I feel really awkward being grim in the last post of this book so I'm gonna do some tags to lift!! My!! Spirits!!

Basically, I'm gonna list nine of my all-time favorite characters, and you guys have to guess what type of characters I'm drawn to aka do I have a type

01.) Kise Ryouta

Anyways, I love this snake-faced, Sharingan-eyed, pretty boy monster and firmly believe he's undervalued in the Wattpad fanfic community. Reducing him to a hyperactive, bubbly masochist is completely unfair to his character. More people need to draw from the interesting personality he displays in the manga, gdi.

Note: all the characters past this are ranked in no particular order. Just know Kise is my #1 lmao.

02.) Ron Swanson

I quote Ron Swanson on the daily bc this man is full of wise words to live by lmao. Some of his gems include:

• "If you need anything at all, too bad."

• "Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing."

• "Dear frozen yogurt: be ice cream or be nothing."

03.) Katara
Media: Avatar the Last Airbender

I loooooove Katara so much. She was the character I was most invested in throughout the series. Ngl, I would try to recreate her waterbending moves in the shower when I was little 😂

04.) The United States of America
Media: Hetalia

For those of you who don't know, Hetalia is a light-hearted comedy series about personified countries going through historical events together. That's why America is a character lol. If you're a history nerd, I highly recommend it.

He's just so happy and goofy and dorky??? USA, USA 🇺🇸

05.) Tachibana Makoto
Media: Free!

When people say "not all men," they're talking about Makoto. Makoto would never treat anyone poorly 😤 He's too good for the world.

06.) Legolas
Media: The Lord of the Rings

Of course I have to mention the character who spurred me into writing fanfics that I'd post online. Other things I ended up doing bc of this character include:

• trying archery

• appreciating nature a lot more

• learning how to speak Elvish

07.) Nikki Maxwell
Media: Dork Diaries

Dork Diaries was my shit all the way up until high school where I was too embarrassed to be caught reading what looked like Diary of a Wimpy Kid For Girls™ books. I can crack open the books I own and still giggle in amusement over everything Nikki has to face.

08.) Jinx
Media: Teen Titans

Pink hair, cute goth outfit, cat-like eyes, psychic powers, sass, snark, a redeeming arc? Jinx has everything and more 💖

That episode where it focuses on Jinx realizing maybe she doesn't want to be a villain anymore after she catches Kid Flash is one of my all-time favorite episodes of any show ever.

09.) Kronk
Media: The Emperor's New Groove

Kronk is an accurate representation of my last brain cell trying to make sense of the world.

Side note, but does anyone else remember that spin-off series Kronk had way back in the day on Disney Channel? I feel like I hallucinated it lol.
