"Ugh....my head is spinning."Frisk said as they look up. They look like they were in someone's basement. It was all dusty and every where they look is just darkness except for the small window high above."I knew I shouldn't have gone,"Frisk said looking down at the ropes that bound her,"Why must my curiosity get the best of me?"Frisk looked at the ropes, Undyne taught them how to escape being tied up. Within minutes Frisk has broken free and is searching for a way up to the window."The door is locked and I could lose myself in the darkness by the look of how big this place is..."Frisk pondered for a moment."Maybe if I could move those shelves near the window...."Frisk pulled one of the shelves across the floor and lined it up with the windowsill. With a heave, Frisk lifted themselves up and tried budging the window to open."It's no use. It's been untouched for years by now."Frisk stared at the dusk light that gleamed through,"Toriel is gonna get worried."Frisk then remembered what Undyne told them,If you can't move them, break/shove 'em! Frisk then smashed their foot into window glass, shattering it into dust. Frisk shuddered as they stepped onto the dust on their way out of the basement."Well, I see you're on your way home."a voice said from behind."Huh?"Frisk turned around to face a brown hair girl wearing a light blue shirt and jeans. Her hair was slightly longer by an inch. "Well Frisk, I see those monsters have taught you how to escape out of imprisonment,"the girl shook her head,"I guess we grew up differently." Frisk looked at the girl long and hard until it hit them as who they were."Maria? Is that really you?"Frisk questioned."Yep.Can't blame you for forgetting me. Afterall you did want to leave."Maria said laughing."Okay...so why did you kidnap me?"Frisk asked,"Well isn't it obvious? I did it for a "friend" of mine."Maria said in a serious tone."Friend?"Frisk said questionably. "ME YOU IDIOT."Chara said appearing in front of Maria."Ch...CHARA?!" Frisk exclaimed."Yes, Chara seemed to 'give' me power. And I WANT MORE." Maria said staring at Frisk."What does Chara know about power? They just want to destroy the WORLD!" Frisk shouted."Correction, YOU wanted to destroy the world, YOU wanted power, YOU TOLD ME POWER IS EVERYTHING." Chara said at Frisk who silenced down and faced at the ground."I-""SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Chara shouted with tears in their eyes."Why are you crying?"Maria asked surprised."....heh...Frisk, you'll get what you deserve." Chara said sadly. "NOT ON MY WATCH!" shouted a voice from above."This voice...BETTY!"Maria said angrily,"Maria?!" Betty exclaimed landing on her feet."Why are you here? Why is Frisk 100 miles away from their home?! Why is that ghost here?!"Betty asked quickly."SHUT UP BETTY. YOU AREN'T NEEDED HERE!"Maria shouted in frustration."Maria, this isn't you..."Betty said calmly." You don't understand how it feels... to be helpless, powerless, USELESS."Maria stated angrily but tried to remain calm,"As you can see, Frisk is my friend." Betty looked at Maria straight in the eyes,"I believe we both know the truth of that statement." Maria clapped her hands together, causing Betty to get trapped between the gravity. Chara instantly uses a weird spell on Betty causing her to scream in pain. A small orb of purple mist forms in Chara's hands. Frisk quickly ran and blocked Betty from Chara to prevent the orb from growing."I gotta thank that wisp for the spell,"Chara said smiling,"Afterall, she told me how to eliminate you." "Chara, stop doing this, this isn't right,"Frisk said holding her hand out,"I can help you." "Enough with the chatter, give me the power,"Maria said reaching for the purple orb."Here, take it,"Chara said tossing the orb to Maria."Finally, the power I am seeking bestows before me!"Maria said in triumph. Betty falls to the ground but gets up steadily after Maria breaks the orb underneath herself causing the purple mist to envelope her."You got what you wanted,"Chara began,"Now get me the soul!" Maria looks at Chara for a good long second, then lifts her hand and blast Chara away."You impudent fool, I will never help you,"Maria said evilly,"I already got what I wanted." Frisk looks at Maria for a minute then ran towards Betty to support her. Maria flew off and left Frisk with Betty

"Frisk...a..are you.. okay?"Betty coughs while leaning on Frisk."Yeah, but you're the one I should be asking." Frisk makes it to Betty's house and waved bye."My child! Where have you been!"Toriel cries when she saw Frisk return after an several hours."Hey kiddo, what's the hold up?"Sans said looking at Frisk. "THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL MAKE YOU SPAGHETTI."Papyrus shouts while running to the kitchen. "You lil' punk! Where have you been?! You had us worried sick!" Undyne shouted with a smile. "You wouldn't even know,"Frisk said smiling,"I'm going to my room!" Frisk walks into their "room" and flops onto the bed."I wonder what spell Chara did, who was the wisp Chara had also mention..."Frisk wondered as the stared up into the ceiling.

                             ---------Mean while at Betty's--------

"Why do I feel so weak...."Betty pondered as she uses a chair to help her stand,"Ugh.... I feel like when I first got my powers..." Betty tried to teleport herself to her bed, but fails and ends up stumbling onto the floor."Ow...what is going on?"Betty cried to herself as she crawls towards her bed. Struggling to get onto her bed, she felt a presence near her. She immediately turns her body around to see Sans smirking at the doorway."What do you want?"Betty asked as she tries to get up."A few simple answers, that's all."Sans said glaring at Betty who managed to stand but flops onto her bed. Betty lays on her bed frame,"Okay, so you want answers to what?" "Just why Frisk came home late, why are you tired, and why we should still trust you." "First of all, Frisk was taken 100 miles from here. Secondly, I don't know why I'm very weak and exhausted. And lastly, I never said you could trust me. I said only FRISK can."Betty said calmly. Sans lifted his hands and slammed Betty into the wall."What the heck Sans."Betty coughs. "Seeing how you are still alive, I take it that you lost your magic and you put Frisk in danger."Sans said glowing his left eye."Just be glad they DIDN'T die."Betty said landing on the floor on her feet, to only fall down. "Yeah, but let me tell you, if you weren't Frisk's pal, YOU'D BE DEAD WHERE YOU STAND okay?" Sans said standing near Betty."Shut up bonehead. You don't even know if I even cause Frisk to be in danger." Betty said coughing. Sans shrugged then teleported away. END OF PART 8
