December has always been my favorite month because it has Christmas, New Year's Eve celebrations, and my birthday *\(^o^)/*

It's crazy to think I'll be 18 soon. 2017 has been a blur for me. It feels like April was just a few months ago.

However, this year is extra special~

First of all, I'll be part of the PokemonWatties/GottaReadEmAllClub livestream discussing the entries. Surprise voice reveal/surprise I'm a GRA critic (I think I forgot to mention this before, oops)! For more information about the event, check out the GRA page I linked above. By watching the livestream, you'll get to learn the PokéWatties' winners early ^^

Minor side-note: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't as excited for the PokéWatties' Special Awards as the main contest lololol. I'm on Cloud 9 since "Bonds" was nominated for four Special Awards, including Best Characterization. Did I squeal upon seeing that?

Secondly, I'm traveling to Washington DC for the first time on a Government field trip. I haven't been on a field trip since 2014, so I'm pumped! Not even leaving at 5:30 in the morning then getting back around 6-ish in the evening bothers me that much. Speaking of the ride, the charter buses the classes are taking are double-decker, and I can't decide which floor to sit on. Right now I'm leaning towards the second floor.

To be honest, my biggest concerns for the trip are the cold and my inevitable blisters ^^; I'll have to buy some hand warmers this year.

Last but not least, I'll be going to the courthouse and getting my ~official~ driver's license. Apparently there's a whole ceremony to receive one in Virginia. I'm kind of late since I'm almost 18, but shhh. Here's to hoping I won't look dumb for the photo! ...I feel like I jinxed myself ;o;

Let's have a fun December! My biggest wish is to have more than two inches of snow ❄️
