Plot
| Wei Wu Xian and Lan Wang Ji, two talented disciples of respected clans, meet during cultivation training and accidentally discover a secret carefully hidden for many years. Taking on the legacy of their ancestors, they decide to rid the world of the ominous threat. But in a dramatic turn of events, Wei Wu Xian dies.

Personal Review
| This series is just a masterpiece. 50 episodes sound like a lot, but in the end you want you want to watch even 100 more. The whole storyline, aesthetic and characters are just amazing and this drama set my standards very high now. The beginning might be a bit confusing, and it also was difficult for me to remember all the chinese names, but you'll soon get into it. There's not a single "filler-episode" so every episode is worth watching. I didn't even need a week to finish this series 'cause it was just too addicting. Especially Lan Wangji has a place in my heart now. I just love the depth of his character and even though he seems emotionless at the beginning you'll soon see his true intentions and feelings. So overall I just wanna watch the series again without knowing what will expect me. I'm just impressed, and in my opinion this series is a pure masterpiece and y'all should watch it. It's also available nearly everywhere so everyone should be able to watch it somehow.
