"I know I'm extremely mad at her right now and I have every damn right to be but what if I can't find a better girlfriend than Rozonda?" K-Ci had ranted to DeVante when both of them were alone.

"What if she was going to be the best girlfriend I ever had? I don't know what to do, man. Rozonda and I had an almost perfect relationship had this whole abortion thing not messed everything up for us."

K-Ci and DeVante were talking to each other backstage about what was bothering K-Ci, whilst Dalvin and Jojo in the meantime were waiting for Jodeci to be called up to the stage.

Turned out...

They weren't after Bell Biv DeVoe.

They came here too early.

They were after some group named Serenity Falls. Jodeci knew of them- except K-Ci. K-Ci didn't know them, but they were a hip hop group.

Serenity Falls had a lot of members.

Khyrese- owner
Erica Grace - daughter
Calastana - daughter
Jahking - nephew
Jordan Francis - son
Dianté - son
Tatiana - niece

The boys rapped and the girls had danced. They were honestly really good at both of them and the entire audience was going crazy over them.

K-Ci wanted to talk to DeVante in private because he wanted to apologise to him for the way in which he had been treating him earlier.

They were friends now but DeVante soon realised that K-Ci had seemed distressed about something, so they were both kinda talking about his problems backstage.

He was ranting a lot about Rozonda right now, but then he wasn't at the same time, if that had made sense anyway.

Even though he was mad at her, he had still kind of missed her and he was worried that no other future girlfriend would have been able to top her... but damn.

Did DeVante have a lot to say on that.

"Bro, any girl can top her."

"What if they can't?"

He rolled his eyes.

Dude, were you totally forgetting the fact that Rozonda had kept the fact that she wanted an abortion away from you?

You had practically gotten her pregnant for nothing. Nothing paid off.

DeVante had reminded him about this, also telling him that if a girl was really worth it, she wouldn't have put K-Ci through anything she wasn't sure about.

ie pregnancy.

"She kept this a secret away from you."

"She told Kayshani."

"Kayshani's her brother. She didn't really have a choice."

That was actually true.

Why did K-Ci suddenly stop being mad at Rozonda?

It was her loss, man, not his!

He didn't have to put up with her crap anymore. Man, the single life felt gooood.

K-Ci hadn't been single in a very long time, but there was something else on his mind.

He had extremely terrible stage fright. They had performed in front of people before, yeah, but not this many people before.

And K-Ci was just worried that he was going to completely screw up.

"Don't think like that, man. Dalvin was like that earlier and we all told him the same thing. You'll be fine."

Hopefully.

It was time for them to perform.

Jodeci was finally going on stage in front of all of them people.

Serenity Falls had just finished rapping their song with the same name as their group (for some reason) and the crowd went wild.

How the hell were Jodeci supposed to top that?

"Don't think too much about it," DeVante soothed. "Just pretend that no one is here. You sing better that way, don't you?"

K-Ci nodded, then they fist bumped each other and smiled.

Damn, those lights.

That stage.

The crowd.

The crowd was screaming for them before they had even gone up, and even more so when they had actually arrived on the stage.

Jodeci had never felt so much love in their entire life.

Dalvin had somehow conquered his stage fright fears already, unless he wasn't trying to think too much about it, as he had introduced them.

They all screamed.

So they brought it.

They had the ultimate time of their life at this concert.
