--Yes Or No, No In Between. Get What I Mean?

"I don't know, K-Ci. Us coming to Serenity Falls' studio for your concert seems like a good idea but what will Khyrese say about it?"

"Yeah. Jojo's right," Dalvin had agreed. "Khyrese doesn't really seem genuine, no offence. And we don't want you to get in trouble."

K-Ci had just invited Jodeci to come over to the studio of Serenity Falls for their concert in a few minutes time.

After some very thoughtful consideration from Dalvin, Jojo and DeVante unanimously, the three of them had thought that it would have been in their best interest for them to stay here.

It was a good idea but they didn't want to risk anything. It had really seemed as though Jodeci was Serenity Falls' rival group.

K-Ci couldn't have been friends with someone from his rival group, could he?

"Y'all are tripping. You guys ain't my rivals. Don't say that," K-Ci had reminded them. "Plus Khyrese doesn't have to know, does he? You guys could come inconspicuously."

That was a good idea after all...

It also wasn't unlike K-Ci to disobey rules.

DeVante, Jojo and Dalvin had just looked at each other blankly but they didn't know what to do.

Go against Serenity Falls' wishes?

Or go to the concert?

"Assuming you bring us here then from Khyrese's point of view it could seem as though you ain't serious about his group."

That was coming from DeVante, which K-Ci really hadn't taken into consideration.

He didn't even know if he wanted to stay at Serenity Falls permanently yet though, that was the thing.

He had liked the group.

But he had also liked Jodeci.

He had been with Jodeci for years and years.

His teammates were all like his brothers because of this as well.

At the same time... the dude needed a break.

He needed to explore the world.

Plus Serenity Falls was way more popular that Jodeci were, which K-Ci could have really used to his own benefit.

Not to say that assuming he had decided to stay there was for an ulterior motive... but now that he had thought about it, maybe it was time for him to leave his friends behind.

K-Ci had always wanted to follow his dreams, but not at his teammates' expense.

"I haven't got time. Y'all coming or not? Serenity Falls are rapping and singing in half an hour. They're rehearsing right now to make sure that everything is right. It's either yes or no. No in between. Y'all get what I mean?"

Yes, they did.

K-Ci had additionally informed them that he had actually talked to Khyrese about all of this and he was OK with this.

Jodeci were kind of suspicious though- then at the same time, K-Ci had seemed as though he was actually telling the truth about this.

It wasn't that Khyrese didn't like Jodeci, he did. Otherwise he wouldn't even have asked K-Ci to come and join Serenity Falls in the first place.

He had seen Jodeci as a distraction to be honest.

If K-Ci wanted to come to his group then he needed to be fully dedicated to it.

Bringing Jodeci around wouldn't have showed that.

"I never said that I was staying there."

"So you're not?" Jojo and Dalvin had beamed really widely, with K-Ci just rolling his eyes and sighing at the other end of the phone.

They were all FaceTiming each other after all.

K-Ci didn't actually have time to talk to any of them in person today, until right now.

"I never said that I was staying with you guys either. I still haven't decided yet to be fair."

K-Ci had then had to go though because Khyrese was calling him in the background, having absolutely no idea that he was talking to Jodeci right now.

He was also thoughtful enough not to ask him because he knew that it didn't concern him. But what Jodeci didn't realise was the fact that K-Ci had lied about everything.

And he hadn't talked to Khyrese about them at all.

No to get them into trouble or anything.

Because he knew that Khyrese would have said no.

It was a shame he hadn't told them the truth before they had arrived.

"If Khyrese said yes then I guess we can go." DeVante realised.

They had doubted this for a long time at first but K-Ci didn't really lie to them so therefore they had taken his word for it.

Not noticing that they were going to land themselves into a lot of trouble when they had arrived at the Serenity Falls concert.

And so was K-Ci as well.

All of them were done for at this point entirely.
