The mother then stepped up to dry the pup's tears, but Taehyung was already there wiping them away from the younger beta's face. Making the situation a little awkward as the woman stood there and stuffed her hand back in her pocket before taking out Ju-won's documents. “I-I wanted to talk to the two of you…” Said the woman as the father stepped forward behind her once Yoongi shut the door.

        “I guess you can say that we wanted to talk to you two as well…” Taehyung bickered into a mumble, and Yoongi was left in silence after. “Please sit.” Taehyung ordered and the guests quickly sat down. They were aware that he was a celebrity; making things more embarrassing for the two of them to show up after two months of their absence. As the two sat down, Taehyung looked at them head to toe as if he was judging them right at the spot.

         “What happened after all this time?” Yoongi asked first and with that, Taehyung nodded his head in agreement to hear on what happened to them to make them leave Ju-won like this. “Where have you been? Were you forced to come back here for Ju-won?” Wondered the alpha as the father cleared his throat to answer. The mother on the other hand, was silent and staring at the pup with dismay. Guilt lingered on in her mind and regret she had from making her pup suffer this much.

         “Well… We just… Couldn't take care of him.. You know at times, you're so confident in something, you don't want to give up but then, along the way you lose love in that special something.” The man spoke. However, Taehyung just couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could someone lose love in raising their own pup? “We struggled with him… Let alone we had him so young and once we found out he was a beta… We knew our family would think of him as a waste… I'm sorry...”

          “You know, that's very immature to throw him away when your parents don't grow very fond of a beta. So if your parents don't like him? How many times did you abandon him? How many people did you have to and talk to before taking him and repeating everything? Don't you ever think about what he might feel under all of this?” Taehyung snapped and went into telling the couple how much fear could build within the pup towards all the time he spent wandering around and calling other alphas, betas or even omegas his own parents, he was suffering through it all. “If you can't take care of him… then give him to someone who can.” Taehyung insisted as the mother's eyes locked onto the ground.

          “Seeing how he's grown so used to you after all this time and clings onto you even when he sees his own mother after so long, it shows that you have showed him love… I-I think I want you to hold onto him longer.” The woman claimed and Yoongi folded his arms after hearing this answer.

           “What is he? Like some item to hold onto? No.. I think it's better if you step up your responsibility or just set him up for adoption… We'll take care of him and adopt him as our own.” Yoongi spoke to the parents and made the other alpha in the room silent. Ju-won's appearance seemed to come off from his father even more. The eyes and nose while he had the pale face of his mother, red plump lips and the rosy cheeks as well.

           “Then if you want him… we need money in exchange and we'll leave you both with him… Here are documents.” The father spoke and Taehyung alone was in disbelief after hearing about what the parents were aiming to bargain at the moment.

            “You want money in exchange? Putting your child up for adoption for money? You two just never gave him a chance… Didn't you?” Taehyung questioned and this left the woman to sigh. Only then, Yoongi sat next to his beta and sat down right by his side to gaze at him.

              “Taehyung… Just let it happen. How much do you want?” Yoongi asked and looked at the couple. “Name your price and in exchange, you put Ju-won into the adoption center and we will adopt him.” Spoke the alpha and Taehyung just didn't like that the parents thought Ju-won was just a little object to hold and sell like nothing. It was because he was a beta; incapable of bearing children and let alone, they were only seen as toys in this society. However, Taehyung wasn't so fond of the thought of accepting Ju-won for a price… yet, it was the only way they would leave Ju-won to the ones who really loved him. Taehyung imagined the pain that would come if Ju-won was sent off and dropped once again from his snobby parents. Taehyung had to agree in order to make them go away.

             “Thank you so much… we need it to get right back on our feet again. Take good care of Ju-won.” The woman assured and Taehyung just counted the seconds until they were to leave. After a good and long talk, they made it out of the house soon with a check with so much money to start their lives over again and get a new house to start their own family when they could. But, Ju-won was now just another beta out there to them. They handed over the documents and agreed to get Ju-won into the adoption system so Yoongi and Taehyung could adopt them together. There was no hassle, only because Taehyung just wanted to have the pup and he held back from lecturing at them both right before him and Yoongi alone.

           As soon as they left that afternoon, Taehyung brought Ju-won into his arms and smiled happily while hugging his only pup. “Ah! We'll get you adopted as soon as possible! I don't care how long the paperwork will take, I'm just so happy to have you! I love you so much, Kim Ju-won!”

          “Ahem, it'll be MIN Ju-won!” Yoongi interrupted and had his arms folded while Taehyung turned his head and smiled with tears only falling from his face right at his alpha. “I noticed that his birthday was a month ago and we didn't know… Ju-won is now three!” Yoongi confirmed as the pup was giggling happily; unaware of the whole reason why his new parents were so happy all of the sudden, but he grew to enjoy the feeling of having everyone happy compared to the tense atmosphere in the room before.

