before making my way up the steps of the trailer "now if you'll excuse me i need to take these death traps off" i added referencing to the heels. after a couple of minutes once i had changed out of those heels and into my normal attire i rejoined fangs and toni outside "Do you two know where sweet pea is?" i asked curiously

"no, you know him probably just busy doing something" Toni responded before we heard fangs laugh making us look at him confused.

"Oh he's doing something alright, if you know what i mean" He said before realizing what he said "I uh mean nothing!". I just looked at him confused before sighing "i'm gonna go" i said excusing myself

"Oh! Cheryl's having a pool party later wanna come?" Toni added before i left the scene. i quickly nodded to answer her question before leaving.

Then out the corner of my eye i saw Toni look at fangs and say "alright spill Frogarty" but i thought nothing of it.

Later that day, most of the school were relaxing and enjoying the last amount of summer sun in the pool behind the burnt remains of thistle house. I was relaxing on one of the sun loungers by the side of the pool with Cheryl and Toni, taking a sip of my lemonade i spotted how happy everyone seemed. Kevin and his new boyfriend reading enjoying the sun, Betty and veronica chatting on another set of pool loungers and Archie and Reggie throwing a football topless. that seemed to catch some of the girl's eyes. However there seemed to be no sign of my brother or Sweet pea. Downing the last of my lemonade, leaving nothing but the ice cubes in the glass I joined in on the casual conversation that Choni was having, that was until i notice Toni stare off into the distance and go unusually quiet.

"Toni? Hellloooo!" I said waving my hand in front of her face to catch her attention and she soon snapped her head to look at me "Oh! um sorry just thought i saw something.." she responded

"like what?" I said before my vision wandered to see what had exactly caught her eye. "Y/N wait!" Was all I heard off Toni But it was to later I saw it, him and that pussy cat making out as plain as day. I felt my heart drop, I couldn't even think properly. I just sat there staring at them in disbelief. Once they were done with they're make out sesh and Josie has left I saw sweet pea flash his famous heart melting smile then he final noticed I was there as I got up to go past him

"Y/n! Wait it's-" he tried to reason with me before I swiftly turned on my heel to look at him "Oh save it sweet pea. If I'm being honest I'm surprised you didn't lose your tongue down her throat" then I turned back around until jughead managed to grab ahold of my arm and said "We gotta go"
