hey so I need honest opinions because lately with losing my notes and having little motivation (improving!!) to write, I've been really insecure with where I want the mc series to go

my first concern are the amount of OCs because there will be lots of them in the future where the ratio of actual characters to OCs is like 1:3

these OCs are not like added at the last second like Killia and Kei (I've tied up loose ends with them tho) and are vital to the story

they are not overpowered!! Some of them are Hero-tier so ye but like you've seen with Hero, I'll make them suffer more than actually be victorious HAHA I'm kidding I hope

And uh

What are your opinions on Hero having a child? A family?

He wants to have one on Minecraftia, because everyone else in his family are dead and are in the Aether, and he can only visit once or twice a week, where he'll come back to Minecraftia overworked and exhausted.

After Inherited, he's definitely improved mentally. He knows he's more stable, and that he has the finances to have a family. In that time period he starts thinking about having a family, before deciding that yes, I want one, I want a lover, I want to have children, I want to love and be loved.

Look, its quite clear in Forbid the Unknown that he already has a lover, albeit a dead one, who he visits. Y'all know who I'm talking about.

That lover, wants a family too. He and Hero have probably talked about it. That lover had been surrounded by his clanmates and their pups, their families, and he did confess about wanting to have pups of his own when he was still alive. He did not change his mind at all, even if he is currently dead.

They both think they are unable to have actual children because of the lack of certain organs. Sure, there are illegal rituals but those are far to risky.

They can adopt, but only in Minecraftia. Which means one of them will be left out in parenting, which he is surprisingly fine with. He wants to watch from the Aether, and probably take on a 'guardian angel' form, but I'm still thinking about that.

So yeah, I plan to have Hero possibly adopt, and raise a child.

What do you think about that?

Okay. Next. Another child problem.

Steve is married to a lovely woman. They both also want a child, and I plan to give them one, around the same time Hero has his own. I'll get to why later.

Sky! I wrote a little fluffy short on Hero coming to visit him and his son, Mason. This occurs after Forbid The Unknown. I plan to take that down, but it is very clear I want to keep Mason in this story. Yes, I know about the Alesa problem, and I plan to keep her out of the story. I basically want to keep Sky a single father. I'll think of something for the 'missing mom'. I'm open to ideas about it though!!

The reason why I'm talking about characters and their children is because I plan to have a different arc about the three children of the three soldiers; Sky, Hero and Steve.

Since their fathers are close to each other, no doubt that they have met and grown close to each other from young. I want them to be a friendship trio, and I want to write about them going on their own crazy little adventures featuring their dads, and their dads' friends who they call either uncle or aunt.