         “Then, let's go out and celebrate on his belated birthday! Just us three… A family.” Taehyung announced and the pup was now jumping excitedly on the couch to head out with his new parents. He believed those parents that showed up at the door, were the new people coming to take him away; but those were his real parents, meeting his new parents and making things fall into place for the future to come. The couple were happy with the pup under their embrace now and they couldn't have asked for anything better than that.

        Further into the evening, Jimin woke up from a long nap and finally stood up to stretch. The omega took a good look around to realize that everything was silent and still. The room was diminished of light and the pregnant omega felt goosebumps just rise from sitting in silence. “Why is it so quiet…?” Jimin whispered and flipped on the light switch before stepping out of his room. Just outside was nothing but darkness and Jimin flipped on every switch along the way in silence and eventually peered over the railing of the second floor to see Minho curled up in the arms of Jungkook while the galaxy light was on and rotating along the ceiling. With all of this, Jimin smiled to himself while taking a moment to look over his small family.

        “Soon, you'll join us too… I can't wait to have you both with us. But I need to be patient through it all..” Jimin said with a smile and placed his hand over his baby bump before letting out a giggle. “You both can't hear me, but I will talk to the two of you like you can hear me. I love talking to my pups like this… It makes me so happy.” The omega continued and kept gazing over Minho and Jungkook on the couch; sleeping after reading over a book together like always. “I can't wait to have you both here… Then we'll be a bigger family!” Jimin said to himself and couldn't let the smile fade from his gaze once he looked down to his belly bump. “Just like your father… I'll be the one to protect you two aswell.” Promised the omega.

         Only then, he was close to walking down the steps when suddenly, a hand gripped onto his wrists and caused the omega to panic and look back with a frightened gasp. His eyes were filled with fear as he then locked eyes to see that it was only his bodyguard standing there with a small box in his other hand. “Jimin..”

         “O-Oh! You scared the shit out of me!” Jimin hissed and let out a relieved sigh. “J-Joo-Ho… What do you want?”

         “I'm sorry, Jimin. Oh! Jungkook sent me out to get you this…” Joo-Ho said and held out the box that housed the taser within. Jimin's eyes locked onto the box and looked back up at the bodyguard. “Please.. It's for your own good.”

          “No. I don't want a weapon in my hands! Minho could get hurt…” Jimin said as the bodyguard then grabbed Jimin's hand and placed the box over his clutches. Not really giving Jimin a choice by there. “Joo-Ho… I said no!”

           “But, I said yes… Jungkook said yes. You'll regret this if you don't take it now. Do it for you and your pups' safety. If anything happens to Jungkook or me… Use it to protect yourself.” Joo-Ho warned Jimin. He was told by the other alpha not to mention anything about the gift Kyunsji ‘sent his apprentice to deliver' to the mailbox; only because Jungkook didn't want Jimin to stress and grow even more afraid compared to before.

         Jimin gawked at the box that carried the taser and closed his fingers and grip around it. Having to accept the dangerous defense weapon he could handle, meaning that maybe something was bound to happen… He just couldn't tell what it was. All the omega felt was fear rising in him as he slept on the couch with Jungkook and his pup that night when rain began to pour. Growing too petrified to sleep on his own after putting the taser in his bedroom drawer. If anything, he tried practicing how to use it by knowing how to quickly turn it on in case of a crisis; yet, using it each time he practiced, made his stress and anxiety pile up by the second.

          Jimin caressed Jungkook's face close to his and tilted his head while the alpha was then awaken by the feeling. His eyes met with his worried omega while Minho was still over the alpha's chest. Sleeping through the heavy rain outside. “Jungkook..” Jimin spoke so silently as the alpha rose his brows to signal Jimin to keep talking. “Jungkookie… Jungkookie, please don't leave me tomorrow…” Jimin whispered and continued guiding his hand along his alpha's face. “Please…”

         “Don't worry, babe… I won't be gone all day. Besides, Joo-ho is here. Don't worry about the little things. I sai-”

          “Please… I'm frightened…” Jimin whispered before breaking into tears followed by sobs that he tried his best to keep silent. “Don't go… you telling Joo-Ho to buy that taser… scared me each time I turned it on.”

          “Jimin… Stay strong. You telling me how afraid only weakens me even more… You doubting me makes me grow afraid of trying to protect you. I'm taking risks like this and I want you to understand. Tomorrow is going to be just fine.. Just a few more days until his trial. I promise.” Jungkook assured and felt Jimin continue to caress the side of his face so softly while Minho was still fast asleep.

          “Jungkookie…” Jimin whispered once more and moved his head in against his husband's face to whisper. Jungkook just didn't know why Jimin felt so off all of the sudden, yet, seeing him like this only made him want to cry to himself silently. “...Before you go, give me a kiss… And make it last forever...” Jimin requested. Knowing well that Jungkook goes to work early and wouldn't ever have a chance to wake up at the same hour; especially when Jimin alone carried twins that doubled his hours on sleep.
